Or for, you know, catching Pokemon. Shit, I already had to catch the Pokemon in their respective areas in Gen III, why do I have to do it again to transfer them. -_-
 
I half wonder, because it will still be supported by the DS, why you can't just trade a bloody Pokemon from a 4G to Black or White in a similar manner they managed for GSC/RBY.

I mean, if it's on the same blasted system, there should be no excuse for not including a trade option. I'm more than happy to use my second DS for that instead of some timed minigame garbage.

Thirded. Pal Park was so unnecessary. With all the programming hours they spent on that whole area they could've just given us a Battle Dome.

On that note, the 5th gen's Battle Fronteir better have a Battle Dome. I demand it.
 
Aw geez, pal park? Why cant they just forget it. They should make it like a normal trade, except you just go and take 6 pokemon from whatever and forget about it. Why can't you import pokemon with HMs either? Its so annyoing, is it because they want you to find the hms in your game? The rule should be: If you have the HM that the poke has, then thats that. Take it.
This problem haunts me because my little brother wont delete his file in sapphire because hes got some useless level 50's and crap. They have bad ivs, evs, moves, and the whole pokemon is useless itself. The only good thing he has from it was a shiny bagon, which i traded to ruby, which I deleted (forgetting about the bagon). I didn't even get to check its ivs :( .
The point is I wouldve traded it to my diamond, but I then think "oh, pal park is annoying! I'll do it later.". Later was too late...

Another thing I deleted was my latios, which took me a year to catch (after finding it of course.....)

Isshu probably won't have a lot of pre-5th gen Pokemon in it making trading even more annoying?
 
Since everyone seems up in arms about the new Pal Park thing, I'm surprised no one has mentioned that it seems the video also accidentally revealed a new Pokemon. Look at 2:10 - looks like a swan sort of Pokemon!

Aaand one at the end that looks a hell of alot like Minezumi.

Not too big on the swan pokemon, I'm cool with the rest.

The minigame looks pretty easy, nothing to complain about really.

The visuals look gooorgeous.

Really doesn't look like a Stantler pre-vo, I'm betting on a new line.

The new contests seem aaawesome.

I was just about to post that they were just throwing out new Pokemon left, right and centre.

Last one is most certainly Minezumi's evo...looks good.
The deer is cute but the swan wasn't seen in-game.
The music contests look hilarious.

The video is taking forever to load, I can't wait to see all the new stuff.

The Minezumi evo-esque thing appears to be "Miruho" but it looks like there should be more text after it.

Also, Pokemon Musical...? LOL, guess that's our new Contest/Pokethlon.

This video virtually confirms America/New York City. I mean, American football player...

EDIT: There IS more text after it, herpaderp, and its name is right on filb.de. Minezumi evolution is named Miruhog (essentially watchful groundhog).

But, you know, semantics, whatever.

Black woman with green hair shown is known as Aloe (as in literally aloe like the stuff in lotion, not just a romanization of the kana) and she's a Gym Leader, apparently. That's how Filb.de is calling it anyway. I can't see the GOD DAMN video because it's not loading.

I wouldn't say she's the first black person (I mean, Dahlia even has an English name in the Japanese version where she's... Dahlia, same deal here where the woman is called as the English word Aloe), but she's definitely the first seriously dark-skinned one.

Minezumi's evo looks pretty good, so does that deer. the swan I'm not too keen on, but the art for it has accessories and such on it, so I'll wait for the official art.

and the PokeShifter looks better than Pal park. faster, and more strait forward. I'm just wondering what happens if you don't catch them before the time is up.

the game itself looks amazing, from a pure graphical standpoint.

Yep, seasons. Very nice. Though, I hope they are not based on real seasons, since to make seasons interesting you should change Pokemon locations and such up but if you had wait for a season that would be a huge load of BS.

Considering they expect someone to wait like half a year to catch a Bagon in the Safari Zone in HG/SS I wouldn't put it passed them.
