Disco Bull, Blade Dragon, Drill Mole and Electric Tarantula look awesome. Actually I like all of the designs of all of the new pokemon so far! I have even got used to the Fire Starter evos!

Nah. They'll only get sued once the first person beats the game and Aloe comes up to you and asks if you'd like some fried chicken.

*cough* Dialga is Steel/Dragon *cough*

Isnt Afro Break kind of a racist move? What about Aloe, black woman dressed like a cook looking like an 18th century slave woman.

Call me a Negative Nancy if you'd like but didnt Gamefreak/Nintendo/Pokemon/whatever got sued back years ago just becouse Jinx had black skin?

I meant one that isn't immediately banished to Ubers tier like all legendaries of Dialga's caliber were.

Not going to lie guys, Tabunne is actually a little creepy.

I like Tamagetake's Clear Smog. I wonder how it works exactly? When it switches in, it's like an auto-Haze? That's pretty cool.

Reshiram and Zekrom's signature moves seem to get pretty cinematic under the right circumstances. Very nice.

By the way, the starter evo/Reshiram/Zekrom pages look fake to me. Reshiram's head crosses from the left page to the right page (without distortion at the spine). That's not so bad by itself, right?
But the page numbers at the bottom say 14 and 15. Firstly, they're on the inside of the pages rather than the outside. Secondly, they're not in the same style as the page numbers on the other scans. And finally, the Japanese read from right to left; 14 should be on the right, and 15 on the left (see the other pages). Sure, they could have swapped the pages around after scanning, but then how do you explain Reshiram crossing both pages?
I'd say the pages are fake, or at the very least, not from the same magazine.

Yeah, I agree - this is weird. Those two pages are, at the very least, not from the same magazine.

And $10 that Aloe is going to have a Buffalon as her main Pokemon. Not that the painstakingly obvious "afro" and the fact that Japanese have the tendency to make such painstakingly obvious references had me think so.
Good call! I'd put money on that.

As for the new Pokemon, I love the deer (Mebukijika), the puppy (Yorterrie), and all the monkeys. Desukaan, Ononokusu, Denchura, and Futachimaru all look great in their official artwork.

I'm conflicted now. I love the water starter's first two forms, but hate the non-confirmed last. And the grass starter I'm the opposite - not a big fan of the first two, but the non-confirmed last one looked amazing.

Would Mohawk Break or Ponytail Break or Mullet Break be racist?
I think the Afro Buffalo is pretty cool .. that's how very curly hair grows if it's not cut off or processed to be straight.
I don't know what's up with the cook stuff because everyone in Dento's gym is wearing an apron also.
I guess they think Americans obsess about food ....lol

Yeah, a samurai, technically, probably wouldn't even be part Fighting, since the Fighting-type is based on hand-to-hand combat (then again, considering they are fixing that this gen with the construction clown Fighting-type, a Fighting-type samurai wouldn't be out the question).

I like Boiling Water. Such a cool flavorful move.

Yes! Boiling Water is such a long overdue move! I was wondering when it would be introduced; now I'm waiting for Frostbite inspired move for Ice!

I'm just hoping the full-evo's of the starters are fake, but it doesn't look likely...i have always started off with fire types, not anymore.

If we really end up with Grass - Fire/Fighting - Water, this is going to be the first Gen where I leave my starter in the box. At least we have some fuck-awesome new pokemons like the Bug/Electric (with its reliable Thunder), the Electric/Flying with what I think is a reverse-Gyroball (Jolteon got a HUGE boost, then. Guess who doesn't get one? xD), a fucking adaptability-Water-type (holy shit, imagine Waterfall in the RAIN) and the monkey trio (or are they gonna be four?) who are just awesome beyond description.
Well, strange generation, but it's gonna be good, I think. lol

I'm hoping he's just wrong on that one thing.

I doubt it, but I suppose he was wrong on the Shikijika evo. Maybe he saw the second evo's types and assumed they stayed that way through out their evolution... ugh, why am I kidding myself, I know they will end up pure Grass and pure Water...

@Sandstreamer: People who say that are oh so melodramatic. Regardless of their boring (or in the case of Tsutarja's, bad) typing, they will still be stronger and available earlier than every other Pokemon of their types you can get, and being starters they will at least have inherently acceptable stats. And really, how early a Pokemon is available plays a huge role in how useful it is for an in-game run.

Wow, I guess Melkor was right.

But I'm still not sure about whether or not old pokemon will be featured. How can you not have Tentacool? Also, Mananbou is a Luvdisc evo, Baffuron is a Tauros evo, Yuterrii is a Growlithe prevo, and I'm not sure but I wouldn't be suprised if Basauro was a Carvanha prevo.

All I know is that my BW team is fire pig, the mummy, the electric spider, the disco bull, the frog thing that Melkor told us about, and the Judo guy.

Afro Bull, Electric tarantula, and Mummy are the coolest pokes ever.

I'm guessing Pokabu3 will have a build similar to what we were predicting, but now it will have STAB Fighting. I think that's different enough from Infernape to make it useful, but ultimately it will be a lot like Salamence vs. Dragonite. Fire/Fighting is actually a pretty decent defensive typing in the current metagame, resisting Scizor's and Heatran's STAB, threatening both with its own STAB. Anyone else think Pokabu3 will basically be Swampert, with a little stat change? 115 / 110 / 90 / 75 / 85 / 60 might be interesting. As for Tsutaja3, I think we all know it's imminent comparison to Sceptile. However, I think it'll be slower and more specially bulky; 75 / 60 / 85 / 120 / 105 / 85. Mijumaru3 seems like it'll be like Floatzel, with less speed. 85 / 110 / 80 / 80 / 75 / 105. I'd rather it have a similar spread like this than be another bulky Water-type. If Pokabu3 actually turns out like that... I might choose him, despite his appearance. I'm a sucker for tankish starters (Blastoise > Feraligatr > Swampert > Torterra).

Noooo... During evolution, Porky3 has a moral dilemma, goes insane and turns Fire/Dark. A slightly bulkier Physical Houndoom. But good.

I very much agree with the ideas behind these spreads. These are pretty much what I had in mind about how they would work-- Pokabu3 would be like Swampert, Tsutarja3 would be like Roserade, and Mijumaru3 would be like Floatzel as far as stats are concerned.

I don't think the 'fake' scan is fake, just from a different magazine. At any rate, Corocoro itself shows Pokabu's evo and suggests it's useful against Aloe, so we're stuck with the old Fire/Fighting again it seems. Ah well, hopefully this time we'll get a bulky version of Infernape with less power, which could be interesting.

thank you CRASHiC lol i would have never figures that out, at least there is still hope that gf didn't fuck with us again this generation. if worst comes to worst im just gonna for get about my started and let it rot in my PC and pick up one of those awesome monkeys lol.

You're wrong. As much as I want it to, there aren't any evolutions or pre-evolutions for any old Pokémon.
Mamanbou isn't Luvdisc's evolution
Baffuron isn't Tauros' evolution
And Yooterii and Basurao is definetly not Growlithe's and Carvanha's respective pre-evolutions. Yoterii got two evolutions.
