I could see both shelgon and metang being really successful using this item.
I don't see either doing anything significant in OU with those offenses. Shelgon's got a nice typing and bulkiness + DD or Claw Sharpen, but it wont do much after 2 DDs besides an Outrage and dying. If any competent Draco Meteor/Outrage is around, Shelgon's kinda screwed. Maybe it'll be good at luring other dragons.

Better than Kurimugan, though.

I've been using swords dance Scyther with the evolution stone with a 252 atk, 252 speed, jolly nature and he has been awesome. It makes him really bulky and less frail compared to before. He also makes Breloom look like a total noob as he is 4x resistance to fighting and grass attacks. I then swords dance infront of Breloom's face and proceed to destroy.

Lol? Scyther owns Breloom if he doesn't have stone edge. Most Brelooms don't have stone edge anyway, so what are you talking about?....And yes, the player I faced knows how to use Breloom, with a subpunch seed bomb set, which does nothing to Breloom. Swords dance mach punch does nothing either.

EDIT: LOL SUBPUNCH BRELOOM WITH SEED BOMB! Can't believe I overlooked that! You say that guy 'knows how to use Breloom'? Fail. Epically, because as soon as he subs, Shandera's coming in, and he better pray it's not a setup Shandera because Seed Bomb =! taking down any form of Shandy. He's screwed his set, if he's gonna run an inferior form of Breloom he should at least do it right. He needs (1) To ditch Subpunch and Seed Bomb (2) To get technician, mach punch, bullet seed, and stone edge. (3) To pick between spore and sd, it's one or the other, not both (4) To ditch toxic orb (since he's probably running poison heal) and pick up a focus sash (lead) or life orb/choice scarf (else).

any decent breloom runs edge to prevent things that resist the STAB grass/fight combo (see: ALL FLYING TYPES, ALL POISON TYPES) and shandera from getting a free setup against breloom once spore's been spent. you've been facing crappy brelooms.

somewhat on topic: Shroomish has an interesting ability this gen... and spore... and access to prevo stone... hm...
 
SubPunch Breloom is actually pretty dangerous even in 5th gen. While I swapped to a Technician set (I needed a backup revenge killer for Doryuuzu if it gets a SD), it can seriosuly mess shit up if you save your sleep for the right target and run Stone Edge to take out Shandera.
 
I guess they need stone edge then. But honestly, people rarely ever run stone edge. Probably a must now with Shandera around, but that crappy accuracy is dumb. You're underestimating the normal subpunch set bro, it rapes face. Its an old set, but it does what it does.
 
I've been running a Bold Bayleef on my PO team with max HP and Defence I believe and its pretty awesome. After a Reflect/Light Screen, not even Onokorusu's Outrage hurts him and with Giga Drain and Leech Seed, I just absorb health back like I have Leftovers. Pretty fun.
 
Okay so right now, I am running a:

dusknoir
leftovers
pain split
will o wisp
shadow sneak
ice punch

I enjoy Dusknoir, hes saved me and took out up to 2 or 3 of my enemy pokemon multiple times by himself. He has revenge killed for me a bunch too with shadow sneak. And most of all, he actually does pretty good against shandera, as I predict the shadowball and use painsplit, bring shandy down to %40 or so (after he was hit with stealth rock damage), and then kill him with a shadowsneak. Overall, hes done quite well.

But then, it hit me yesterday that maybe I should be using a dusclops with Prevo stone? I mean, the thought crossed my mind before, but I just assumed I would be better off with more power and left overs.

So I am just wondering, does anyone think the leftovers + more power with dusknoir is worth it in comparison to running a dusclops with prevo stone? I mean, both have pain split too, so recovery doesnt seem to be a problem....

The short answer is, it depends on your team.

I used both briefly, and I preferred Dusknoir, but I'm sure there's teams, movesets, and situations in which Dusclops is the better option.

Yeah. Part of me says it is completely worth it because Dusknoir is my wall anyways, and when it comes down to it, Dusclops is the better wall, just lacking the leftovers sucks.

I was thinking a clops moveset would be something like

WilloWisp
Pain Split
Disable/Confuse Ray
Nightshade

Probably a better build for walling an enemy team than my Dusknoirs...
 
Dusclops gets props as the only ghost able to spinblock Doryuuzu. However, I really think that both Clops and Noir are outclassed by better Ghosts like Burungeru.
 
Here's something the prevo fans might appreciate. It's quite long, at 50 turns, but during those 50 turns this pokemon is enduring an insane amount of hax and ditto (twice) to boost and win.

I don't wanna say they are outclassed... they are both good walls, and they both do seperate things. Willowisp on the Dusc's while Burungeru has Boiling Water. And the duscs may not have recover, but they do have painsplit which is pretty good overall. Also, Shadow Sneak coming from dusknoir can really finish off anything he whittles away at with pain split + burn.
 
I have been running Porygon2 @ Evo Stone on all of my teams so far on Pokemon Online. I tried an Evo Stone combo with Calm Porygon2 and Bold Slowbro. Yeah, I thought at the time that Evo stone worked with Slowbro...

I have yet to try Dusclops. It is tempting to make a bold set to go along with a calm Porygon2 set.

Dusclops can give burns, and pain split the enemy for more damage + healing, and running something like disable can stop the enemy from setting up calm minds and what not. Not to mention hitting the enemy for 100 damage a turn with nightmare... I don't think dusclops is horrible at all. And comparing them to farfetch'd and sunkern is kind of extreme.

To say he can't do anything back to an enemy is completely underestimating him in my opinion.

A wall needs to be able to do something back to what it's walling. And if it's not got Lefties, it needs to have a recovery move.
Dusknoir is not at all like Sunkern. It was an excellent OU in DPPt, only dropping in usage because Rotom-A was better.

Dusclops can hit things; it just has some limits to its options. Will-o-wisp allows it to threaten physical attackers regardless of its attacking power, and Pain Split lets it heal effectively.

You'd be surprised. Night Shade is surprisingly good as an attacking move (basically... perfect coverage on everything but Chansey and Meloetta, among other lesser-seen normal types).

Dusclops is a demigod when it comes to setting up TR due to its Ghost-typing.

EDIT: Yeah so after a bit of playing (I got to under 100 rank a small while back; peaked at around 64), A specs Shanderaa failed to OHKO Dusclops with Shadow Ball. If that's not bulky I don't know wtf is.

Also, I've often had sort of mini sweeps with Dusclops; people will let it burn them and then I just use night shade until they die... it's really hilarious

Oh and also Dusknoir was a terrible OU. One of the cool parts about ghosts in 3rd gen was that they got physical shadow ball. Since then GF hasn't mad any sort of suitable replacement.
