Challenge The Scramble Challange

Status
Not open for further replies.
Reserved for Glacia.

I won't be able to give you your challenge now, but there will be a challenge soon.

EDIT: You get to start with Cool Dude the Charmander, now this ain't any ordinary Charmander, but this one is a Gangsta! He must be the highest leveled Pokemon at all times, must know & keep 2 Fire Type moves, & must solo every Rocket Grunt you encounter in the game. At the Rocket Hideout & Silph Co. He must solo the entire place without dying, (You don't have to solo your rival with Charmander in Silph Co.) saving, or going to the Pokemon Centre. Should he die during these two stages, you must SR without saving & level up Charmander one level to ensure it doesn't happen again!

Recap:
-Charmander named Cool Dude
-Highest leveled at all times
-Must know & keep 2 Fire Type Moves
-Solo every Rocket Grunt in the game
-Solo Rocket Hideout & Silph Co. (Excluding Rival) without dying or saving (You may save beforehand) or visiting the Pokemon Centre.
-If he dies during these stages, SR & level up Charmander by 1 before reattempting

Have fun.

As soon as you get Cut, cycle to Fuschia and go to the Safari Zone. There, take a Pinsir and name it Pincer. It cannot use Swords Dance, Hidden Power, Earthquake, Rock Slide, Return, Focus Pawnch, Endure, Substitute, or Flail. It has to solo ten pokemon belonging to your Rival at some point, champion battle included.

UPDATE on my emerald scramble.

Challenges:

1.
@BlocksRcool, your starter is Torchic. It so badly wishes it could learn Fly! Alas, it can't. However it hates that it is a Fire/Fighting type, therefore it can only know one Fire and one Fighting move at a time (its remaining two move slots can be any other type), because it refuses to learn! Soft-reset until it is Female. Nickname it HM02

2.
BlocksRcool gets my signature Flapper the Cheri Berry Zubat. It must hold a Cheri Berry to fight, if it loses it mid-battle, you must switch it out. It can evolve into Golbat Whenever, but to evolve it into Crobat, have it solo 10 trained Grass Type Pokemon (Watch out for Stun Spore!!!).

Have fun.

3.
BlocksRcool gets an Oddish. This Oddish must know Acid, Giga Drain, Stun Spore and Rest, and must solo three trainers in Juan's gym.

4.
BlocksrCool-Take a Jigglypuff. Teach it Pound, Sing, Rollout, and Rest. It can forget Pound eventually, but not the other three. Can't evolve until it gets Rest by Level Up or reaches Lilycove City. Has to solo every Pikachu, Pichu it sees.

5.
Recap:
  • Get a Timid Whismar, NN Snookums
  • As a Whismar: Can’t use STAB, can’t use or be hit by sound based moves (if you do get hit, you must ether switch out or use a healing item), cant enter trainer battles.
  • As a Loudrod: Can’t use or be hit by sound based moves, can’t use STAB.
  • As an Exploud: Can only use STAB moves, Cant use or be hit by sound based moves.

6.
ok heres your surfer
you must take a makuhita from the entrance of dewford cave and escort it at the front of your party to the back room where steven is. You may switch in other pokemon to battle but it must be in the front of ur party and must not die. From here it must retain arm thrust and belly drum ( when it learns it) after beating dewford gym, you realise the makuhhita had a fear of flying types, because of this you must not fight any flying types and it must not evolve until you solo winonas altaria with your makuhita. After this point it may evolve into a hariyama. It must also defeat on of wallaces pokemon. Enjoy!!!

The Team is:

Flapper the Zubat @ Cheri Berry (Female) Level 7
Rash (+SpA -SpD)
Inner Focus
~Leech Life
~Supersonic

Well, I just caught him, so hardly anything's happened. Helped me catch makuhita though.

Snookums the Whismur Level 10
Timid (+Spe -Atk)
Soundproof
~Pound
~Uproar

LVP for the moment due to him being attack-less and not being able to participate in trainer battles. Plan on training him later when he could actually be useful as a loudred.

HM02 the Combusken Level 20
Lonely (+Atk -Def)
Blaze
~Scratch
~Double Kick
~Peck
~Ember

Well, this is pretty standard, MVP for soloing everything up to this point.

Makuhita the Makuhita Level 8
Careful (+SpD -SpA)
Thick Fat
~Tackle
~Focus Energy
~Sand-Attack

Just caught him.

Computer issues are stopping me from doing this, so i probably can't play for a week.

Glacia, you get the evilest of evil Pokemon.

Porygon. You must acquire it as soon as you have access to Celadon City. And no you may not use the nugget trick! As soon as you receive it, it must be within 3 levels of your highest level Pokemon, or you cannot fight gym leaders for any reason.

Goddamn anticipation.
@DetroitLolcat: LeafGreen exclusive. Try something else.

@Sprocket: 500 coins = 10,000
So were talking about 200,000
Classifies as trollish request.

You get to start with Cool Dude the Squirtle, now this ain't any ordinary Squirtle, but this one is a Gangsta! He must be the highest leveled Pokemon at all times, must know & keep 2 Water Type moves, & must solo every Rocket Grunt you encounter in the game. At the Rocket Hideout & Silph Co. He must solo the entire place without dying, (You don't have to solo your rival with Squirtle in Silph Co.) saving, or going to the Pokemon Centre. Should he die during these two stages, you must SR without saving & level up Squirtle one level to ensure it doesn't happen again!

Recap:
-Squirtle named Cool Dude
-Highest leveled at all times
-Must know & keep 2 Water Type Moves
-Solo every Rocket Grunt in the game
-Solo Rocket Hideout & Silph Co. (Excluding Rival) without dying or saving (You may save beforehand) or visiting the Pokemon Centre.
-If he dies, SR & level up Squirtle by 1 before reattempting

Have fun.
Enjoy!

EDIT: Didn't say whether he could evolve or not, so yes, he can evolve.

@Texas: Sorry for fucking you over, but could you repick a pokémon?
RAEP and Cool Dude were neck and neck for a water type place on the team. I chose Cool Dude because hes a gangsta. Plus Magikarp learns flail at level 30 :/
Don't worry, I change mine to a Charmander, same restrictions. (Replace Water with Fire)

Okay, I'm changing my pokemon to Tauros. It must be caught after getting Cut and never use: Return, Double-edge, Earthquake, Hidden Power, Sleep Talk, or Iron Tail. It must solo 10 Rival pokemon.

Fire Blast's Platinum Scramble Challenge Uptade #2

Challenges started:
Bidoof the Bidoof
-to evolve must solo gym & learn 2 HM moves
-After evolving must keep within the top 3 pokemon as far as levels
-must solo Bertha of the E4
-must have the ability Simple

Water Boy the Chimchar
-must always be the first pokemon in party when surfing
-cannot use fighting-type moves (including status moves)

Summary:
I found Roark hiding in the mines and trained my Bidoof there. Training Bidoof was easy becuase I taught it Rock Smash. Once Bidoof reached level 14 I attempted to beat Roark by using Defense Curl twice against Geodude and then using Rock Smash. However Cranidos was able to KO me. After failing to solo Roark with Bidoof I trained Biddof some more, untill he was level 16. I was able to KO Geodude, but it got a crit on my Bidoof. I used a Potion and then killed Onix. I got Cranidos down to low HP with Rock Smash, but the next turn I flinched due to Headbutt. We both used a potion and then I finally KOed the Cranidos. After beating Roark I went to Jubilife City and beat the Galactic Grunts using Chimchar. On the way north to Floaroma Town I trained Chimchar against the many grass and bug trainers.

Current Team:

Water Boy the Level 16 Chimchar (Female)
Adamant (+Att, -SpA)
Blaze
-Scratch
-Fury Swipes
-Ember
-Taunt

Bidoof the Level 17 Bidoof (Female)
Adamant (+Att, -SpA)
Simple
-Headbutt
-Rollout
-Defense Curl
-Rock Smash

@Glacia: Here's your Oddish. It longs for the future and must be named either Monmen or Churine, after one of its Gen V counterparts. It may only know moves that it is possible for the Pokemon you named it after to learn. It must also solo at least one Pokemon belonging to every Gym Leader who shares a type with a Gen V Gym Leader (Misty, Lt. Surge, Erika, Blaine, Giovanni) unless it conflicts with another challange.

@Glacia
Bring a Krabby and name it Euserine. It may not evolve until it either a)kills any gym leader pokemon with Guillotine or b) solos any gym leader.
(You get 50 cool points if you do both in one go)

Accepting: Oddish / Monmen

I'll add Tauros as an option, but it's exceedingly rare and difficult to catch, so I'll be unlikely to get one.

Also:
Current Team: Oddish (Grass / Poison)
Charmander/Charizard (Fire /Flying)
Magikarp/Gyarados (Water / Flying)
Snorlax (Normal)

That makes 1x Grass, Poison, Water, Normal.
And 2x Flying.

None of these types, except for normal, may be repeated.

Which means Euserine is turned down.

Glacia, take a Drowzee. It may only evolve to Hypno if it solos Sabrina. It must learn and keep Poison Gas and must Poison at least 10 E4/Gym Leader/Rival Pokemon with it. If it can't solo Sabrina at the first go, it can no longer use Psychic moves. If it can, then you have no moveset restriction, except the one about Poison Gas, but you must use it to solo every Psychic Pokemon you meet anyway, unless it conflicts with any other challenge.

fine then, instead bring a Magnemite and name it Eucerin.
To evolve it must use Thunder-wave to paralyze every member of the Celadon City Gym. You may not leave or use more than 2 items on it during this process.

Qwertyuiop's Platinum Scramble Challenge Update #1

Challenges started:
Useless the Pachirisu
-May never be lowest member in party

SurferDude the Piplup
-must always use Surf as soon as it is sent out

Summary:
Took Piplup from Rowan, and battled with Barry's Turtwig. After an incredibly annoying battle that involved him using Withdraw six times and Piplup using Growl the same number of times, I managed to win. I discovered that Piplup had a Brave nature (+Atk, -Sp). Okay, I guess. Taugh Piplup the Return TM I got from Rowan. Trained Piplup to level 16 and evolved it before facing rival the second time and OHKOed Starly, and 2HKOed Turtwig. Went to Oreburgh, and found Roark in the mines. Trained Prinplup by killing several Ponytas, which gave good experience. At the end of the training, Prinplup was level 20. It OHKOed every Pokemon in the Gym and I got my first badge and the Stealth Rock TM, which could prove to be useful. Returned to Jubilife, destroyed the Plasma Grunts, and proceeded to Floaroma Town, avoiding trainer battles. After searching in the Valley Windworks, finally found a Pachirisu, which I caught and NNed Useless. Since it must not be the lowest levelled member of my party, I used it to battle the trainers I had avoided and finally, levelled it as high as Prinplup. Thereafter, I went to challenge Mars with my team, and Prinplup OHKOed Zubat and 3HKOed her Purugly. (First time Purugly couldn't kill at least one Pokemon of my team :D) Went to Eterna City after accompanying Cheryl in the forest, and decided to challenge Gardenia. I knew it would be difficult and I was correct. Prinplup used Pluck on her Turtwig, but it couldn't OHKO. That damned turtle set up Reflect. I switched out to Pachi, because both my 'mon were Lv 27 and if Prinplup soloed, Pachi would become the lowest levelled in my team. Of course, Pachi proved how useless it was as its first Sweet Kiss missed and that Cherrim Gardenia had PokeSaved set up Safeguard. Damn it, no confusion hax for me. I try to use Swift, which does pathetic damage, and get hit by Leech Seed. In the next turn, Magical Leaf brings me to low health, but I crit with Swift and faint Cherrim. Roserade paralyses Useless first, and its Magical Leaf KOs in the next turn, without me being able to damage because of paralysis. Luckily, Prinplup's Pluck takes Roserade to 1/4th health, and the damage it does by Magical Leaf is restored by Roserade's Sitrus Berry, which Prinplup's steals by this move. Gardenia uses Super Potion, but since I have more than 50% health, I decide to go on the offense. Two Plucks later, Roserade is fainted and I win the Forest Badge, and get Grass Knot, which is taught to Prinplup.

Current Team:

Useless the Level 27 Pachirisu (Male)
Bashful (No change)
Pickup
-Spark
-Swift
-Sweet Kiss
-Cut
Almost exactly what its nickname suggests.

Surferdude the Level 27 Prinplup (Male)
Brave (+Att, -Spd)
Torrent
-Grass Knot
-Bubblebeam
-Pluck
-Return
Definitely my MVP.

I have used a Geodude as an HM slave for Rock Smash, so that I don't have a crappy move on my Prinplup (which had to solo everything but the forest). It has never been used in any battle, not even to heal my Pokemon.
