That's what I always hated, wanting something really simple and getting nothing but ridiculous trades. I rarely find anything good when I search so it comes down to offering and hoping someone goes for it.

On the other hand, I got a second Victini in exchange for one of my extra Zorua babies, so it's really hit and miss.
 
I hate the GTS because I can't get any pokemon I don't see (i.e. Mew, Lugia, Suicune before the event, etc.)...which means there aren't that many pokemon I do see, but I don't get it and want it. Still, out of curiosity, and because I needed to fill the Sinnoh dex I tried looking for a female Burmy/Wormodam. I remember people wanted stuff like Mew and Palkia for it.

Just caught a shiny, timid buizel with max SPA ivs. Looking at this thing's movepool and stats, it was obviously designed to be physical. God hates me. If anyone wants it, i'll give it for free.
 
Ammen, haven't seen any shinies yet... but the gods of games have a terrible sense of humor O.O. I remember the gift dratini in SS having extremespeed then seeing it had a timid nature... *sadface*

They generally are, I remember two I found naturally, a zigzagoon in ruby (first pokemon I capture in that game) and a golden luvdisk (which was because I was farming heart scales using covet, lots of luvdisks...)
 
Oh god... I remember a horrible day back when Sapphire was the new thing, and I was ev training latias in Special Defense on Tentacool, and I wasn't paying much attention since I was furiously mashing the Thunderbolt attack button, and then I accidentally killed a shiny Tentacool. fml. Worst day ever... lol

Hahaha I got a jolly gift Dratini from the Dragons Den. The nature for it is random not set.

I remember I found a shiny Mawile in ruby, and that was it Dx
 
Where can you get repeated Trainer battles post-game? I know the Elite 4, the Stadium and Court in Nimbasa, and the Royal Unova. Anywhere else?
 
Not seen any shiny in white yet. Only ever saw in pearl and I killed it by mistake instead of throwing a pokeball in panic.

Throw balls at it. Its catch rate is much higher than most legends, so you should have a relatively easy time of it.
 
Got my flawless Lonely Zekrom (in a Luxury Ball), and it only delayed my playthrough by a few hours. My first RNG'd Pokemon in Gen V! :D


Now where can you get some EV reducing berries?
 
Alright, going through the Moor of Icirrus at the moment with the following:

Galvantula: Lv38 Slash/Electro-Ball/Signal Beam/Gastro Acid
Serperior: Lv38 Tackle/Leaf Blade/Leech Seed/Coil
Cofagrigus: Lv38 Grass Knot/Haze/Will-O-Wisp/Hex
Vanillish: Lv38 Uproar/Ice Beam/Taunt/Flash Cannon
Carracosta: Lv38 Aqua Jet/Smack Down/Crunch/Curse
Scrafty: Lv40 Sand Attack/Crunch/Chip Away/Hi-Jump Kick

Things chugging along smoothly...Galvantula would have Thunder, if not for Unnerve...Should I get Thunder anyway? Also, Should I use Shell Smash over Curse on Carracosta? Any flaws that should be addressed?
 
Got a Modest Reshiram with these stats: 31/xx/11/11/29 /31 after a few hours

:(

Should I still keep it or try for another?
