One question: too use the search ivs feature in the rng reporter they must be the exact ivs (in which case ar would basically be required (due to the number of variations having every stat off by 1-2 in a normal iv calc online?)
Yes, you need to press it quickly to remove it. It affects it as the C-Gear is not fully activated until you press "yes" and tap the touch screen.OK I get it.
But whenever I press on Yes, there's always that Warning message that will pop up.
Do I also have to press the touch screen quickly to remove it?
Does that Warning Message affect the RNG?

Still wondering about this... If no one knows, I'll be testing it soon.Does anyone know how much Sweet Scent advances PID on water?
Sorry, I think I didn't explain well enough. I got tired of using a timer, and I found that my "A-mash delay" was 1296. If I want to hit a target time with that delay, is it when I say Yes at the Continue screen, after, or at the loading/SR?
Okay, so let me just get this straight for myself:
It isn't known how turning it on at the continue screen affects seeds.
If I button mash, I have to quickly hit Power and Yes in-game and find a new "fast" delay.
OK I get it.
But whenever I press on Yes, there's always that Warning message that will pop up.

ok i have an ar with iv check code. If im calibrating do i wait at the ar screen till the first timer run out and then start the game?
Fine, you can button mash if that gets you results you like. But there are two reasons we teach people to use two-stage timers -- a) more control and b) more opportunities to hit seeds with good spreads on low frames.
If you insist on it, I better not hear a single peep out of you complaining about how many times you have to walk around to advance your frame.
So this is my first time RNGing and I am trying to RNG Zekrom. RNG reporter says my target spread is on frame 22 so I looked and found the delay to be 1600. From there I get the time 15:07:53. When I enter 53 into Zomgtimer it gives me 0 minutes before target and 25.54 for a first time and a 27.451 for a second time. Once I set my time and enter the game, soft reset, say no to the c-gear, start it as the second timer hits I begin advancing frames. The C-Gear gives me an initial frame of 3, and then i move 128 steps with 2 pokemon, moving towards the PC in N's castle. That should add 2 more frames. Then I add 2 pokemon to my party for 14 more frames, so I am at 19. I then deposit two pokemon and depositing should have no effect on my frames. From there i take 128 steps back to Zekrom adding 2 more frames leaving me at 21. That's one frame before my target frame so I should hit 22 when i engage in battle with Zekrom right?
Edit: Also do I press yes on the C-gear when the second timer hits 0 or is it the battery draining warning thing that comes up after turning on the C-gear I'm targeting?
Yes.. but remember non-CGear is affected by AR and so is calibration. If you calibrate with an AR in, you always have to have it in, otherwise you wont hit the same thing.
thanks once again Toastplusone :). Now onto Volcarona.

Hi guys,
So far I've RNGed Zoroark and Reshiram. Going for Victini soon. I'm not bothered about hidden power type for Victini and I found a spread that is on frame 3 which would be ideal to go for but the delay is 2482.
Are higher delays generally harder to hit or is there not really much of a difference in this..? Two previous delays for Zoro/ Resh were 1723 and 1838 which are obviously lower delays.
Just thought I'd ask before attempting to go for it.
Only 2482? The delay for my Thundurus is like 6500.. However, I don't think it makes a difference mechanically but I feel the higher the delay the more likely I am to just tab around the internet and mess up my timing because I get bored lol.
Why is the first timer set to a time other than one minute. Won't that cause you to, for example, SR at 11:23:49 if your target time is 11:24:50
Alright so I added another frame before catching zekrom and the IV's i got were not only not the ones I wanted, but I couldn't even find search them on the seed to times thing. Any other suggestions? If more info is needed I can provide it.
When you are first calibrating to hit your seed, you need to encounter thatCobalionZekrom immediately after turning on the C-Gear. You can't do any frame advancements beforehand or else RNG Reporter's Seed to Time won't find the IVs that you get. Once you have your timer calibrated, only then should you start making any frame advancements.

By using repels.
Does anyone know where I can find encounter slots? And, is it possible to RNG shiny pokemon via C-Gear abuse, or no?
So basically I will know I have calibrated my time when I hit the delay I need ?
Edit: Because I've been over and under the delay for as many times as I have tried. Yet to correctly hit it.

Thanks! That's a great idea :] I still have these two questions, though, so if anyone can tell me, that would be very nice. Thanks in advance :D
