alright there's a new set of free champions. is there anyone out of this group that's really good that I should be sure to try?
 
irelia and corki are both really good

karthus and gragas are both extremely powerful and popular mid laners

ryze obviously is also strong but hasn't been seen as much lately
 
I main him. (Landing Q feels SO GOOD, and R to finish off stragglers from fights is icing on the cake) He's quite strong-make sure you poke, zone, CS, and watch your mana. Karth has a dangerous zone of control when he has mana. Without mana he's limited to pitiful 450 range autoattacks until he kills a creep. As such, getting an item like RoA or Chalice for mana sustain is crucial on Karth.

Also, your lategame is beast.

On Dominion, he isn't as good but has his advantages. Play him as either a bottom lane champ or a utility/CDR AP for top lane. Poke, then abuse your passive to initiate the initial windmill fight. ALWAYS take specced Revive. Not only is it good on Dominion in general (dying is not as bad as losing a point, besides you essentially get free health/mana when you use it,) but it lets you use your passive to "zombie initiate" windmill.

On Twisted Treeline, play him on SR and Dominion first for experience with him. He isn't as strong on Twisted Treeline, but he's still plenty of fun there IMO.



As for Ryze...he's 450 IP, his lategame is powerful, and he has a low skillcap. Just buy him regardless of whether you plan to play him if you like mages. I started with him.


I'm more interested in Zilean and Caitlyn this week, if only because I've been theorycrafting for them. Zilean also has his trolltimate.

I'm on the Dominion channel on euw a lot. I prefer it to SR now because it's just a lot less time wasted if you're team is shit. It's also a pretty nice community and the very top players mix with the new and lower ranked players a lot more than SR people.

+1, I also prefer the lack of gold farming phase and jumping straight to teamfights.

Very glad there's more Dominion love. Also on draft Dominion day, ban Shaco Amumu Yorick please the game is so much better without them

I've been taking a break from LoL but I picked a bad week to do so. Urgot got nerfed but still seems pretty strong
 
Gragas is definitely not a popular midlaner, and I wouldn't recommend trying to learn him in Zyra release weak because of how much he gets wrecked by her pre-blue buff.

This is a joke about how riot makes champions sometimes, like fiora, who's kit is very similar to Master Yi.

Alpha Strike = Fiora Ulti
Meditate = Fiora Passive
Wuju Style = Fiora passive w
Highlander = Fiora e

[Edit] They may not have all abilities matching, but many abilities made have similar effect, and most new champs copy older abilities. This is because there are only so many possibility for abilities. However, having similar kits to other champs is the joke.

wait this is hilarious because there'd be literally no offensive damage on this champ other than his autoattack

in a teamfight you would just smash your first on your QWER keys once and then right-click like crazy

passive that reduces incoming CC with the exception of knock-backs, knock ups and supression
q - spammable gap closer that acts as an aa reset and refunds mana if i last hit something
w - true damage steroid and passive sustain
e - some sort of stun/slow thing that's based on your % health and your opponents that perfectly blends your kit together
r - massive life steal 4 time ranged skillshot that procs sheen with each button press

and to top it off great stats!

my dream champion~~~
