Will the overall critical hit chance be increased in competitive battling? If you wonder why I ask this, read ahead.

A while ago I finished maximizing the "Poke-Amie" stats of an Eevee in order to evolve it into a Sylveon. I notice that with maximized PokeAmie stats, you not only get boosted exp, but your own critical hit chance seems to increase. Now when I land a crit the in-game text says something like "Sylveon is so in sync with you that it landed a critical hit!" This leads me to beleive the critical hit chance is increased when you have maxed PokeAmi stats.

Because everything in competitive battling is idealized (Ideal IV:s and EV:s are assumed, ideal happiness is assumed, there is some mechanic with Chatot and chatter and some other things), it seems reasonable to assume that every pokemon used in competitive battles will have maxed PokeAmie stats.

Now, I haven't tried battling against another player, so I don't know if this applies to wifi-battles. If you know anything about this, please enlighten me.
All bonuses from amie are in-game only; disabled on wifi

I read earlier in the thread that there is a rematch with Xerneas if you kill it or run away during the first time you see it. Where is this rematch?

What's the best way to check IV when you're soft resetting Xerneas? I also can't seem to find the nature in battle. Trying to think of a good nature too... Timid?

Can someone confirm that Knock Off receives the double damage boost even if the item held can't be knocked off? With 65 Base Power being doubled to 130, it seems like the perfect anti-Mega-Pokémon move. Especially since Steel no longer resists Dark. Pokémon that have Sticky Hold or Mega Pokémon clutching their precious Mega-Stones will be looking at 130 (195 with STAB) Knock-Offs, which could seriously wreck those who don't resist it.

Did machamp lose no guard? I've bred maybe 15 machops, and they've all been guts.

I'm not 100% sure of this but I read somewhere that they have changed the breeding mechanics so that there is an 80% chance that the baby will have the same ability as the mother... perhaps in an effort to make hidden ability breeding easier.

Has anyone found a way around the mega stones only being up from 8-9?

If you cant that means I have to wait a week

Quick addition, does serebii have a filter for just cleave moves?(Hits multiple targets but not everything, for thinning hordes in sub 4 turns)

This seems to be consistent with what I've found during my breeding

is it true the rumour that certain pokes had their stats reviewed?
any changes to stealth rock?
Alakazam's base Sp. Def is up by 10. Also, Pikachu appears to have gotten both defenses upped by 5 or 10. The first is probably a bad copypasta from the mega form apparently, but the second may relate to the new Pikachu game being announced on the 28th.

Hey I'm just wondering but are we gonna get a new breeding guide for x and y right, its just that as of now I'm not even sure if the masuda method works much less the egg moves of what I'm actually gonna try to breed.
Thanks in advance
