No reliable recovery, and while Steel is a great typing, it's weak to some common types (Fire, Ground and Fighting). Why is mega aggron uu with those defences and that ability?
Because it isn't used enough in OU for it to raise from UU, that's really the main reason, the tiers are based in usage and not actual usefulness, though the Pokémon being really useful may account for it to be used a lot.Why is mega aggron uu with those defences and that ability?

my friend wob did an excellent job at the explaining the ban reasoning on his article, here. You can also read the thoughts of each tier leader (at the time) here. But if you want a quicker response, it’s deemed uncompetitive because it completely removes the aspect of switching which ended up creating huge opportunities for the likes of Mega Charizard Y and Volcarona to demolish teams once their checks had been eliminated. The likes of Tapu Lele and Toxapex were forced to run Shed Shell thanks to its omnipresence and it was simply put unhealthy for the tier. What was the reason for the arena trap ban?
Both sides made sense, but the no-ban side, at least to me, made more sense, given how the two other users besides dugtrio were rather weak, and that the meta naturally changed during that time.
I have a question about a garchomp set. Would giving it the lax incense work well with it's sand veil on with tyranitar as a partner

Alright fair enough, I didn't realise Modest Earth Power did so much to Pex. Although it should be noted that without Taunt you can't beat Chansey, but yeah you're right. This is entirely incorrect. Steel-Z Heatran is most commonly seen lacking Taunt in lieu of Stealth Rock, for a plethora of reasons. Role compression is one, another is to ensure that after setting Rocks on the initial switch to Gliscor, you're able to take it out with Corkscrew after it next comes in on said Rocks, and you needn't use taunt to break Toxapex, as you should be running Modest, and Modest Magma+EPower+Magma Chip+EPower finishes off Toxapex without the need for taunt. Possibly the biggest reason is that whilst using Z-Steel or even Modest Flash Cannon, you're not dependant upon Taunt to check CM Clefable, which is, realistically, one of the biggest reasons to run taunt on Heatran in the first place.
FWIW, you should be using modest on Steel-Z Heatran as to aid with rolls vs M-Latios, Toxapex, and Gliscor.
teambuilder folders are in alphabetic order and idt you can alter thatCan I move my folders around in Pokemon Showdown? It would be really convenient for me lol

Heatran, Lando, Terrakion, Tyranitar, mega Tyranitar, mamo, mawile mega, Garchomp and Excadrill are all viable offensive rockersWhat are some of the best offensive stealth rockers? (id preferably want more than one)
To put it bluntly, no. They can pick up surpise kos, but a lot needs to go ur way in order to do that. Its more so a funny gimmick. Although if u really wanted to, you could maybe use fear in 1v1.Is FEAR Rattata viable on any tier? Just for curiosity.
No, it is a gimmick. At this point, if people see a level 1 Rattata, most competent battlers will recognize the strategy and be able to counter it. Considering hazards, ghost-types and priority all shut it down (which are common in most tiers), there is not a tier where FEAR Rattata is viable. When it was first a thing in Gen 4, it could maybe surprise a few people, but not nowIs FEAR Rattata viable on any tier? Just for curiosity.

just to clarify, this and any strategy that involves a lv1 mon is unviable and doesn’t even have “a small niche”. theres nothing this set can accomplish in a battle other than giving you a deadslot and it’s beyond a gimmick, it’s just badTo be honest; like OrangeGuru and Lil Infant Tylenol said, it's very bad. The only one FEAR Pokémon which had a small niche is togedemaru, but watch out, it's a gimmick set, especially in single battle.
