  • If you happen to need a sub for Adventure Games Mafia, I would like to be put on the list.
I'm probably the only one that doesn't think that that's so amusing, mainly because I have a tendency to get super-butthurt.

Anyway, it's not that I can't predict...it's that too often my mind falls asleep and I miss conclusions that are blatantly obvious to everyone else. Actual example: Keeping Magnezone in on a Lucario and going for the KO with HP Fire. I figure that if I can learn how the game is played, then the teambuilding aspect will fix itself to some extent because I'll know what to look out for.

Already some study has revealed that Water Absorb Jellicent is resistant or immune to every priority attack in the game, bar Shadow Sneak.
By the way vonfielder, are you working on the card game, shadow era by any chance? I ask you this because that game is awesome as well as addicting and it is the only digital card game I know of.
The post you just made is kind of the entire point I was trying to get across to you for the past 4 pages...:/
Lol I do what is written in your sig/avatar? a lot. If somebody is saying shit to me that I want to ignore, I just get a pained expression on my face and pretend I can't hear. I have hearing problems so it's plausible :D I've seen the image before, though -- what's it from?
By the way, PSW looked really fun and I regret being too lazy to really consider playing it because it seemed too complicated (also I was very, very sick). I'd play if you hosted another, but I'm not sure I'd be a match for LW's skills ;p
'The game ends just as commercial production of my virtual card game begin' :O interesting, elaborate (if you would like ^^;) please?
Ya sorry; my laptop had an utter meltdown and I've been trying to get it fixed. I'm on my parents desktop now. Lets talk if you're up for awhile?
i do admit that certain types of games can be considered art, but I think the interactivity that comes with it being a game tears away the potential of being a fine art. A fine art takes it's observer by the neck and forces them to understand and appreciate it's message and story, however something like a game where the player is completely in control lets the observer choose what message they wish to hear, that's almost impossible. If one man does not wish to experience a certain message, they can choose to avoid the path set by the game and direct it towards their own ideal scenario. In contrast, in something like a movie, the watcher is forced to observe ideals set in place by the artist
Ok, but how do you explain the flexibility of games' plots? What if something like Romeo and Juliet had an "alternate route" where nobody died at the end? Would it still be considered fine art? I consider fine art to be a medium that sends a true message to its appreciator, but I don't think video games could accomplish that due to their malleability and different user experiences.
all i wished for was a damn hamburger. Why doesn't geniesus give me a burger?
So is jesus like a genie? he grants wishes, doesn't he? He's a pretty lousy genie, none of my wishes have come true yet
oh did I say something about friends? I meant that I think you're a twat

Naw I'm sure we'll infuriate each other in debate for a while to come. If DK and I can be good pals, SO CAN WE
Just curious, what is your Google Docs email? I wanted to add you to a certain document I'm writing up for that PW mafia.
