i do admit that certain types of games can be considered art, but I think the interactivity that comes with it being a game tears away the potential of being a fine art. A fine art takes it's observer by the neck and forces them to understand and appreciate it's message and story, however something like a game where the player is completely in control lets the observer choose what message they wish to hear, that's almost impossible. If one man does not wish to experience a certain message, they can choose to avoid the path set by the game and direct it towards their own ideal scenario. In contrast, in something like a movie, the watcher is forced to observe ideals set in place by the artist
