For finding parameters, what should be the min/max values I put in for each parameter? OmegaDonut said that GxStat and VFrame should be 0 to 10 each, for instance, but what should the rest be?

Ehm, sorry to disturb you, but what are you supposed to do when DS parameters "change" themselves? I figured out a buddy's parameters; and the first two attempts, Timer0 was C7B. Then standard seeds didn't work, so we checked parameters one more time and Timer0 has suddenly become C7A. How is that possible?

I like the whole album. It's not really well known though, even some 311 fans don't realize there's anything before Grassroots. Great choice!

You said soft resetting leads to confusion; does that I will always have to start from the DS menu when RNG'ing with standard seeds? I'm just curious, because in that case I should start the game about one minute before the timer ends in order to hit the seed.
Am I right the parameters will be the same for my German retail cart once RNG Reporter supports European carts?
I'm pretty sad actually the most recent source code on codeplex does not work although there is already a parameters finder for my German version. Seems like there a still some bugs in the seed creation algorithm for German carts.

It's a Japanese Pokemon White retail cart, I bought it from an import shop. I did also try with two more Pokemon and their IVs and again, no results :/

Could I use the info that I got for when the new RNG reporter comes out?

Hi, I'm having trouble finding my DS parameters for standard seeds. I put in all of the necessary info, but I'm not seeing any results.

Of course I checked all of these things before. I know C-Gear will reseed the MTRNG and thus mess up the IVs. There is no doubt date and time are correct, so it must have something to with those four parameter ranges. I don't know what VCount et cetera means but isn't there something like some "usual ranges" that tell me I don't need to search for my VFrame after FF or so? Whenever I search for my parameters with the default ranges, the search is very quick (like 3 seconds or so) and ends up with 0 results. What are your settings for min\max Vcount, VFrame, Timer0 and GxStat when you search your parameters? Is it maybe dependant on my DS Lite's coutry? It is a German DS Lite, if that matters (I thought it doesn't because there are no regional limitations when using a DS Lite).

I just did so, but there was no result. When I choose "DS Lite (Real cartridge)" the reporter sets the parameter range to 50-70 (VCount), C60-C8A (Timer0), 6 (GxStat) and 0-F (VFrame). But it does not find any result, although I set seconds to 0-59. Also, I don't get what you mean with "your seed". I used the DS Parameter Finder and that does not even leave me a chance to search for a cheat. Am I completely missing anything? I think so.

Excuse me, but the Parameter instructions you gave are only for Non C Gear correct?

Hello, I read you help people find their DS parameters, so I have a question although I followed your instructions: What is the usual range für DS parameters? My computer was searching all the day with these ranges: VCount 0-FF, Timer0 0-FFF, GxStat 0-F, VFrame 0-F, and it didn't find anything. I entered the exact IVs, the correct game version and the full mac adress of my NDS Lite (DE). Since I even used ZomgTimer and did not soft reset but hard reset, I lowered range for seconds to 2 seconds into both directions (13 and 17 because I started the game from the DS menu at exactly 15 seconds). Do you have any idea?

I finally got on after all this time to see your message haha. But yeah school has really bee stuck on me like glue. I haven't picked up my DS until yesterday because I finally picked up White Version. Unfortunately, I haven't got a chance to play it yet lol.

It'll be a bit later than that, probably 6:30 or so, but I can be on. When I actually put it out there, I plan to give it a little better instruction than just here ya go.

Ok.. let me know if you have any suggestions. I took out the changeable update modes because I doubt anyone really used them. The suggestion has gotten better and you can get it by right clicking.
