5th Gen PRNG Help / Info - Latest: RNG Reporter 9.96.5, PPRNG 1.15.0

I don't understand what you mean. I need to know how many seconds the rain lasts before the PID is finished for the roamer, or better yet, the rough frame it lands on once the PID has been calculated. I don't quite understand what turning of the DS would do in that regard. Could you elaborate a little?
He means you should time yourself to figure out how many seconds it takes. Here's a picture (posted by Kaphotics) showing you where the IVs and PID info are generated. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/12206225/RNG/Roamer event generation.png

Still having the same problem, posted this a few pages back.

I'm trying to RNG the Larvesta Egg on Route 18, using RNG Reporter 9.80

MAC address is 001AE90BB92C
timer0 is C85
VCount is 0
VFrame is 6
GxStat is 6

I'm searching for HP Rock 70 on frame 2, Method 5 Standard Seed, Encounter Type Larvesta Egg, and I find one (31/31/30/31/30/30) on 01/02/2011 at 10:04:26, frame 2. However, I'm consistently getting IVs of 31/10-13/29/0-9/28-29/25-29. This isn't the spread I'd get with C86, my date and time are definitely right, and I can't find the spread anywhere. I've even search specifically for that spread on frame 2 and found nothing near my start time for timer0 = C85 or C86.

Where could these IVs be coming from?

Check frame 9.

You're missing some info in your post. Like the seed you've been inputting, your game version, etc. Also, VCount = 0? What's up with that?

Sorry guys, nevermind...figured it out. RNG Reporter switched to Black version on upgrade (I guess black's the default?) but I'm using english White version. 0 is just what's in my VCount box in the DS parameters tab, worked fine for RNG'ing Terrakion. Is that weird?

Extremely. There is no way for you to have predicted Terrakion's IVs if your VCount was 0, because VCount is (almost) always 60, and when it's not it's definitely not 0.

Also, by default DS Parameters search would not have found any parameters where VCount = 0. What most likely happened is that it was set to 60 while you searched for Terrakion, and between then and now the field was accidentally set to 0 somehow.

Seed IV's are 31/2/23/20/31/2
Male Munna parent IV's are 31/?/31/31/31/0
Ditto parent IV's are 30/30/30/30/30/30

The first egg I hatched, for which I didn't do PID advancements, has these IV's
31/2/31/30/31/0 Rash Female Forwarn Munna

I just can't find where this IV's are in the RNG reporter. Who can help me?

Edit: I checked with that Victory Road method if I had hit my seed, and I did. The first possible option RNG Reporter gives me is PID frame 5771 :')

Is the Liberty Ticket Victini included under the Stationary Pokemon Encounter type for Standard seed, or is it another type? I would like to know before I start to RNG him, thank you ^^

mesh together, only possible inheritance pattern:
R 31/02/30/31/30/00

SS/SS/FF/MM/FF/MM -- Rash whatever ability forewarn is and female.

Something you put is incorrect, because you can't inherit 4. Don't use Power Items.
I made a mistake with the seed it entered here, but I was looking for this:

31/2/31/30/31/0

SS/SS/MM/FF/SS/MM

You forgot to check the Ditto Parent checkbox.

You hit frame 57: Rash, Forewarn, female, matches IVs.
Just such a simple button, which I totally forgot. Thanks a bunch OD! :D Now it'll be a few mins until I can hatch my Shiny Munna. :)

How much does moving from one tile to another advance the PID? And if it is only a few steps, does it advance the regular RNG Frame? Exclude the turning around in your answer.

In the Shiny Egg finder, where it says Min Max Frame, would I need to but 8 down as this is the IV frame I want or do I have to go with min of 70 up to whatever I feel comfortable with and go through each seed until I find an IV spread?

It advances by about two per step, sometimes more. Whether or not it advances the IV frame depends on what value your step counter was on when you started the game. If it's on 127, for example, then even a single step will advance it.

The shiny egg finder only generates frame 8 spreads. The Min/Max frame column is referring to your PIDRNG frame.

Method of advancement: Turning
I hate Chatots and I can't do them with such a high PID advancement, as I lose count and kinda get… bored. I can't find out what I'm doing wrong…

Is it possible that the DW Maintenance has something to do w/ our Eeveelutions? I can't wait to RNG Espeon
The DW maintenance happens every Tuesday. They may be adding them now, but it's not being done specifically for that.

Turning is inconsistent, as I mentioned, but that shouldn't be affecting your IVs. You're missing your seed. Check adjacent seeds, make sure RNG Reporter isn't set to the wrong game version, etc.

I know it's a bit of a stupid ask, but could a timer0 column be added to the 5th Gen Shiny Egg page? Would just like to see which one I am going for when doing eggs
