(Archive) Small Objective Changes Thread

I'm sorry if this is in the wrong thread, but I was a bit confused as to which one I should post this in. In the item's database (http://www.smogon.com/dp/items/) there is an error on the description of the item DeepSeaTooth. The description says that both DeapSea items evolve Clamperl into Gorebyss, where as only DeepSeaScale does, and DeapSeaTooth evolves Clamperl into Huntail.

PS: Sorry if I made a stupid or obvious mistake.

Well I was looking for a spiker, and was reading the Roserade spiker analysis, and the last line seems a little bit out of place/ poorly worded. http://www.smogon.com/dp/pokemon/roserade, this is the line : "If you lack Hidden Power Fire, then powerful Fire-types such as Heatran and Infernape can deal with Forretress that try and Rapid Spin away your Spikes." This sounds wrong for several reasons. #1 It sounds like its suggesting you switch into a Forretress attempting to rapid spin with Heatran/Infernape. #2 Hidden Power Fire isnt slashed with anything, so why wouldn't you be using it?

Sorry if I missed something obvious in the analysis that makes this sentence needed.

This is probably so small that it doesn't even matter, but in Ninjask's OU Optional Changes the word obsolete is used incorrectly:
Roost sounds good on paper, but the lack of defenses makes using it obsolete.
The word obsolete usually means "no longer in general use; fallen into disuse"; but in this case it is used to mean "ineffective".

Thanks for catching that.

Team Options

Feraligatr really enjoys having entry hazards spread around the opponent's field since it helps it greatly in scoring needed KOs that it would otherwise not be capable of achieving. Drapion is excellent at achieving two layers of Toxic Spikes because of its sturdiness, while Froslass and Cloyster can fire out many layers of Spikes without much trouble.
Froslass is no longer UU

Froslass is actually not just mentioned in Team Options in that analysis. Thankfully, Feraligatr is currently undergoing an update which you can find here. I'll leave the Froslass mentions there for now. Thanks for bringing it up, though.

Overview

Froslass is a unique Pokemon, as she is the only Ghost-type Pokemon who can set up Spikes. Thanks to this unique attribute she can set up and block Rapid Spin at the same time. With this combination, she can set up entry hazards while blocking Rapid Spin at the same time.

Those two sentences say exactly the same thing, making one of them redundant. Either sentence should be removed.

http://www.smogon.com/dp/pokemon/charizard
Under the 'Opinion' section, last sentence.
"If you are in need of a Ground-type immunity, or Fighting-type resist, while also benefiting from a quick and powerful sweeper, Charizard is a definite candidate for a moveslot."

http://www.smogon.com/dp/pokemon/cresselia
Under 'Overview', 'Ubers' section, first paragraph, third line down.
"...can reliably defeat Dragon Dance Rayquaza, unlike Lugia, making her the pre-ultimate physical wall."

thanks. i don't even really know what that pre-ultimate is supposed to be... i changed it to penultimate but if somebody has a better idea ???

not sure if this is the right place to post this but here i go....

http://www.smogon.com/dp/articles/sunny_day_guide on this guide it says honchcrow is good for UU sunny day teams, but it is BL,and it also says roserade is good UU sunny day lead when it is not allowed in OU.

I'm not sure if this was the right place to post this, but i am just trying to help, and i am sorry if this wasnt the right place to post it.
