Help, Chimchar

Hi Guys im a newly registered newbie on the Smogon forum and i am very pleased to have joined. Anyway i just bred myself several chimchars and i was wondering what would be the best nature and ev training method to achieve a really strong Infernape.
These are the moves that the chimchars have at lvl 1 :
Leer
Blaze Kick
Double Kick
Fire Punch

Many thanks

Naive/Hasty if you want a mixed attacker; Jolly/Adamant for purely physical attacking (Choice Band/Swords Dance); Timid/Modest for purely special attacking (Nasty Plot). Pick the nature that appropriately accommodates whatever set you want to use. The slashes are there depending on what you want more: Speed or power.

Pokemon analyses found Here are helpful for figuring out what nature, item, ev's, moves, etc. you should use on a Pokemon.

Welcome to Smogon! Infernape is versatile enough that it can use several different sets effectively, but you're almost always going to want to use a Speed-boosting nature - Jolly for a physical attacking set, Timid for a special attacking set, and Naive or Hasty for mixed. For EVs, you once again want to max out Speed, and put the rest into whichever attacking stat(s) you're using.

Train Attack on either Route 1 or the dark grass outside Dragonspiral Tower - the latter is faster, but also a lot harder to keep track of how much you've done. Train Speed anywhere you can find Basculin (the water on Route 1 is good for this). Give it a Power Bracer (Attack)/Anklet (Speed), or a Macho Brace if you don't have enough BP to buy those.

I've been learning the metagame and I would like to make my first team. I was wondering if running a offensive core of two dragons a good idea? Like accidental greeds eb salamence and a cb dragonite. If so what would be some good teammates? I would think it would work like a dual fighting core, but I'm not sure. Anyways, thanks in advance.

A dual dragon core can definitely work. It would be nice to have a plan against stealth rocks(Rapid Spin user/Magic Bounce Pokemon) as they will break your Multiscale, as well as greatly limiting your dragons ability to switch in. You will also want to have checks that are able to handle Steel-Type Pokemon as well as faster dragons(like latios). Pokemon like Magnezone are really useful because they can trap Steel-Type Pokemon, while pokemon like Weavile or Scizor can revenge Dragon-Type Pokemon. It is also helpful to look here and see what Pokemon(s) wall/threaten your offensive core and figure out partners to deal with those threats.

Hope I helped, and if you still face troubles after building your team, you may want to consult either #ratemyteam or the RMT section for advice

Can somebody good at wifi battling please VM/PM me for team help? I'm not having a lot of success and I need team building help.
I don't play on WiFi but you could post your team here for advice

Im trying to build a new team core (mainly offensive) but im trying to step away from the standard cores so I was trying to think of one that has Momoswine as one of the core pokemon to build the team around. Anyone know what would be paired with him that could help check his weaknesses(im not trying to make a weather team).

yea i reaslie this however i dont want a weather team
I'm under the impression that to counter weather using a Tyranitar is a must.

Anyway, you can use 3 Pokemon that do good in weathers; Dragonite (rain/sun), Celebi (checks rain) and Heatran (sun), and then continue from there. You can choose any Pokemon but I just used those as an example.

New player: Need a little help..

I'm not sure if this is the right place for this to be posted but when I looked around other similar posts were told to come here first so here goes.

There is a small group of friends that has decided to have a small friendly pokemon competition. The interesting thing is that we did a sort of NFL style snake draft for our pokemon teams. We all have 9 pokemon + our starters that are valid for to build a team from and no one has the same pokemon. No ubers or held items are allowed. The games being used are leafgreen and firered exclusively. My team consists of Gengar, Vaporeon, Electabuzz, Golduck, Skarmory, kangaskan, vileplume, hitmonlee, and marowak.

As I said I am new but I have really enjoyed the game and I am looking to become a little bit more competitive. Again if this is the wrong place for this post I will happily and promptly move to the appropriate location.

If you're using FR/LG, then you'll probably want to ask in Ruins of Alph, where older generations are discussed.

Also, your post wasn't really clear on what specifically you want help with. If you want team advice, you should post your team in full detail (moves, EVs, etc.) and maybe check out the Past Gen Teams section of the RMT forum. If you want some other sort of help, you should specify what exactly you're having trouble with.

how do you get pokemon sprites to appear in your RMT? Is it through HTML coding? If so, could someone please give me the code
With the Pokedex # in-between, {PIMG}{/PIMG}, replacing the { with [ and } with ]. (sorry about that, but for whatever reason it wouldn't put the plain tags with no text. Some, as in a bunch, don't work, so go here for all of the animated sprites. Directions I guess for the page:
1. Ctrl + F for the Pokemon
2. click the Pokemon's link
3. Right Click -> Copy image URL
In post:
4. Use tags
and Ctrl + V to paste the link in-between the tags.
5. Enjoy!
