Also, is there any way to get LEGAL shiny pokemon without using an AR or cheating?

Action Replay is cheating. But like Trent said, you can RNG abuse, or you can also use the Poké Radar. If you are against cheating, I would highly advise RNG abuse, for getting good IVs and for shinies.

Would externally modifying the IVs of a bred Pokemon from Ruby/Sapphire make it illegitimate by detection? Or would it be a legal hack along the vein of hacking Selfdestruct onto a Pal Parked Snorlax?

Oh I just used the Snorlax thing as an example to compare. But I mainly asked because I wanted to see if there was a way to check the legitimacy of bred Pokemon from the games where you can't really abuse the RNG (pre-Emerald). I guess not...

What damage can 0 Sp Att EV Naive/Hasty Garchomp Fireblast (No Life Orb) do on all variants of Tangrowth?
Fire Fang is horrible...

If it runs 252hp/0spd 61.4% - 72.8% from Fire Blast, no Life Orb or EVs in SpA. This assumes a 31 in SpA.

Most sets do not run SpD natures or EVs on Tangrowth.

Why aren't the tiers being updated with dropdowns until September? Any specific reason?

Aww, hoping it would be higher damage. It was in a recent 67th streak Battle Tower that my 1/3 hp left Garchomp lost to full hp Tangrowth. I was hoping equipping Fire Blast would improve performance (1 hit ko).
Is it worth sacrificing some Att EVs and move them to Sp Att for a Tangrowth ko?

Update: Still would like to know ^^
The sooner I can decide to breed a Hasty/Naive Garchomp or not.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think it's so Smogon can allow sufficient time for all the battles that can possibly be played to be played before combining the final statistics and seeing, over a long-ish period of time, which Pokemon's usage is low enough to go down to UU, or for a Pokemon to move up to OU, etc. I could be totally off-base here, however, but I'm mildly sure this is why

Ok a morallity question.

Do you think people look down on you if you have legends that are caught in master balls?? (eg if you have a VGC team with Azelf, Rayquaza and Mewtwo on it all caught in master balls??)

I am asking because I am no good at RNGing and was going to soft reset for decent IVs and it would be alot easier and quicker to do by catching them with master balls while using a syncronizer to get the required natures.

So what are your opinions?

Thanks for any help given. =)

To be honest, I dont think that they do. It's all a question of whether or not you actually care lol; most players wont care at all, and on the off-chance that someone actually notices, they really wont give it a second thought. Just do whatever you think is most convienent for you B)

Wow =)
That is the best answer and quickest answer ever.

Thanks for that =)

I had this on PO

Crobat flew high up!

The foe's Mackogneur used Ice Punch!
It's super effective!
Crobat lost 208 HP! (58% of its health)

How can this happen? I'm in the air, he can't punch me...

Considering you can theoretically get unlimited Master Balls with enough time and patience, I don't think it matters.

My friend and I were talking about the Eeveelutions one day and we got to thinking, on Route 216 or Eterna Forest what evolution takes priority if the Eevee has maximum happiness as well?

This has probably been asked before, but I was not able to find anything of the sort on the Bulbapedia trivia pages.

I checked Eevee's page on Bulbapedia. It will evolve into Glaceon or Leafeon respectively, not Umbreon or Espeon.

What Pokes really benefit from having SR support in OU?

Im making a team with an Azelf lead and I want plenty of offensive sweepers that match with SR support.

almost any offensive sweeper, such as Nasty Plot Infernape and Dragon Dance Gyarados, will benefit from Stealth Rock support. In fact, every Pokemon in the game benefits from Stealth Rock support, but powerful sweepers such as the aforementioned Pokemon will especially enjoy it
