I don't know how Lugia is jealous of 77 Defense.

It's certainly a sturdy Pokemon, but it doesn't really compare to Blissey, or Lugia.

Looks like we got some really cool new Ice moves!

Physical Ice Moves:
[M556]: Physical Ice PP: 10 Power: 85 / Accuracy: 90 Effect: May cause opponent to flinch
-Seems really useful. Good accuracy, decent base power, and flinching is always fun.

[M553]: Physical Ice PP: 5 Power: 140 / Accuracy: 90 Effect: [E14B] (30%) Can cause paralysis.
-This one is a little wierd. Para from an Ice attack? If it's not an uber only move, it will be amazing for physical Ice pokemon.

Special Ice Moves:
[M524]: Special Ice PP: 10 Power: 40 / Accuracy: 90 Effect: [E120] Always is a critical hit.
-I like this one, it has lower base power, but always being a crit hit makes it decent.

[M549]: Special Ice PP: 10 Power: 65 / Accuracy: 95 Effect: [E14A] Sharply lowers targets speed.
-This one is probably my favorite. Lowering speed by 2 levels can be devastating to an enemy. Plus it isn't too bad attack wise.

[M554]: Special Ice PP: 5 Power: 140 / Accuracy: 90 Effect: [E14C] (30%) Can cause a Burn.
-Another wierd one, but it makes more sense like frost bite or freezer burn. Again, if this is a non uber only move, it will be amazing.

Only thing, is I have a feeling the Para and Burn Ice moves might be for the Ice/Dragon legendary. Since he is the third part to Resh and Zek, and they are Elec and Fire, it would make sense for him to get 2 Ice moves with the Elec and Fire status effects. Thoughts?

This is not about groudon and ogre, this is about toad and ninetails, now. I don't think that weather teams will be any more numerous after the initial excitement wears off anyway because they will still have the same faults as before, just without having to set up rain every few turns. They will be better, but an opposing ttar will still stop the strategy cold.

Of course he will, because he love taking repeated Surfs/Waterfalls to the face. Same as Suicune will stop Rain with Water Absorb while Thunders (possibly even STAB'd ones) will be flying around everywhere. What's wrong with you people? Ttar can probably stop Sun, but rain? No way.

Hello, I'm Here to tell that there are only 7 Move tutors on this game.

Blast burn, Frenzy plant and Hydro Cannon learned by the last evolution of all starters.

Draco Meteor Learned by all dragons.

There are 3 moves that are learned just by the starters. 1 for all grass, 1 for all fire, one for all water. Probably it's Grass, Fire and water Oath. But I'm not sure.

Soon I'll put here all Breeding moves.

Abomasnow, however, can take Thunders and Surfs like a champ.

zomg.

daikenki gets Encore, Swords Dance, Aqua Jet, and Megahorn and other physical attacks. can even run Taunt in place of Encore.

thanks for the reveals! 5th gen movesets are already beginning to take form!

I'd love it if we had a list like this for moves, too; I'll add the names to the first post soon.

Also, Maverick Hunter, you're going to be OK with doing egg moves, right? If that's the case, I'll start on RNG research.

I'll throw the list of Abilities I've been working on in here too.

[M550]: Physical Electric PP: 5 Power: 130 / Accuracy: 85 Effect: May paralyze opponent. (20%)

Meditate Electivire will actually be a serious threat now lol.

Also love how Swampert gets the Damp ability for Metagross.

A lot of these moves and pokemon seem to have crazy power I bet 5th generation will be even more offensive and speed centered especially with these monstorous pokemon.

^I'm pretty sure that move is Cross Thunder.

I believe [134] has been translated as Heavy Metal, while [135] has been translated as Light Metal.

And it looks like Miracle Skin is not Dragonite's ability; its name remains unknown.

Icicle Spear: Physical Ice PP: 30 Power: 25 / Accuracy: 100 Effect: Multi-hit attack. Attacks two to five times in a row. 37.5% for 2 or 3

YEAH! Skill Link Cloyster will be so much better now! It used to be 10BP, oh man did it go up!

This is going to be like a completely new metagame, almost everything has a new ability, a load of new Pokemon(who mostly seem to have offensively leaning stats, some of them have weird speed stats too), and the moves are SUPER POWERFUL :O

Edit: Now some comments on some of the improved moves...

Jump Kick:
100 Power (from 85), 10 PP (from 25) and Hi Jump Kick: 130 Power (from 100), 10 PP (from 20)
Looks good! I'm seriously thinking Hi Jump Kick is overpowered now though...

Tackle:
50 Power (from 35), 100 Accuracy (from 95)
Oh yeah, this will pwn early game :D

Growth: Raises Sp.Atk
and Atk one level.
This will be interesting...Growth Abomasnow anyone?

Thunder Wave:
Now hits Ground type foes.
Uhm...yay?

Bullet Seed: 25 Power (from 10) and Icicle Spear: 25 Power (from 10)
Cloyster will be happy with Icicle Spear :D

180 damage, 95 acc, Probably something like this
Forest Fire
The user burns a forest and causes damage. The user burns itself however.

I think Alakazam may actually make it into OU, with Magic Guard letting it use no-recoil LO, and if he gets that SpA/PhysD Fighting-type move he can easily get past Blissey, and he doesn't have to rely on Fail Blast to beat TTar. Something like Psychic/SpecPhys/Shadow Ball/HP Fire @Life Orb could be highly destructive. Oh god, please let him get that move. PLEASE.

I'll throw the list of Abilities I've been working on in here too.

[162] Victory Star: Accuracy of self and partners increased.
[163] Turboblaze: Same as Mold Breaker
[164] Teravoltage: Same as Mold Breaker

Cursed Body = Chance to disable move that makes this pokemon faint
Broken Armour = Defence decreases, Speed increases when hit by physical move
134 = "Heavy Metal" (English words in katakana)
135 = Light Metal (Raito Metaru :D)
Poison Skin = Poison on contact (not sure if more likely or not than Poison Point)
Regeneration = Heal small amount of HP when switched out
Miracle Skin = Evade status moves easier
Analyse = Moves more powerful if move after target
156 = I'm pretty sure this is only when opponent actually uses a status move on you. Pre-existing status won't be transferred.
Mischievous Heart = May give priority to status moves
Iron Barbs = Opponent damaged when makes contact (Don't know difference to Rough Skin)

Hope that helps.

Abomasnow gets Soundproof heh
At first I dismissed it as obviously worse than Snow Warning.
However, Abomasnow *without* Snow Warning could be useful.
It's typing does well against most bulky waters so you may be able to slot it into your team without affecting team members with hail.
Also, it'll be immune to Bug Buzz which may be worth something in some situations (specs Yanmega, Denchura).

Swampert with Damp! This will screw up some suicide leads. Metagross, Aerodactyl and the likes will not be happy.
Encourage is victory for Nidoking. He will have more use of that ability than Rivalry and Poison Point. Moves like Thunderbolt, Fire Blast and Ice Beam will all be stronger.
