Bug Reports v4 -- POST BUGS HERE https://www.smogon.com/forums/ps-bug-report-form/

Left clicking on the replay link in the uploaded prompt does not open the replay as expected. I feel like this is a bug because I remember it working differently a few years ago.
Example: If I click the link here it takes me back to the battle room and I have to middle click or right click to open the replay instead.

BUG STATUS: CONFIRMED - Chat (Client): The client automatically converts replay. links to pop it into a new room instead, and in this case it's just making you join the room it's already in. This should be changed for this particular popup.

Bug: Copycat appears to be wrongly implemented in Gen 4.

The Pokémon using Copycat is currently able to copy the move it last used, in chain, even if it was called by Copycat. See this replay for example:
https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen4ou-1770741344-alp4mus6vkkb2045f2hl0m11hiior06pw

However after testing it on the cartridge, it doesn't work that way. Check these videos for example:
https://streamable.com/2qv9c0

The Pokémon is able to use a move through Copycat once, but using it in succession leads the second use of Copycat to fail.

This old post from the research thread seems to agree: https://www.smogon.com/forums/threads/dp-research-thread-2-new.24516/page-5#post-496254

Thanks!

Rage fist's damage does appear to be increased by future sight, but the tooltip doesn't update to reflect it. One of these is wrong, not sure which.

If I use Power Split on an opponent I can't see my actual stat changing and that's fine because I can't know the Ivs and Evs of my opponent, but it doesn't make sense that if I use Power Split on my other Pokémon in Doubles it still doesn't show the change, I know the Ivs and Evs of my 2 mons so I see no problem in showing the actual "updated" value in that case.

Encore erroneously fails when used into Roar or Whirlwind in GSC, see below:

encore currently fails if used after being dragged in by a phazing move, seen here
according to beelzemon's testing this is correct in stadium 2 (except when the encore user was in during a roar/ww fail), and would have to be handled accordingly when changed
correct behavior, encore works
i forgot to put the roar fail case in the video but obviously encore works either way lol. ty waterwizard for mentioning this

I have tested this on an older fork of PS which doesn't reproduce the glitch, though at a glace I'm not sure what's causing this to happen.

Final Gambit in Trick Room while 1v1 makes the loser lose the battle.

We were both left with one pokemon, I used my Annihilape to take down their Tauros, I thought I won but somehow that granted me a loss

https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen9vgc2023series2-1773105527-5mgmibjajdj7q1iw6bdqocc0sekeot7pw
the user always faints first, regardless of TR being up or not. if 2 pokemon are left and both die as a result of you using final gambit, you lose the battle.

GriseousOrb is getting Knocked Off Giratina.
At Turn 67, https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen9balancedhackmons-1774107476-w4od6p39twwlze8wkyvx0n8xchy3pmlpw

Not sure if it's a bug considering that GriseousOrb was replaced by GriseousCore and the latter does NOT get Knocked Off. Still don't understand why both items are still in the games though... So either the mechanics changed from Gen8 to Gen9 or it's bug.

BUG STATUS: NOT A BUG, The Griseous Orb was changed to work exactly like the Adamant and Lustrous Orb’s, which have been able to be knocked off since Gen 4. Both items are in the game because the Core forces Giratina to be in its Origin forme while the Orb allows Altered Giratina to get the boost. (Karthik)

On turn 22 of this replay assist calling revival blessing gets interrupted by pursuit similar to baton pass, afterwards it never happens again despite the same conditions being met.
https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen9nationaldexag-1774718890

BUG STATUS: NOT A BUG, there is no game with Revival Blessing and Pursuit in it. You'd need to talk with National Dex mods to get the behavior changed (DaWoblefet)

Mirror Armor should not visibly activate on a killing blow that activates Cotton Down.

The only ability popups that should play here are for Gossifleur's Cotton Down in both cases. (video 1 with enemies alive to be debuffed, video 2 with everyone else on the field having Mirror Armor)

leavanny is a physical biased pokemon that learns leaf blade and seed bomb but not wood hammer or power whip. in the builder leaf blade is in the "usually useless moves" section instead of seed bomb
