Currently at 9-2 with 1583 points.... yeah I havent been playing that much. I think I battled Fishy, as I battled a trainer with the name Fish515, and if it was you then sorry about the hax...
I may have played far less matches compared to autumn (un)friendly, though I've been saving lot of my battles to my rom so I can record them later for youtube. my (un)friendly team has been doing quite well so far.

I Fake Out and Taunt his Whimsicott, while Conkeldurr Protects. He switches out Whismicott for Dragonite and I double target Conkeldurr with HP Flying and Close Combat for the KO. He brings Whimsicott back in, I switch out HItmontop for Metagross, he Taunts Thundurus with Whimsicott and I knock it out with Hidden Power. He paralyses Metagross with Dragonite's Thunder Wave and brings in Chandelure. I switch out Metagross for Hitmontop, and take a Fire Blast. I Thunderbolt Chandelure and get a paralysis while Thundurus is hit with Dragon Claw. I switch out Hitmontop again for Metagross, and Thunderbolt Chandelure for the KO. He uses Thunder Wave with Dragonite on Thundurus. He uses Dragon Claw on Thundurus and gets a critical hit for the KO. I hit Dragonite with Ice Punch for 70%~ and he has Leftovers item. I bring back Hitmontop, and go for Sucker Punch and Ice Punch, in case of Inner Focus. Sucker Punch doesn't KO and Metagross is fully paralysed. Dragon Claw finishes off Hitmontop so I bring in Cresselia for her first bit of action this game. Ice Beam KOes Dragonite for a 2-0 win! Good game.

I switch out Hitmontop for Tyranitar, and he uses Fake Out on Cresselia. Volcarona surprisingly uses Psychic, which has no effect on the Tyranitar I switch in. I switch Tyranitar straight back out for Hitmontop and take a Bug Buzz with Cresselia. Then, I paralyse his Hitmontop and take a Close Combat on my Hitmontop. He withdraws Volcarona and brings in Ninetales. I used Fake Out and Thunder Wave on it. His Sucker Punch fails. I go for broke now and double target Hitmontop, but he switches out to Volcarona. I hit it with Psychic and Close Combat which takes it into the red. I Sucker Punch Volcarona and use Psychic on Ninetales. I did predict Heat Wave but I think I have this game now. I lose both my mons to Heat Wave and it's 2-2. I bring in Tyranitar and Thundurus, while his Hitmontop comes out to play again. I risk it and go for the Hidden Power and Rock Slide. He doesn't Fake Out, and I get the double KO in a very good game. 2-0.

I Fake Out and Thunder Wave his Latios, but he Protects and switches out Krookodile for Metagross. I switch Hitmontop for Tyranitar, and Thunder Wave his Metagross while his Latios Substitutes. Metagross uses Meteor Mash on my Cresselia. Cersselia gets hit by Draco Meteor and uses Rest, and Tyranitar breaks Latios' Sub with Crunch. His Metagross hits Tyranitar with Meteor Mash and gets an Attack raise. I Protect with Tyranitar instead of going for Low Kick on Krookodile in fear of Bullet Punch. He doesn't Bullet Punch, but I still Ice Beam Krookodile and freeze it. I go for the double hit on Metagross with Ice Beam and Crunch. I switch in Thundurus this time in case of Bullet Punch and take it, but get critted. I go for the double hit again. He Protects with Metagross and Krookodile remains frozen. He then disconnects. 4-4. Funnily enough, this guy would have probably still defeated me, my selections weren't great. He had a Gastrodon in Team Preview so I didn't want to use Rotom-W, but he surely didn't pick Gastrodon as he had an easy switch in on Electric moves numerous times. Team Preview.. Ah well.

Sure enough, her Thundurus uses Thunder Wave on my Cresselia, but I get the paralysis on her Metagross. I Protect with Metagross, and switch in Hitmontop. Her Thundurus tries to paralyse Metagross but fails due to Protect. I now switch out Metagross for my alrady paralysed Cresselia, and she tries to paralyse Metagross again but hits Cresselia. I then Close Combat Metagross which Meteor Mashes me down. I bring in Metagross again. I go for Ice Beam on Thundurus, but decide to try my luck with Earthquake this turn and hope for a fully para. Thundurus actually uses Substitute, and my Earthquake knocks out Metagross. I break Thundurus' Sub with Ice Beam. In comes Gastrodon which could be a problem. I Fake Out Arceops, and Thunder Wave Samurott. I wasn't fully focused, I meant to hit his Arceus with Thunder Wave. Hitmontop takes a big hit. I switch out Hitmontop for Rotom-W, and Ice Beam Arceops. Which uses Fly... Samurott is withdrawn for Porygon-Z and is hit with Thunderbolt. Fly strikes Rotom for minimal damage and Archeops is hit with Ice Beam. I use Thunderbolt with Rotom again for the KO on Porygon, while Arceops Crunches Cresselia and faints to Ice Beam. Samurott comes back in along with Toxicroak. I double target Toxicroak with Psychic and Thunderbolt which knocks it out. Samurott had gone first due to Quick Claw, but I finish it off final turn with Thunderbolt and Psychic. 4-0, gg.

The largest number of disconnects that have happened to me have been by the Japanese, even to you?
I found the best way to deal with the Japanese players is to get creative with them. When I upload to youtube I'll have lots of entertaining matches to choose from. I learned the hard way during the (un)friendly tourney so if all plays out well then this should be fun to look back at. ranking in both my games are in the upper 1600s after 15-25 matches on each game. I cannot play while at work or my boss may fire me lol.
It seems to have got progressively worse as it goes on. i'm seeing more DC's from high rating players thats for sure. Wasn't really expecting much else though, even the threats of being DQ'd won't deter the common cheater.
It's taking me ages to find battles for this, somehow, I don't think I'll be posting a particularly competitive score this time around, unless I go home to good wifi, and play through the night.
Ok the japanese player from kanagawa with a 1642 rating that uses Cresselia - Hitmontop - Rotom-W - Salamence - Metagross - Volcarona is a sore loser it seems.
He had the upper hand throughout the whole match with Meta-Rotom-Sala-Volca until I started a crazy comeback from 2-4, leaving me in a 2-1 position after he misses a Hydro Pump.

My latest game was amazing, but my opponent disconnected. Very annoyingly.. If you face Lunar from South Korea, they are a dirty DCer who can't take a loss now that they're above 1700.

They then disconnect, very annoyingly, as this was a great game :( I really wanted to save it.
Just had a great game vs. a Japanese named HBK with Hitmontop/Volcarona/Rotom-W/Latios. Won 2:0 because of some prediction. Gonna upload the match after the tourney! I am at 17xx right now and my score is 26-5 and I only had 3 disconnects in which I won. I lost all 5 matches because of major hax from my opponents :s
I couldn't agree more with you. I nearly hit 1600, but a 5-match losing streak has brought my rating to ~1500
