Got back and played a few games. In which they continued to match me up with ~1650 Japanese players. Most of them were pretty tough matches. I think I should be around 1875, but the rating still updates slowly.

At some time I saw you defeated because all that confusion hits, but you played through it.
Also, poor Gastrodon at the end 8(
 
lol first battle of the day and I face a Japanese with a 1761 rating that uses Blizzard Politoed in Rain and of course, hits 4/4 and freezes my Ludicolo that doesn´t thaw out in like 5 turns...I would really love to change some of my movesets because I simply can´t deal with certain situations that cost me battles...

Game 23: 2-0 win (this was really haxy on both parts (but mostly my part). Glad he didn’t DC)

Game 25: 4-0 win
Game 26: 4-0 win (frost breath on anger point Tauros, but rock slide still couldn’t ko any of my leads)
Game 27: 4-0 win (against someone with a rating of 1225 lol)
Game 28: 3-1 win (forfeit, after taunting his cresselia, who was locked by tricking it a choice specs in swagger:P)
Game 29: 4-0 win
Game 30: 2-0 (hit 1700)
Game 31: 4-0 win
Game 32: 2-0 loss (had a lot of hax in the beginning, but in the and he got hax too)
Game 33: 1-0 win (got a crit in the end, which was needed I think)
Game 34: 4-2 win (forfeit)
Game 35: 4-0 win
Game 36: 4-0 win
Game 37: 1-0 loss
Game 38: 1-1 loss (time limit, he won with his chansey full HP against my scrafty full HP. Chansey had +6 evesian, guard split with cofagrigus and a substitute...)

Day 3

Game 40: 4-0 win
Game 41.1: 4-0 win DC
Game 41.2: 2-0 win (used a lot of pokemon with round, was funny to see)
Game 42: (after you waterspout, saw it already coming, because I wanted to use that strategy in the autumn friendly)
Game 43: 2-0 win (lvl 1 aron trick room, but I prevented trick room and so prevented aron from doing anything at all)
Game 44: 3-0 win (same guy as above, predicted the leads right and outpredicted him several times and won again)
Game 45: 3-1 win (forfeit, I hate battling guys with good teams who just start with battling. This was a pretty good rain team, but luckily I can counter those)

win - loss - DC: 36 - 9 - 3

I am probably on a rating around 1750, but the rating hasn't updated anything of this day. I ended yesterday on a rating of 1687, because of the 2 losses in the end.
 
Just woke up, won't be playing for the majority of the day but I'm trying to get a battle or two in break 1950. I currently have 1945 with 120 battles done.
 
Congrats cybertron to such a high rating.

My rating got updated overnight and now it´s stuck for the first 8 battles I had.

Am I the only one who kind of likes that the server doesn´t update our scores? I mean at least it makes people care a bit less about the score and enjoy the matches more.
 
This morning I have faced the same 4 people over and over:
ALE from Costa Rica
Rubén from Spain (not our Ruben, this one was using some shitty team at 1523)
Random Japanese with a VGC11 + Latios team @ 1700
Random Korean with Aboma/Azumarill/Toed/Ludi @ 1714

No other people. They are ALL d/cers if you play them. I'm about 0w 0l 12d/cs this morning now. I hate this game I swear.
 
GEC, maybe the server really puts you against oponents who DC a lot. Out of my last 22 battles, only 2 were lost connections, one was right away in team choice, the other was on purpose from the foe when I was winning.

I have 90 battles that count and less than 10 DCs total I think (probably 8), I lost my notes from yesterday morning of about 20 battles or so. I had 4 DC over the first 56 battles and 2 in the last 22 as I said.

Rating is somewhere in the 1700s, started the day with 1732/79 and I´m 9-2-1 today, only had battles against the Japanese.

Oh yeah, watch out for berry juice lv. 1 endeavor aron, you need three hits to kill it ;)

I´m not going to play the whole day, it´s absolutely beautiful and warm outside.
 
I faced the aron today twice in a row too (same opp). Won both. He never got the TR up he needed in those 2 battles :P.
 
I think at this time we're either facing stronger Japanese teams or discouraged players that will disconnect once they're down. I don't necessarily agree with this following post I saw over at zeldainformer about this disconnection problem:
Do you remember my post about this? Unless you want Nintendo to be running dedicated servers for the games, it can't be fixed; it's because they don't use dedicated servers and, I believe they use UDP transmissions. If they run dedicated servers they'll have to make up the price of that somewhere... and I really don't want to have to pay for that, nor does most of the fanbase I'd assume...

I got the same problem. I've racked up just this morning 5+dc, and only 2 wins. It sucks. I I was to get wins for dc's I.d be well on my way to 1800 but instead at 1602..
 
Exactly, same here. I've got a record of like... 4w 1L? Stuck at 1520~ lol, haven't budged in 2 days.
 
I'm usually not bothered about constant updates on how I'm doing. But I played an absolutely insane team just now, that confused the hell out of me, purely because of how seemingly random and unpredictable it was, not because it was excellent.

The trainers name was Paul from Pakistan. He had some 'mons not usually seen, but the bit that caught me offguard was a Tornadus dark pulsing all over the show, and Terrakion carrying X-Scissor. Suffice to say, I think he was a bit scared of Cresselisa's against him.

Either he's a genius, or the Pakistan metagame is entirely different. Lets get them a space at Worlds!

I highly doubt it, considering he's not from the east coast, and he's pretty much not playing Pokemon atm.
 
Gah. I was up to 1725, then had a string of bad losses against low ranked people. It hadn't updated the ranking before I went to bed... Then I had a dream that it had updated and I was on 1400 or so, which was pretty annoying. Then I woke up. Hope it didn't really manage to drop that low...

Had a fun match against someone with all three Johto dogs and a Krookodile, though. He Earthquaked his own Raikou and Entei to death to get the Moxie boosts.
 
My first 15 battles were against Japanese players. I won them all but got DCed.
Speaking of getting DCed by Japanese players, I just got DCed.
They updated my battle number and Rating this morning. But, they haven't since.
