League of Legends: Let's Talk About uhhh??

Meh, Galio is pretty bad, honestly. There's no real reason to put him on a team anymore, the Taunt is just so lackluster compared to things like Amumu and Nunu's ults.

So, Maokai. Is starting to look awesome. Sounds like he's going to destroy in team-fights.

I main Malphite, and his lane dominance is stupid good. Every time my friend tries out a new champ and lanes, I play Malphite to turn on easy mode for him, and start feeding him. He's just unnecessarily good at laning. Getting Ganked? Q. Want to Harass? Q. Need to catch up for a kill? Q. Need to slow someone for your laning partner to get a kill? Q.

Recently I've been doing Malphite + Trundle lanes with a friend of mine, and every single time it results in either one or both of us being fed early game and just rolling into late game wrecking teamfights like no other. Their CC and damage just mesh together so damn well.

Meanwhile, I've been trying out jungle Udyr for a couple days now, and I'm testing different skill paths for his Jungling, but after I get through the first pass, I have no idea what items to buy, or how to play him, or what. Tips, tricks, recommendations?

These are, swear to god, the two most in-depth Udyr guides I've ever read, and cover almost every viable way to play him. They both cover jungling, playstyle, skill rank order, and so much more between each of them.

Also, if Maokai has a Chairman Mao skin, I'm going to be so happy. ^_^

after playing corki i found him to be lackluster, mostly because i don't like using the ranged carries that rely on 'tactical decisions' in team fights. i prefer to ult and proceed to right click, which is why i enjoy ashe and tf so much as opposed to tristana and twitch

even with tf, all you have to do is red card if they bunch up, yellow card their carry

corki is apparently very good in ranked though so yeah that's just me LoL

udyr is problematic since i don't have enough runes or masteries to get his phoenix route to work. i'll stick with warwick and nunu for now. gangplank is really fun, i critted 1k after getting enough items. he farms like a boss too and his ult is so good for team fights, especially when you have a nunu, amumu or any other ridiculous aoe champ

Rayquaza: Damn, I'm still around 1500 experience short... T_T

Have I friended you in game yet?

Id like to see jarvan 4's abilities.
I keep picturing a garen clone

Jarvan:
* A possibility for Jarvan’s Q ability is a single-target nuke where Jarvan dashes towards and through an enemy, straight to the person behind the target, like the Demacian Goku. This would enable Jarvan to dash through tanks so he can get straight to cutting up the fragile DPS or support champions hanging out in the back during teamfights.
* Another potential ability would have Jarvan hurling his lance like a giant spear, impaling an enemy champion. The throw is so powerful that the lance would plant in the ground behind them, where it would transform into a flag that buffs allies. Jarvan can pick the lance back up, ala Olaf’s axe throw, but enemy champions have an opportunity to burn the flag before he gets the chance to.
* Epic. Jarvan’s ultimate has him leap into the air and slam down lance-first into an enemy champion within range. Upon impact, an arena springs up from the ground to create a one-on-one duel between Jarvan and his unfortunate nemesis. This sounds like a combination of Pantheon’s and Poppy’s ultimate abilities, although it was undecided if the ultimate will be global or how long the duel would last.
* Jarvan’s passive is designed to support his playstyle: initiate fights with the enemy, run into the fray hitting everyone a little bit (rather than single-target DPS), and keep on going ‘til the opposing champions are wiped out. His passive lets him deal extra damage to champions with 70% or more of their maximum health, meaning Jarvan players have the incentive to change targets rapidly in a fight, softening them a bit and then moving on to the next and letting their teammates clean up the rest. The developers were also toying with the idea of giving him an innate slowing debuff on his auto-attacks, to encourage players to tag as many enemy champions as possible to maximize his effectiveness.

Very very interesting. Im wondering how you would burn the flag though.
But on top of all this... Theres a new map coming out. I know this is old news but id like to see what is on the 2 raised platforms in the middle of each lava-jungle thingo.
Id assume its like 2 baron nashor level things....
But those teleporters, i reckon a way to control their usage might be needed.

fuck i bought malphite with my ip and i just don't get him. I can't seem to figure out a build for him (tanky-ish) so i guess help?

Jebus McAzn : no you haven't, and you probably don't want to play with someone as bad as me, so.

If you really want to, LoL name is the same as my forum name.

IN ANGRIER NEWS

I honestly hate tanking. Whenever I see a Xin Zhao on my team, there's a 78% chance a retard's playing him. This one repeatedly audacious charged, got exhausted, kept attacking, died, then blamed me for not taunting (I was playing Shen) even though I taunted as soon as he got Exhausted so that he could GET OUT. I was treated to "NOOB SHEN L2 PLAY" for 25 minutes. And people wonder why low ELO players don't play tanks. Is the team doing well? Good. Are you a major factor in that? Yes? Too bad, no one cares. Is the team doing badly? OH NO, IT'S THE TANK'S FAULT

Well the tank does play a large role in the game. We ganked loads in one game and the only one we failed was where i died so there was no more rammus. Idk what its like in higher level games but i find support heroes and tanks that are played at least decently go a long long way.
I think perhaps people forget that tanks can die too.
I dont understand, why would shaco, heimer and teemo be good on magma chamber? They can place things but i dont see how that affects things

trap teleporters and have someone weakened before you run along and finish them off

i liken playing a tank or support to playing medic in tf2 - most people don't like it, but it has to be done and good players will always appreciate it (if they're not tanking or supporting). plus if you've ever played with me when I play Shen you'll know that I get a bit too into it and scream 'I CANNOT BE KILLED, PUNY *enemy carry*' into my mic and allchat

Thorns I want in on this mages with physical items.

Though honestly Zilean makes alot of sense, with his speed boost and reincarnation.

originally i just asked yerob 'oi i'll play a stunner and you can double bomb' then we decided that we would just go dps. zil's good because of his reincarnation, large attack range and relatively high starting ad. annie has a really big range and great animation (looks hilarious at higher speeds let me tell you) but really bad as, which is why i bought a phantom dancer

i guess you could do it with anivia (multiple slows for efficient ganking as a dpser) and kassadin (relatively high hp and a blink)

I think everyone should take a look at Master Yi sometime, as I feel he's an underrated and stigmatized champion. Which is a shame, because there's a top player (Strelo) on the NA servers who hit 2100+ Elo playing nothing but Yi for 750 games, which is amazing. Yi is actually a pretty decent champ if you build him properly, getting a BVeil somewhere down the line.

Nah, DPS Yi is where it's at.

Anyways, I was saving up for Jarvan, but gave in partway through and bought Hurrrrgot, in part as a training tool to help me be a more aggressive player in the lane. Urgot is another really underrated champ, so I've heard. I just hope I'll be able to play him in Ranked without my team hating me, since he's really stigmatized.
