Good job guys. Their Wukong was absolutely abysmal at last hitting. At one point supermarth had gone b and Wukong still only got one minion from an entire wave.

I'd be willing to join in for Smogon in-houses if you want. I play on the account mi ramfan.

On another note, I need to get a new AD carry to play, since I've been playing Tristana and got sick of just being outclassed by every other champion on earth. Hell, even AD Sona is better than Tristana :(
 
Well I'm brand new to Smogon but certainly not to LoL. If you want to add me my acc name is 911toast. Main galio, anivia, kassadin, lee, and wukong, but decent in all roles except solo top.

Tristana is easily one of the top 3 AD carries I have no idea what you are talking about :/
 
lol i haven't logged on for 3 months (on smogon). When do you guys usually play? (username es cheezrcool (smurf) and blocksrcool (main, usually on smurf though))

i pretty much troll casual games (and ranked games with my crazy team comps).
 
Well, tbh, CLGEU outpicked M5 (Master Yi jungle with Vlad top to stop Trynd lol), no Wriggles on Yi, and just Wickd facerolling with Trynd because that's one of his mains. Morg counters Brand, and there's not much MF/Sona can do vs Sivir/Taric.

trist is probably the second best AD carry right now next to sivir

especially after the vayne/graves nerf last patch

even before that she was still amazing

check my match history. i think i played 2 trist games today and they were both stomps because we won bottom lane. level 2 aggression very strong.
 
top/mid are way easier than bot. only one enemy champion to deal with. and if you're against two just turret hug and farm until you're able to crush them 1v2. I hate having a lanemate and dying because you trusted them not to suck miserably.
 
I haven't played in a while and still kind of suck (at least compared to where I used to be :x)

Does anyone have a list of the top champions at each position? Or a tier list? There's been so many patches that I just don't know anymore ~_~
 
Solomid.net is a great place to look for your specific champ's position/builds. If you are looking to fill a position look at http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wiki/Champion_attributes.

The positions pretty much every team must have are mage, carry, support, and tank, although there is a lot of flexibility in those positions. For example a lot of teams will run multiple tanky fighters instead of a tank, and a lot more champions are capable of carrying than what the lolWiki lists.

Pretty much if they are a tanky DPS (fighter), they are best on top.
Mages almost always go mid.
The most successful meta is to make ranged carries go bot with a support.
The highest-tier junglers are all listed under the "jungle" link on that page

Of course this really only makes a difference when matched at high-skill level play. At low levels its more useful, IMO, just to have a lot of dps champions.

There is really no "overall" tier list anymore as, like you said, Riot tweaks the game to bring "underpowered" champions into viability and nerf overpowered champions, and even the pros use all of them them fairly equally. The only champions considered to be unviable at the moment are Karma and Kayle, and Shen and Evelynn are so bad that Riot is currently doing full reworks for them. So don't play those four.
 
Honestly, jungle Alistar is amazing. Godly ganks, incredible sustain; it's just too good. Mana can be a problem without blue early on, but it's still amazing. Probably my favorite current jungler as of now. Had a game earlier with him, and it was absolutely hilarious; we had Yorick top, Akali mid, Sona AND Leona bot, and my Alistar jungle. Pretty much facerolled them, since we got Yorick and Akali fed to hell. Hilarity ensued.

Oh, and as a random note: if your jungler is a tank, please understand that it is up to you, the laner, to deal damage if you want the kill. I will bring the CC, you bring the pain. Yes, I can do damage as Rammus/Amumu/Alistar, but I'm not gonna take them from 100 to 0 before they can run away. I ping, I type my target in chat, so PLEASE follow me when I gank. And hey, sometimes I tower dive. If you can reasonably pick the enemy off, FOLLOW ME. You won't be taking tower damage, I will. I ward, we have vision, everyone else is accounted for, so we won't get randomly killed unless we're complete idiots. I just can't stand when people stand around derping because they couldn't right click/use an ability. Ugh.
 
@iFailed: Kayle is actually really strong. Her early game is so strong. Play extremely aggressively early because her damage is way higher than most people for the first few levels. Get some kills early, get ahead, and ride it out.

@Cordyceps: I couldn't agree more. I hate when people don't understand ganking.
 
I haven't played since December 1st, but I plan on playing again.

What are the updates that I should be aware of?
