First off I would like to apologize. I had taken some iron ore from a chest near that little brick bridge. I didn't take all of it though. It was out in the open and looked like a public chest. Next time I find a chest out in the open, I will ask if its OK, kay guys? Problem solved. What I'm gonna do is place some cobble stone in front of my doors. That way the intruder will have to break in. I will also place a water pit on the other side that they cant jump over.

Why would you want to protect your house when so far you seem to be one of the few people unable to realise that stealing is baaad, mkay

anyway, i'll hit the server in a few days when i'm settled into uni and shit, should be good fun, I take it the map is still adventure or w.e instead of creative
 
Ummm... I know stealing is bad. I though people like layell placed those items in the OPEN chests so people could have resources to start out with. Keep in mind I've only been playing since last night, and I STILL can't get onto minecraft..... I realized that now and I apologized..... That apologizing should have been enough to say that hey, I found out I was accidently stealing and it's my bad and I feel bad about it.

But how about we move on as this is starting to get silly. Can't wait to finish my AWESOME house of pumkin madness!!!! :D Gonna be lit up by pretty much just pumkins, featuring 2 pumpkin totem poles outside and the second floor is stone bricks and pumpkins with the roof being a dome.
 
So who's seen that hideously tall tower that looks like a dog made it...? It has a mushroom on top.
Yeah, I'll fix the eyesore up later... Maybe move out a bit

I love the Smogcraft server, and I can't wait until it's completely on a permanent map.
Also, for those that don't know, I go by Xonmean on Minecraft.

It would be great if you had to carry the eggs a certain amount of steps depending on how rare the mob inside the eggs were.
 
Breeding sounds really cool. There's nothing more infuriating than trying to shut a decent number of sheep into an enclosed space to use for farming wool, so having them spawn already within a pen should make stuff a lot easier
 
Guess I should reveal who I really am. I go by the name of jamster1297 on the smogcraft. I own that big pumkin house near the river in town. It isn't very hard to miss.

Man, zombies are harder to kill than they appear to be. I lost all of my items because a zombie fell down out of nowhere and killed me... In a mineshaft.... Good thing I've got some iron bars hidden somewhere. Now if I could just find where I put them....
 
It looks like you have to hand feed them, so it being automatic is very unlikely.

We'll see how it works out.

Maybe if spawning is THAT limited, Minecraft might start having an economy over demand for food?

Oh wait, WATERMELONS AND MUSHROOM SOUP, nevermind, unlimited food!

Watermelons are slow to get and each slice only restores 1 heart or something like that. Mushroom stew doesnt stack.

Solution?

melons are actually quite nice if you can devote the time to constructing a large enough farm. some melons will grow rather quickly (if not instantly) and yield yet more melon seeds. once the stems are fully grown (which can easily be accomplished with bone meal!) after enough time, there will be an enormous return on the investment. I started with three seeds and now have a melon farm capable of yielding 72 melons
