I have one problem though, whenever I enter the date, time and all the other info needed in the DPPt Seed Finder, it says that I have to check the time and date, and that there is no reasonable seed found. PLEASE HELP ME! I really need a good team (I am trying to make it to worlds this year, I have been there through the TCG many times, but I want to try the the video game)

I'd just like to thank Mingot (and the users he thanked in that first post) for the tutorial and RNGreporter program, which is epic - I managed to get an awesome shiny Shaymin the other day. Thanks.
Also, a question:
I always get even-numbered delays (eg. 600, 606, 608), does that mean I can only use even-numbered ones, or is it possible to somehow change something and get odd delays? Just wondering... usually there's an even delay for the spreads I want anyway.

Does using Sweet Scent on a city advance the RNG at all?

You are inserting incorrect numbers into RNG reporter. Double check to make sure the pokemon stats are correct, along with the nature. Then go to the setting on the ds and check the time and date. Make sure those are typed correctly.
Whenever I add my 8 chained shinies' IV's into the "chain to shiny" function, I never get a result.
Also, the Poke'mon I am using, Togepi, has a male rate of 87.5, but the only options on the RNG reporter are
Male (Male 12.5%, Female 87.5%)
Or
Female (Male 12.5%, Female 87.5%)
There is no Male 87.5%, am I missing something here? :S

I've used AR extensively for RNG breeding. The secret to correctly hitting delays with an AR is to figure out how long it takes the AR to load the game, and then figure that time into your calculations. As an example, I tested hitting my target delays with my AR, and found out that it took approximately 3 seconds to load the game from the moment I pressed START on the AR screen. In order to hit my delay, I'd set the DS's time to a minute prior to my target, load the AR and choose the codes I wanted, and then wait to press START 3 seconds before the new minute (at xx:xx:57 in this case). AR loading times may vary depending on the model, so you're going to have to test it yourself.

thanks sudo. I want to let you know that I appreciate you helping me out when I was first struggling to RNG abuse. I'm abusing some great pokemon now cause of you.:D
So I tried to get a shiny, timid, female snorunt using the DPPt shiny egg tab in the time finder. My first try I accidentally left an everstone on the female so it didn't work out. The second time I'm not sure what I did wrong (though I know I did something).
I guess what I should ask is wether or not you should have 6 pokes in your party when using the DPPt shiny egg tab. I did.
I could have...possiblymiscounted my flips or taps, but they were only like 11taps and 10 flips (after doing the 10 verification flips that I did), so I kind ofdoubt I screwed it up, but hey, who knows. X?
Oh, and I hit my seed both times.

so im not seeing any adjacent spreads that match my eggs ivs. does this mean i did something wrong in the whole process or am i just not hitting the delay anywhere close to where it is? Also i know for the journal flips if it says you caught a pokemon it counts as one flip, but does that have to be at the bottom of the page or can it be anywhere on it?
It can be anywhere on it, and when you're generating your adjacent results try broadening the search. Widen your range of delays, maybe add a second to it, and then increase your range of frames and look for the spread you actually got to see how far you are off. Sometimes, I'll like accidentally miss the A button or something stupid and get a weird delay that I can't find because my adjacent spreads arent's "wide" enough to show what I actually hit.

When using the "Chain to SID" function, I'm finding it goes from "3 possibilities" to 0 possibilities, then would not budge, even with 10 chained shinies completely UT.
This is frustrating me as I just chained 3 shiny Snubull in the last 1 hour and half to test if it would take, but unfortunately it hasn't.
Please advise :) Much appreciated

If you want your SID, just go to the simple requests thread and post that you want someone to find it for you. You send them any old poke of yours, they run it though pokesav or something and PM you back what your SID is. Just my suggestion. I was going to tell you this before, but whatevs. XD
As I said in the PM -- You are either entering incorrect information about one of the Pokemon or one of the Pokemon was not chained.
Once it goes to 0 possibilities, stop. It will never go back up. It finds the SID by using intersections of sets of possible SIDs for each chained shiny that you enter.
You aren't doing anything wrong. You just have to re-save and do it some more and hope it is more consistent. The NPCs are not always consistent.

If you got 4, 4 out of 9 times, I would just go with 4. You'll probably get it in 2 or 3 tries then (assuming you hit your seed each time.)
Can someone who's willing explain to me how I'd use the shiny egg tab in the timefinder?
Just enter particular date you want, the delay your most confortable with in min-max delay. Then if your searching for a particular nature or ability, select it...and for gender, select the gender, however you must be aware that you must correctly enter the percentage of that Pokemon's chance of being female or male.
Click generate, find the spread your most confortable with using.
In-Game
After hitting your delay and time, flip the coins to check you delay, remember that this is necessairy to make the trick work. After that swicth to happiness checker and tap the amount needed shown in the RNG Reporter, go back to coin flip and flip X amount of time showed in the RNG Reporter so, then put you parents in the daycare center and wait for the man to hold it, save before getting it if you want to RNG abuse the egg so basicly :
-Flip 10 time to check your delay (obligatory)
-Tap X amount of time on the happiness checker
-Flip X amount of time on the coin flip
-Put parents in daycare
-Save before getting the egg rom the daycare man.
