Most Generation PRNG Help / Information

So whenever I get to the step of trying to hit my delay I never see any adjacent results that match mine. This happens every time I try the process. If it helps I have been following bearsfans video exactly.

And yes I have broadened the adjacent results.

Any suggestions?

people seem to have skipped over my question...

Okay, i'm having Proplems with Wichu's Program again.

Whenever I search for anything on it, I NEVER get any results.

Why is that? :/

3 separate times now, I've used the DPPt shiny egg tab. I've...

1) Saved inside the daycare with my parents in my party of 6.
2) Reset, changed my date and hit my seed each time.
3) Done my 10 verification flips.
4) Done my X amount of coin flips.
5) Done my X amount of happiness taps.
6) Deposited my parents out of my party of 6.
7) Rode my bike and saved in front of the daycare man.
8) Hatched my egg to verify shininess, nature, gender, and ability.

Each time, it has had the correct nature, ability, and gender, but it hasn't been shiny.

Can anybody tell what I'm doing wrong from this^^^?

Hey is it possible that we can try to make the RNG reporter into an Application for the iTouch/iPhone. It'd be much more convenient to be able to RNG abuse without the use of a computer any time. I know it may be a little off topic with regards to research in this thread but I was just wondering if it would be possible...

I'd like one too. I don't always have access to a computer and my iPod touch would come in handy XD.

But, I think I heard somewhere that Mingot will do it, provided someone gives him a Mac? =P, but I think Mingot's too busy with other stuff anyway.

Wrong ID or SID in the egg pid timefinder window.

??? I might have possibly put my other cart's IDs in it, but I changed them in the other tabs cuz I've gotten shinys on this cart before using other tabs (seed finder, then that first tab). I'll double check. Thank you sir. :)

[edit]

Wow. Yeah, i had the wrong ID and SID in there (just used the $-SID code to double check). How on earth did I use the Seed Finder and then generate Eggs with the "shiny only" box clicked to find shiny eggs before though if I had the wrong ID and SID?!?! Is that not dependent on your IDs?!?!?

[edit 2]
Thanks mingnot. Changed my IDs and got it. :)

This may not be the right place to ask, and it's probably waaaaay too early to ask it, but I just saw that you can get a Self Destruct Munchlax in HG/SS off the pokewalker on serebii's front page. Is there any indication that pokewalker pokes could be RNGable? I have no idea how they get off the pokewalker, or if they get their IVs on the walker or during transfer or what?!

Too early like you said. 90% of us don't have the pokewalker. I know arael does, maybe talk to him about doing tests. If the pokewalker makes its own, the IVs and PID may be based on something internal like XD.

I haven't even turned the Pokéwalker on >_> However, I remember Lorak said his two Surfchus' PIDs were, what, 12 apart of each other? Something like that.

The pokémon is generated by the Pokéwalker itself, though, so I guess it's going to be nigh-to-impossible to RNG abuse it, just like XD/Colosseum.

I just have one question about PokeRadar abuse:

~Calculations for journal flip

Target frame - Actual frame - Steps advancement - Radar advancement - 6

If this number is odd, you have to do an extra turn while walking to your patch. If even, divide by 2 for the amount of journal flips.

The -6 is from 5 for battling and 1 for the monster frame.
I've gotten up to this step.
My target frame is 894, the actual frame is 535. The steps advancement is how many steps it takes to get to the next sparkling patch, right? In my case that would be 2 'turn+steps' so 4. So what is the radar advancement?

The steps number you have is correct.

Radar advancement refers to how many patches showed up. If 4 showed up, use 8, if 3, 6 advancement. Check with my post to confirm the numbers for advancement.

Oh crap.. I don't know how many showed up. DX
I know it was at least two because there was two sparkling ones fairly close, but it's so tough to see, especially the regular ones, in the sandstorm.
So I'll just go with three.. 8 advances. DX
894 - 535 - 4 - 8 = 347. So 1 extra turn will make it 346. 346 / 2 = 173 journal flips.

Right?

Yea I guess that math is right. You can check if the target you are going for repeats. If it does, go for the lowest one it does, (ex. 894, 896, 898). Target 894 with 2 patches showing up. If 3 really came up, it would go to frame 896, which is still good, and with 4 patches it goes to 898, which still works. So pretty much find one that works 3 in a row like this and use the lowest for the target frame and do the math for 2 patches showing up.
