Most Generation PRNG Help / Information

There are many routes where you can disable all movable NPCs once you battle them with vs seeker so long as you stay in that route. clear example is route 207 for starters.

Thank you guys, I tried it out on route 207 and it worked^^

Now I wanted to rng abuse cubone and I checked the route 203. I could use the vs seeker on all npcs, but there is still a moving npc not being a trainer. Does it mean cubone can´t be rng´ed?

actually it is possible to rng cubone as I have proof of that. Best to fight the one trainer, then go to grassy area near non-trainer npc and be prepared to open journal immediately similar to way most of us do wondercards in the pokemart.

So actually, I shouldn´t check the delay with the coin flip because in this time, the woman could move a lot?

(Ignore this, I have found the information on the guide^^)

My friend wants to PRNG on Heart Gold and he neither knows how to boost the Frame nor how to check whether he got his Delay...

Do the NPCs affect the frames even if I have the Journal open, and by how much do they generally advance the frames?
I want to kill the bitch in the Oreburg museum >:(

It's very situtational, but sweet scenting is how I checked my seed for my Raikou/Entei and Ho-Oh. I just tried to hit my seed, sweet scented, plugged it into RNG reporter until I actually hit my seed, then wrote down that pokes info so if that poke didn't pop up immediately, I just Reset and tried again.

There are tons of ways to "boost your frame". I've been Sweet Scenting to boost it by fairly high amounts and then fine tuning it with turns not to or from my poke while standing where wild pokemon are. However, neither of these methods give consistent advancements from one seed to another, it's always different, but within any given seed it's always the same. Works fine for me.
Ok im trying to RNG on HG but im a little confused about how tuning/detuning the radio advances the RNG and what by?
Search this thread for the word "detune" and you'll find a post a while back about it. It will explain everything you need to know.

For the past week or two, I've been trying to figure out RNG abuse in Platinum. I managed to hatch a shiny Magikarp after some struggles with chaining and my SID. That part was easier than I thought it would be.
But right now, I'm having some trouble resetting for IVs. I calibrated myself properly, picked a spread, and am saved in front of the Day Care Man. But I keep missing the delay... by two. I've tried about twenty times, most of them landing on 604 (I'm aiming for 606). Is this normal? The one time I did land on 606, I must've missed the frame, because the IVs were all wrong. How fast does the frame increase once you've started your game? My "calibration" had me at 12 frames between the time I "continued" and the time I talked to the Day Care man. Does it really move that fast?

Also, are there videos of people doing this available? I think it would help me if I saw someone else going through the process.

You can either set your year forward by 2 to make your target delay the same as your calibrated delay, or search for another seed with the calibrated delay. Trying to time out a finger twitch to a sixtieth (spell?) of a second doesn't seem to be working for you. Bearsfan's videos are on the the first page of this thread, or can just search youtube and find them.

No, once you've got the journal open, they do not advance the frames. However, you may try saving a few times to find a moment when the, uh, Oreburg lady doesn't move, and then try to recalibrate your frame.

1)If you simply do a step in anydirection, so the step counter will only advance by 1, does this increase your frame by 1?
It´s kinda confusing because I you would do a 128 steps with 1 Pokemon in your party, this would also increase the frame by 1. so what is correct now?

2)Is there a possiblity when looking for spreads on rng reporter to look for certain slots? I mean I really waste a lot of time when copying the seeds and right click tp check which slot Pokemon will arrive.

Question about Emerald PRNG abuse: I found out that the perfect spread for breeding this poké I have is a split spread (they only have two 31s each). However, I've hit the frame three times, and none of those three times has been a split spread. Has it been determined how to trigger split spreads with more certainty?

This is the spread, BTW:

8577S / 2:22.95 / 31 - 31 - A - 21 - A - B

My current frame is 7,
target is 9, which means 1 journal flip,
my journal starts on 1 flip,
so I start, and it says the frame I got was 10. Why?

I'm not an expert on DPPt RNG, but does the journal say you captured a Pokémon?

Gonna RNG Entei in HG. I've already killed him and am at the E4. Seems like I can check my seed in the cave outside of the E4 with sweet scenting so I don't waste my time, but unfortunately there's that one pesky NPC in the lobby.

1) If I hit my seed, sweet scent to verify, run straight through the lobby and talk to that dude, will the NPC advance the frame "the same, or almost the same" amount each time because I hit my seed?
2) Anybody got any better ideas for RNGing Entei at the E4 with no flashcart?

when you talk to the guy try slowing down a bit. Quickly start talking to him so that noone moves then go a little slower than you normally do.
