My OU team.

Well, my team still need some editing so I need it rated.

First off, here as some of the major points of my team:
1. Only Dragonite and Rotom-H has to fear SR as for the rest of my team it takes neutral damage at the most.
2. Half of my team is imune to a sandstorm.
3. Most of the greatest threats in the OU teir can be countered.
4. My team is a mix of offencive/ bluky pokemon.

Changes in green.

Lead:
dpmfa142.png

Suicide Lead
Jolly, Pressure
4 HP/ 252 Atk/ 252 Spe
Focus Sash
-Earthquake
-Stone Edge
-Taunt
-Stealth Rocks

In my opinion this is the best lead in the game and has never failed me when using taunt and sr. Because of its amazing speed I can sometimes KO an opponite while seting up sr.

Sweeper:
dpmfa065.png

Trick Specs
Timid, Synchronize
252 SpAtk/ 6 SpDef/ 252 Spe
Choice Specs
-Psychic
-Focus Blast
-Signal Beam
-HP Grass

Alakazam is one of the games greatest special sweepers. With its base 135 SpAtk and with Choice Specs equiped it can revenge kill almost any pokemon that does not resist it and has taken prior damage. To top the off with a base speed of 120 this almost ensures that you will attack first. Alakazam also has a wide range of attacks. A STAB Psychic with 135 base SpAtk and Choice Specs will shoot fear into most pokemon in the game. Focus Blast is great for taking out steels and darks that would normally resist it. Signal Beam is great for taking out other psychics, scoring 4x damage on a celebi, grass types, and also darks. Trick can come in handy when you find yourself in a prediciment allowing you to switch items with your opponite, most likely forcing a switch. Finally I have HP Grass in the final slot also because my team lacks a swampert counter.

Salamence/ Gyrados Counter:
dpmfa145.png

Timid, Pressure
80 Hp/ 252 SpAtk/ 176 Spe
Choice Scarf
-Thunderbolt
-HP Ice
-Heat Wave
-U-Turn

I need to make a description for Zapdos. Below this is the description for Magnezone.
[Walling all of salamence and gyrados's attacks with the exception of eq and fireblast this thing can really cause some pain to those two and stop their sweeping dead in its tracks. Chioce Scarf really makes up for the low base speed with a speed of 360. Once again I have signal beam to add extra coverage from dark types trying to KO Alakazam and Rotom-H and covering Swampert from grass types. Also, signal beam can be used to KO Latias before a sweep. Thunderbolt as Magnezone's most relible STAB move inflicting 4x damage on Gyrados and 2x damage on Salamence. HP Ice is helpful against dragon types, scoring a hefty 4x damage on most of them, and for ground types. Flash Cannon can help as a STAB move and can score 2x damage on Wevile, Mamoswine, and Rhyperior.]

Bulky Attacker:
dpmfa260.png

Adamant, Torrent
252 Hp/ 252 Atk/ 6 Def
Leftovers
-Earthquake
-Waterfall
-Avalanche
-Stone Edge

Swampert is an amazing pokemon and with the best typing in the game in my opinion with only a weakness of grass this is surly a great member to have on a team. Earthquake is Swampert's best STAB move and is great for taking out steels and fire types along with other pokemon that are already weakened thatd not resist it. Waterfall is great for other ground types. Having avalanche on Swampert allows it to be a back-up dragon counter while defending itself from grass types. Originally I had roar in the final slot but that allows Swampert's greatest downfall to occur. One thing I have noticed it the everytime I sent out my Swampert if my opponite has a Gyrados they will sent it out because Swampert has little effect to it and that is why I replaced roar with stone edge because after sr damage stone edge will finish it off. I changed the evs and the nature to max out Swamperts attack show it could be a powerhouse and it still can take so hits from neutral attacks.

Bulky Back-Up:
499.png

Bold, Levitate
252 Hp/ 168 Def/ 88 Spe
Leftovers
-Overheat
-Shadow Ball
-Will-o-wisp
-HP Fighting

As the best spin blocker in the OUs this is a must have. With WoW and high defenses this can easliy burn multiple pokemon on the enemies team. Overheat while it lowers SpAtk is a back-up move for Celebi, Mamoswine and others weak to it. Shadow Ball acts as a defence for Gengar, Alakazam, and others. Finally, HP Fighting is used for dark types, hitting 4x damage on Wevile and Tyranitar, while also hitting other ice, steel, and rock types for atleast 2x.

Support Wall:
dpmfsa149.png

Careful, Inner Focus
248 Hp/ 216 SpDef/ 44 Spe
Leftovers
-Light Screen
-Roost
-Thunder Wave
-Dragon Claw

I had to add this to my team as most people would never expect a pokemon with a base 134 Atk to wall something. Dragonite while it has high attack it also has a base 95 Def and a base 100 SpDef to fendoff attacks. The idea behide this pkemon is simple, first thunderwave your opponite then screen the special attacks. Next roost/ dragon claw do defeat them. One of the key selling points about this set is thunder wave because it allows pokemon like Swampert and Rotom-H to attack first.

Threats List

Threats List:
No Threat
Medium Threat
Huge Threat

Azelf: Easly KOed by Alakazam and Magnezone.

Breloom: Easly KOed by Alakazam. Spore may cause problems.

Blissey: This thing is a pain and I need suggestions on what to do with it.

Celebi: Easly KOed by Alakazam and Magnezone.

Dugtrio: Swampert can easliy KO.

Electivire: Swampert can easliy KO.

Empoleon: Swampert and Alakazam can easily KO, Rotom has HP Fighting if the first two are knocked out.

Flygon: Swampert can KO, Magnezone can if Swampert is KOed.

Gengar: Alakazam can own this.

Gliscor: Swampert can KO, Magnezone if need be.

Gyarados: Swampert and Magnezone can easily KO, but tricky if it gets a chance to set up.

Heatran: Bring Dragonite in to thunder wave it then send out Swampert to KO.

Heracross: This pokemon could be tricky with moves to KO Alakazam, Magnezone, Rotom, and Dragonite. This is deadly with guts and should be watched out for. My only hope is Alakazam.

Infernape: Alakazam and Swampert can KO.

Jirachi: Best hope is to Overheat with Rotom. Flichrachi is a pain and will cripple my team.

Kingdra: Dragonite is my only pokemon that can hit it with super-effective damage but, its attacks can be walled by Magnezone.

Latias: Alakazam and Magnezone can hit it with Signal Beam, Swampert with Ice Beam, Rotom with Shadow Ball, and Dragonite with Dragon Claw but, if I allow it to setup it will surely cripple my team.

Lucario: Swampert can deal with it. Alakazam and Rotom for back-up.

Machamp: This is no threat for Alakazam. This thing is a pain if Alakazam was already KOed.

Magnezone: Swampert and Alakazam.

Mamoswine: Alakazam and Magnezone can easily KO.

Metagross: Thunder Wave with Dragonite to slow it down then EQ with Swampert.

Ninjask: No threat for Swampert.

Porygon-Z: Alakazam can handle this.

Rhyperior: Swampert owns this. Sub forms can be a pain if it subs when I switch in my Swampert.

Roserade: Alakazam, Magnezone, and Rotom can all take can or this.

Rotom-A: No threat for Alakazam.

Salamence: This could be trouble if I don't KO it before it can setup. Swampert and Magnezone can take care of this. Needs to be thunder waved from dragonite.

Scizor: Alakazam can take care of this if it does not come in on a bug attack otherwize Swampert should not have a problem with it.

Snorlax: Rotom and Alakazam can handle this one.

Starmie: Rotom can block its rapid spin attemps and then shadow ball it.

Suicune: Magnezone can wall this pokemon and thunderbolt it to death. Alakazam has HP Grass if needed.

Togekiss: Like Jirachi but much weaker. Magnezone and Swampert can deal with this.

Tyranitar: Easily dealt with with Swampert, but it could cause some damage.

Weavile: Alakazam can focus blast this but, if it fails it could cause my team some pain.

Yanmega: Swampert can handle

Zapdos: No threat to Swampert unless it has HP Grass.

Thunderbolt is not 2x effective against Salamence, it is neutral. Scarf Magnezone does not outspeed Gyarados or Mence after a dragon dance, and either will KO you with Earthquake. It also does not wall Kingdra's water attacks. I tried the same thing, and ended up going with Zapdos with Heat Wave/U-turn (or Roost)/Thunderbolt/HP Ice. It can be EVed to survive a Stone Edge, or simply just given a scarf and max speed which is great for surprise KOs. Also stops Heracross and Jirachi.

Heal Bell on Dragonite helps stop your team from being crippled by Paralysis. Superpower helps with Blissey - 59-69% to the most physically defensive spread with no offensive investment whatsoever. It also OHKOs Max HP no def boost Tyranitar spreads, and probably does similar to Heatran.

I can only Ice Beam being a big deal for Gliscor who can be taken down by your other team members - I would run Ice Punch on Swampert instead. You will have an easier time against Latias if you do. Everything else looks okay.

Ya, I forgot that electric is weak against dragon type and I was thinking of switching to a Zapdos.

Heal Bell dragonite's are a pain to get but I was considering having it on my team if I could get a good one. Also, I changed Swampert to the Physical set which can 2HKO Blissey after sr. Lastly, avalanche will help with dragons because they are faster than Swampert.

Hi! =)

While Alakazam is no doubt an amazing Special Sweeper, it is nothing but Pursuit bait for the number one most common Pokemon in OU, Scizor. Am I correct in guessing that you have been losing your Alakazam a lot sooner than you would like in your matches? If you are interested in changing to another special attacker, then I would strongly suggest Latias. Able to easily survive a Choice Band Pursuit from both Scizor and Tyranitar, Latias is also a wonderful user of Trick Specs (so you wont have to lose that), and has great bulk. Here is the set:

Latias @ Choice Specs
Abiltiy: Levitate
EVs: 4 Hp / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid nature (+Speed, -Attack)
~ Draco Meteor
~ Surf
~ Thunderbolt
~ Trick

While TrickSpecs Alakazam does pack more power and speed than TrickSpecs Latias, the Eon Pokemon more than makes up for it with her superior bulk (besides, 110 base speed and special attack is still really good). The best part is Tricking onto an obnoxious wall like Blissey, that just LOVES to switch in on Latias. Another great thing about Latias on your team is her ability to counter both Gyarados and Heatran amazingly well, two highly dominant forces in the OU metagame that the rest of your Pokemon have trouble with. Plus, how can you say "no" to her adorable sparkling brown eyes? ^_^

The moveset is fairly straightforward; Draco Meteor is standard on virtually any Dragon type, and the same holds especially true for the specially based Latias. Surf is great for countering Heatran, Tyranitar, Hippowdon, and other Pokemon that take little damage from Latias' other moves (such as Scizor). Thunderbolt is an awesome move for countering Gyarados, not to mention other bulky waters, such as Vaporeon, Milotic, Suicune, and Slowbro. Trick is a given on any Psychic that utilizes choice items, and the same holds true for Latias.

If you chose to go with Latias, you will no longer need Magnezone to counter Salamence and Gyarados, so I would suggest changing its set to the popular "steel killer" set:

Magnezone @ Leftovers
Ability: Magnet Pull
EVs: 172 Hp / 252 SpA / 84 Spe
Modest nature (+Special Attack, -Attack)
~ Thunderbolt
~ Magnet Rise
~ Substitute
~ Hidden Power Grass

Another fairly self-explanitory Pokemon and set, Magnezone's true calling is trapping and killing the vast number of steels in OU, such as Jirachi, Bronzong, Metagross, Skarmory, and the dreaded Scizor. Thunderbolt is the main move here, giving Magnezone strong STAB to bash the common OU steels with. Magnet Rise is equally as important, giving Magnezone a great immunity to the Earthquake commonly carried by Bronzong and Metagross. Substitute lets Magnezone set up an insurance policy against status, while giving it some staying power after your opponent's steel is killed. Finally HP Grass means that you arent walled by Swampert, something that is invaluable to Magnezone.

Hope I helped you, and good luck! =)

well for the pursuit thing I have have never been pursuited yet. I also like alakazam more because of its move set.
