Bottom Line:

Vicinti+Sun=Bad

Either ban Vicinti, or ban sun.

Oh and Kyurem
Hate that whore.

^Sorry for the not intelligent post, Im exhausted atm.

The SubRoost set is actually most dangerous, at least now that ChoicedRaptors are running around, most people doesn't see it coming until something has died

I actually have a little fear to let him put a sub, that's why my NP celeby stayed in staraptor, they speed tie so I risked getting outspeeded (and lost) and he used sub, then i used Psyquic again and he died, this is in no way a reliable way to kill staraptor (and i only new he was SubRoost after loosing Dusclops, this is one of the reasons he is so dangerous, he speed ties with the 100 pokes (the most important tier in UU with the pixies and many others) with reckless his BB is great to just destroy, and CC for the few things that actually resist it, not a lot can swich into SubRoost without loosing all of his health when forcing him out (and even if he has lost 75% of his health, he can Roost and swich, getting to 50% or more

Only one person voted "Do Not Ban" for sun. I think people are finally starting to see the picture with weather. Oh uu you give me another reason so go to uu. Now if Kyurem would leave and possibly Victini.

I have the feeling that Hail will dominate a lot more now that Vulpix is gone. Replace Kyurem with Jynx (yeah, it's nowhere near as bulky or as strong, but it fulfills pretty much the same role as a sweeper) and you do pretty much the same thing. I admit taht you need to run magneton for Empoleon, but it's pretty much the same otherwise.

Agreed. Weather will always dominate as long as it is an option. But I guess thats just what this game has become. Don't get me wrong. I love weather and it's effect on the metagame. I've been using UU Hail this whole time lol. I don't mind using Jynx.

Kinz retains the defense of blissey, and while fast and with a reliable sleeping move, priority (of ANY kind) kills her, not the case with kyurem, top actually can revenge her, and houndoom and friends are gonna eat her, she's not near kyurem power but i get the point

Is drought the only ban, or has anything else left?

Baton Pass + Shell Smash Recieved a majority but not a super majority. It's going into the next suspect test as an auto suspect.

Other than that no, nothing else has been banned. This is because none of the pokemon have been voted on yet.

This brings me to my next point. I was so excited to see Drought go from UU that I forgot the hypocrisy in it. I've lurked on the OU suspect test for a while and one thing I've noticed about the Blaziken and Garchomp arguments is that there are those who arent in favor in ability bans. Isn't this something we just did with Drought?

Why do people post about ability bans without understanding the specific and important semantics? We banned Drought because it was broken on all pokemon that it was available to (yes it was only one one pokemon, but the fact that it was used when the pokemon was so useless in itself is a testament to how powerful the ability is) whereas in OU, Garchomp is the only broken offender of Sand Veil, and Blaziken was the only broken offender of Speed Boost.

I think they meant ability +pokes bans. What we did with drought it like what OU did with Moody. It was not good for the tier and made all the pokes (although in this case, just this one) too good. It just happens Vulpix is the only poke with drought in UU, and we decided if was definitely drought, and not Vulpix that was the overall issue.

@Meru: You don't have to sound so condescending.

Ah I understand then. I was confused because Vulpix is the only one in uu with Drought. :P

Yes, the Ability Drought is banned.

This is not a Vulpix + Drought ban. This means if by some horrendous turn of events that will never happen, Groundon ended up in 5th Gen UU, Groundon would be auto-banned, for only having Drought.

Or, for something more realistic, UU Ninetails.

Besides, it's banned under the same vein as Moody, in UU, it breaks any pokemon with it. [If VULPIX is broen by Drought...]

Well, at least I got to have a little bit of fun with stuff like Lilligant. =(
I wonder what this will mean for Victini now. Like it's obviously still really good, but at least there's no more Sun-boosted V-create's flying around. Do you guys think it will stay UU now?

I guess I'll try out UU Sand now, since there's only one other weather to really worry about. Hippo, Stoutland<3, Sigilyph (Magic Guard + Calm Mind could almost be a UU Reuniculus that can't be statused), Quagsire, something with hazards, and Sandslash (Rapid Spin + Sand Rush).. could be pretty strong, no?

Bye bye kyurem. Voting is done and Kyurem is gone.

Victini, Chansey, and Staraptor recieved majorites. I'm actually kinda glad for Victini's sake. Without sun in the mix, it would stand to reason that Victini should remain for another round at least.

Chansey didn't receive majority, that was Mew.

Oh yay, we get another round of Chansey. I'm so excited.

Does anyone know when tiers will get updated and when shit like Tornadus can be used in UU?

Finally, with no sun i easily see victini becoming Top UU instead of BL, yes the lost of 135 BP does matter, and victini deserves a chance in a Sun-less enviroment, the same for chansey since now that people doesn't have to overprepare for sun and Kyurem you can prepare against her with stuff like sub-ghosts, trick, and baby reuniclus

Seriously? A pokemon that easily walls about 5/6ths of the whole teir is not broken?

BRB, not coming back to UU until Chansey goes, because it's just insane in UU.

In fact, the only bans were Drought and Kyurem [The second ever 100% vote]

Although... IMO, Chansey and Victini were far bigger issues than Kyurem.

trolololol Kyurem was 100% banned

this, I find hilarious

@Above: no, I'd say Kyurem is far more of an issue.

Anyway, if you have such issues with Chansey, run something with knock off that's normally a special sweeper and you're fine. Trick works too, I guess, but is easier to expect. It's not foolproof, but it's better than bitching about it.
