It just means good pokemon.I'm reading through the thread and keep coming across "goodstuff". Is this some sort of code name or does it just mean general strong pokémon?
Goodstuff is a bunch of Pokes thrown together that can wreck other teams. This pretty much refers to a team with no other theme (Rain, TR, Sun, etc), as well.I'm reading through the thread and keep coming across "goodstuff". Is this some sort of code name or does it just mean general strong pokémon?
Not for the qualifiers. The second round is in St Louis and finals in San Diego though.Just a question because I'm interested in doing this, has there been any info about where these are taking place in the US?
Oh nice! I wish I had one of those. I won a hat in the quiz. Nobody knew the answer to "What ways May's mom's name?" and I seen the episodes so many times haha, and I got it right. Anyway, I lost to a guy with a Selfdestruct Snorlax + Mewtwo lead. I never seen anything coming. I made it pretty far though. On the upside, even though I didn't win, on the bus ride home one of the guys who worked the KoP JAA event was on my bus, recognized me, and gave me his JAA Staff jacket since that was his last gig with Nintendo.

I would suggest that you use Gengar with Explosion over Snorlax as it is immune to fake out and outspeeds most threats. Here's my suggested Gengar:
Gengar @ Choice Scarf
Mild 252 Sp Atk, the rest in speed and attack
-Explosion
-Shadow Ball
-Trick
-Thunderbolt
Trick is in case you're against Sandstorm/Hail and you have to sacrifice Smeargle.
I have heard from one person who was a judge person last year for showdown said that there has been talk of qualifiers being at Denver, my source is the guy who leaked the Reggigigas event, so he is reliable.
lol a stop in Rhode Island or Montana.
I doubt a stop in every state or even half of the states. with JAA, there were a lot of stops that had a lot of open spots because people would enter and then not show up, or just not have a lot of people surrounding the stop, leaving the winners only out of 32 people or something. PUSA learned from their mistakes and only have the stops in a few states(like 4 or 6 from my guess) and allow more people in.
