Ok, we need to assist All American world participants to ensure we win. I am willing to let anyone borrow my Vgc Pokemon.
I second this. I can breed an pokemon anyone needs for worlds. I would breed them as quint flawless so the judges don't give you crap for having hex flawless pokemon.
So long as we understand the mathematical equation of [(2 ^ 8) - 1] * 2 then we should be fine. I have no problems with that.
After what happened with Alakapimp, i do not think that trading with others for pokemon will be a good thing.
Alakapimp was almost DQ'd becouse somebody else traded him a pokemon to use that was hacked.

I need a favor from some people that attended. I need
1) Approximately how many people were there (if possible)
2) A list of people who played (from smogon obviously lol) and their rankings (1st, 2nd, semifinals etc.). I obviously got OmegaDonut and IPL, but the rest of you guys how did you do?
3) If anyone who made it semi-finals or higher is willing to make their team public, just throw it to me in PM if you could.
4) Anyone who has any videos of the finals, if you ever load them send me a PM with the link.
Just PM me if you have any of this info please (I don't care if a bunch of different people PM me, a little bit from a lot of people helps). I need it for a specific purpose which you'll find out what it is in a few days, so don't ask =o.

The only problem alakapimp had was he got a pokemon over the EV limit. People can still trade for the pokemon but should do the EVing themselves and legitimately.

Are you trying to take my place as the TPCi Tournament Organization Nazi. Lol, just kidding, I do wonder what you have in mid, so I'll give you the information I have (This is assuming you are talking about the St. Louis tournament only). All the info I'll give you in a PM.
If they make it to the top two at worlds they should seriously both be ingame characters in the next Gen pkmn game :P

Dont want to be a prick but its safe to say at this point that there were some legal hacks that passed the hack check in these tournaments. Alakapimp got caught with one pokemon over the legal ev's allowed but it doesn't negate whether he had any ones that were legit looking as possible. seeing as he ar'ed for ev's you can output pokemon thru ar codes as well on pokesav.
Just saying if alakapimp had his cartridge from the end of regionals till nationals taken for verification and passed 1/2 hack checks, that says alot

Either way its a chance to travel for free and play the game you love, who wouldnt do the same?

I don't see the big deal, really.
Given the ability to abuse the RNG for good/excellent spreads, Pokesav created legal hacks, in a way, aren't really all that different - ultimately, unless the gap in stats is really huge, having the best possible stats for a Pokemon of a certain nature doesn't necessarily mean the person who hacked a (as an example) Flawless Garchomp w/Yache or Haban can beat someone with, say, an unhacked Timid Latios with 31 Speed & SpA.
A big congratulations to all of the Smogon members who did so well at Nationals, especially to winner OmegaDonut, finalist IPL, and semifinalists slimceagirl and Batpig! I can't wait to see the videos. Best of luck at Worlds!
I apologize as im didnt mean this as an insult nor be disrespectfull i was just trying to convey my thoughts on legal hacks in tournament play and saying that there are ways to bypass hack checks. Nothing against you personally
i think that more people should begin to focus more on strategy and team building rather than wasting time on breeding perfect pokemon. If you think about it, anyone can use legal hacks, but only the best can apply them at a level to win at the national stage. It takes a long time to prepare and test a team, and without these convenient hacks, many players would simply run out of time to build the right team they're capable of conceiving. Some who needed to make big last minute altercations to their teams really don't have anywhere else to turn, and I can't blame them for not wasting their time.

Well I just got back and I'd like to send a thank you to everyone who I had the pleasure of spending time with. This weekend was a blast and I enjoyed every minute of it.
My drive home was actually pretty depressing, knowing that I have to wait an entire year to get the chance to hang out with you guys again. Being around Jason, Paul, Huy, and Huy's brother 24/7 was a riot. Thanks for letting me stay with you guys. You can be sure that I'll return the favor next year if I'm able.
