im using regen chomp but mold breaker doesn't seem to activate at all. is that a bug or intended?

explain? mold breaker only ignores abilities in the damage calculation stage, and only when the mold breaker pokemon is attacking

i was mixing up exca and chomp thinking chomp has rough skin + mold lol
