The Everything NFL Thread - 2009

but McNabb will probably be back if Kolb sucks that game
I thought they just signed Garcia, so wouldn't he fit into the equation somewhere? But then again, I'm rooting for the Saints, so I'm hoping Eagles will drop the ball here.

Also cheering on 49ers when they play the Seahawks, should be interesting. Newly revived contender against injury-plagued contender last year.

Garcia was probably just brought in as an emergency QB. With Vick unable to play until next week (and McNabb injured), Kolb is their only healthy option and they needed another QB "just in case" something bad happened this week against the Saints. The only question is whether McNabb or Garcia will be second on the depth chart. Garcia may have some lingering familiarity with the system so he might actually be able to play decently and give McNabb some rest, if Kolb happens to suffer an injury.

What planet are you on? Since when are the Drew Brees-led Saints an easy win?
What planet are you on? When since has going 8-8 two years in a row and beating the the Detroit Lions made you a powerhouse?

lol just kidding. I don't see the the Kolb-lead Eagles keeping up with Detroit. But we'll see

I agree with DM. I think the Iggles will suffer greatly from no McNabb. Their defense will limit Brees to less than 6 TDs of course, but I still think the Saints will come out on top. It'll be close though.

Why in the blue hell is Philly starting Kolb over Garcia? Kolb is complete garbage.

I love that Cutler threw 4 picks in his debut with the Bears. I hope now the Bears are realizing they gave up a first round and 2 third round picks for a piece of shit QB who is barely better than what they had before.
Give Cutler some receivers that are not no namers or a converted defensive back then we'll talk. To think Cutler is barely better than Orton clearly shows how retarded you are.

umm, Jake Delhomme threw 3 picks and only threw for 73 yards in his last game. What makes you think it'll be any different against the Falcons?

I think he was being sarcastic >_>

Anyway, why are people picking the Vikings to win? Obviously you guys don't watch enough Minnesota sports to know that teams from Minnesota, especially the Vikings, are the most disappointing teams in all of sports. They also tend to lose to god awful opponents such as the Lions, and have records set against them (Tony Dorsett 99 yard TD run, Cromartie 109 yard TD field goal return or whatever it was, etc.)

redskins are going to go 3 and 13

they're a big fat expensive mess

dan snyder needs to kill himself (and i am dead fucking serious right now i want dan snyder to literally die)

4 red zone trips, 9 points

absolutely sickening

Well... Jake threw an INT in the red zone. If the falcons could just take advantage of that...

Eagles v Saints started out nicely and well... fell apart lol.
