AFC South, Colts are superior to the Cowboys (yes), Jags superior to the Giants (yes), Titans superior to the Redskins (maybe...on a good day), and Texans superior to the Eagles if they get rid of McNabb and start Kolb or whatever next year. Texans were 7-3 outside of their division this year. Hot yes? You play the Colts and Jags twice each year and you are lucky to escape with a win. Put the Texans in the West and they could very well be in the playoffs right now.

The Titans are dangerous but it's all really on VY's shoulders...this team is looking more and more like the Vick Falcons imho.

Anyways, the South is stronger at the top than the NFC East, honestly.

Well it depends what is really meant by "better," but overall the AFC South has been "better" (in terms of winning) just this year. Texans better than the Eagles, though? You're smoking something and it isn't normal tobacco. The Texans overachieved this year, the Eagles underachieved and they still finished with a better record. And McNabb isn't the "key" you think he is.

Titans are good despite VY, although they do look like the Falcons of last year in one aspect -- no receivers. :P The defense is really what brought the Titans to the playoffs, especially the run defense with a healthy Haynesworth.

How are the Titans only superior to the Redskins on a good day? The Titans have a superior defense, and both offenses have made critical blunders this season that cost them games.

Thank you genius, because in this whole complete thread if something that doesn't mean anything, it isn't here at all, for example, team fandom.

Trade rumors are already starting to sneak out onto headlines across the internet. The two players that want out, and i see getting out at this point would be Javon Walker and Losman. I think that Walker will end up In Jax, hes a really good fit. If not in Jax he may go to Minnesota or San Fran. Idk about losman, a few places in need of a Quaterback, but they are of course high in the draft. I don't think he'll start anywhere, he could go and compete for a job somewhere, like kansas city (go Jayhawks) or even San fran.

Javon Walker wants out again? What a whiner!

Steeler, I was making a retort to Fight Two Demons, so the improbability of it is not the point.

Fight Two Demons, the level of skill is nearly the same between all the top teams. NFL games are typically close affairs! Every team has strengths and weaknesses.

I really wouldn't call him a whiner, thats sort of immature. Your looking at a really tough guy in Javon Walker. Athelticly he hasn't been the same since he left Green Bay, where he should have stayed, and if he did last year the Packers may have made the playoffs. Im not sure if he wanted out, or if the team had budget problems. In my mind he wants to just get out of denver, first of all they aren't that good and secondy, and probably more importantly the death of his teammate, who died in his arms.

He didn't want to play for Green Bay. "In 2006 Walker, backed by new agent Kennard McGuire, stated that he would not play for the Green Bay Packers again and would retire if he was not traded. "

I didn't even know he was around the other guy when he died... anyway, "On December 31, 2007 Walker stated that he is unhappy with the Broncos and wishes to be traded. He also stated that he would like to return to Green Bay,". The last sentence was kinda funny.

I wouldn't mind if he came back, another good player isn't a bad thing. They said it's unlikely because of the breakout year by Greg Jennings and James Jones, but whatever, there's no problem in having more good guys and I know they have the money.

I think they're still not good.
I mean...Devin Hester only wins games everyone once in a while.
I guess we'll see their offense coming up.

@Captkirby, I know all the top NFL teams are close.
But Washington and Tennessee are not top teams.

Yeah man, but i think he would have to take a pay cut to come back i think, because i really see Koren Robinson turning it on, and he's a great Kick return guy. I actually only read the report on NFL.com that just said about how Darren williams died and thats sort of why he wants out etc. Until you said that i never even knew he wanted to return to Green Bay. I geuss it would make sense, considering how good they are this year. If they sign him i tihnk they will prolly trade Ruvell Martin or Karlyle holiday for a few draft picks, maybe trade up for a better DB selection.

Damnit Ben.. Oh well. It's really a shame Willie has been out, went down when he had the most yards in the league iirc. That 30~ yard run by that QB whose name I don't even remember (which shows how god damn unimportant he is) was complete fucking bullshit.

While that was a good ending to the Steelers/Jags game, David Garrard better pull his shit together for next game b/c playing like ass like he did today is not going to bode well for him against teams like the Patriots/Colts

Ben threw the game away with those two pointless passes...

Garrard made the game with his run at the end...

IMO, the Jaguars stepped up, even when the Steelers had the momentum after the pass interference and touchdown. They deserved to win the game.
