The only explanation is that hockey is fixed like wrestling.
I know...seriously would it kill them to get some competent people right?Calm your shit. I don't see anyone saying they're happy that they're moving. Fact is, Goldwater Institute is fucking up rather drastically and the handling of the Phoenix Coyotes franchise has been a disgrace and a disaster. There seems to be no future for them here, unless Hulsizer (sp?) is willing to put up with this bullshit.
Although a glimmer a hope is that Biznasty tweeted that the team will be back. Then again, it's Biznasty.
Hats off to the Coyotes fans for putting up with this bullshit for this long.
As much fun as it is to call him a choker and Lolongo and whatever, I'm definitely not gonna blame Luongo for that loss. The 1st Hossa goal he probably should've had, but the 2nd and 3rd were basically perfect shots that the defense let get set up by the hawks, and he really had no chance at all on those. The 4th...if you let a guy like Hossa get behind your defense, there's little hope for your goalie at that point. It was an absolutely perfect shot that Luongo might as well have gone to the bench for.
Blame the poor D, not Luongo (no I'm not just saying this to try and get Luongo in game 6)
With that said, I feel like the Canucks will finally drop the bullshit in game 6 and just absolutely waste the Hawks, but here's hoping that it doesn't happen.
I wonder if Vancouver even has the character to regroup from this. I honestly think they have every reason to give schneider a shot in net, but everyone knows that they won't start anyone but Luongo unless Luongo is dead.
It's pretty well documented that Vancouver has breakdowns when things don't go their way. I predicted this could happen and THE NEXT FUCKING GAMES it happened! Vancouver is a great team but doesn't roll with the punches as well as they could. Take off your fanboy blinders, there is no reason why vancouver should have lost as badly as they did the last two games other than complete breakdowns caused by a somewhat chippy and dirty chicago team. Vancouver is a victim of hockey trolling, it's obvious to any ignoramus.
Well documented my ass. They had their whole early season melting down, and still came back as Presidents Trophy winners. I know the whole argument "regular season =/= playoffs" but the fact that they barely broke .500 while being outscored and outgunned in the beginning games and still managed to overcome it, doesn't scream "MELT-FUCKING-DOWN."
And did you just call Chicago chippy and dirty? Did you not see the Torres' hit? Jesus Christ, you really don't know who's on their roster. Even as a Canucks fan I can say that their style of play doesn't come close to being the Ducks or the Flyers. I don't know what kind of game you've been watching, but you've been pulling these "well documented" facts out of your ass.
Oh and take off your Calgary Flames beer goggles.
Explain how else their breakdown in discipline and massive team defense breakdowns have come about if I am wrong.
Simply because the Chicago Blackhawks have rallied around Seabrook's hit and are motivated to win. And that the Canucks aren't as motivated to win since they had a 3 game cushion. Combined with the fact that the Canucks have been playing sloppy hockey especially on their defensive end, and that the Blackhawks are willing to pounce on them, makes for a shitty one sided hockey game.
Also, I heard Schneider is quite good. Luongo is rattled, it might send a message to the team to play the backup. Almost any other team would consider very strongly a good backup for LESS than what Luongo has been responsible for. Yeah, you're right, his defense was bullshit but if you want the cup your goalie has to be able to stand on his head. Just look at the Boston/Montreal game last night, Thomas kept them in it through an absolute shitstorm and they managed to come back and win it!
As did Luongo in the first few games. Compared to throwing a rookie to the Chicago wolves in their arena, I'd rather have Luongo playing, hopefully with a solid defense behind him.
