Shaymin Event coming to the US

The dates are from Sunday, February 8, 2009 until Saturday, February 14, 2009. at Toys'R'Us
Here are the Specs:
Ball: Cherish Ball
Level: 50
Held Item: Micle Berry (New Berry! 1st Release!)
Moves: Seed Flare, Aromatherapy, Substitute, Energy Ball
In addition to Shaymin being given out, you will also recieve a Poster for Giritina and the Sky Warrior and a $5 off coupon off any Pokemon DS Game!
Also, If you trade Shaymin to Platinum (March 22nd 2009) , you can change its fourm to Sky Forme!

UPDATE - http://www.pokemon.com/ has been updated with the Shaymin download info...That we have known for a week now :-p
 
...I better finish reseting Darkrai soon, because I have that Pikachu Gift from Nintendo World still waiting..

A $5 off coupon for any Pokemon DS game, huh? Will be useful for getting Platinum.
 
Nice. I'll try and get one of these traded to me from someone next month.

You can line Shaymin up in the 'queue' as long as you have enough space left for its wondercard.

However you'd still need to get Manaphy from the delivery man first before you can take Shaymin from him.
 
Yeah, you can. You can have up to two before you have to delete a Wonder Card.

I wonder if this Shaymin will be compatible with the flower to become Skymin.

If you only have one Wondercard on your game, then yes. You can only carry three Wondercards at max.


I gotta finish SRing Deoxys and Darkrai and Manaphy @_@ I don't have any room for Shaymin yet.

Also gotta get a ride home to TRU during those days.
 
Even if you don't want Shaymin, the $5 off Platinum is worth it.

I assume that this would be the release date for the movie as well?
 
Hopefully there's a Toys R Us around here that I can go to. I've missed all the other events so far. :(

Also, I didn't realize until Trytus' post that TRU stood for Toys R Us. >.>

I wouldn't count on it. I want to say that the coupon that they gave out at the Manaphy event last year expired by the end of that month. Who knows though.

Also for those who don't know, you can have 3 Pokemon at the ready to be reset for in the Pokemart. I have Dragonite, Darkrai, and Deoxys in one game and Manaphy, Darkrai, and Deoxys in the other. I need to start resetting. :/

How does one reset event pokemon? Do you just save the game before you take the pokemon? If there's more to it than this, please explain, thank you.

Yeah the coupons have really short windows to use, iirc the Dragonite coupon only lasted those two days, and the Manaphy one wasn't much longer.
 
As usual i dont go to those but its cool to know events are be coming more accessible to people these days. Keep shaymin-s in mind guys as i want a good one
 
Ugh...evil TRU...why the hell can't you just release the damn item over WFC Nintendo? Bastards...

But yeah, looks like I'll be dragging myself to TRU yet again...at least Shaymin is awesome, though unusable in Showdown (both practically and because it's banned). At least people on wifi can't complain about it not being released now...
 
Tomorrow i will have more images for the event...as well as FUTURE events...;-)
(knowing TRU employees/Management is VERY good when it comes to pokemon)
