I think it's quite obvious why they've avoided this concept, you see...well...uh...I don't really know.

It's true. It's really awkward in the anime, because they can't really refer to it as a "tail" and they can't say "ass flames" either.

Oh god that's even worse than magcargo; at least it can counter scyther, moltres, and fire types in general in UU; fire/poison is just godawful if its stats are anything like magcargo's

They stepped really close to it with skuntank (it even uses flamethrower in the final battle against the galactic, lol)
Still, I think the concept of a Fire/Poison Cow that holds naphthenic acid in one stomache, and palmitic acid in another, then mixes them and shoots napalm out its ass would be epic.

I'm actually hoping for a Water/Fire Pokemon above all else. I fire octopus Octillery evolution would be badass if you ask me.
Octillery doesn't really need an Evo, nor one with such a typing; honestly it's a good BP recipient and let's leave it at that.

Water/Fire is actually a pretty good type; it has good STAB and 3 x4 resistances to common offensive types. If anything, it would have to be a Torkoal evolution, considering it's already based off of steam (Which is what first comes to mind when you have Water and Fire). Maybe that would actually give it the push it needs to not suck.
Problem is torkoal is so lackluster because of his fire type
Sticking a water type there does not help because at the end of the day, torkoal still has a weakness to rock and ground... sure he has STAB to hit them with but something like rhyperior will not care, will sub, and will EQ
Water/Fire is not really the best typing, unlike fire/grass and water/grass
Smoke =/= Steam. Torkoal is blowing out smoke from its nostrils, presumably from burning coal (Torkoal) within its furnace-like body.

I mean, why is it so special that it deserves Dex #000. Does it really exist? Or is it all just an inception planted in our minds?

Torkoal burning coal inside its body for energy does however allude to a steam engine, as well the pokedex does make mention of a locomotive. It isn't completely unfounded to relate Torkoal to steam. I'm not saying he is steam incarnate, but a subtle connection is there.
I'm excited to know what Espeon's new ability will be, hopefully something good, since she is my favourite Pokemon <3
Once the game leaks, I'll get myself a copy of the ROM and leave the internet until I finish the Nuzlocke challenge. So, at best, I will know only what leaks and/or is officially revealed before the ROM appears on the internet and hackers start their work.

I somehow doubt that it will be so easy. I heard emulating B/W could be problematic, because of them being DSi Games, partially. Not sure about that, tough.
But I like the idea^^ Maybe, if I´ve time, I´ll do something like that too, but with a comic and the version in which Rankurusu can be caught instead.
B/W are confirmed to be DS games, not DSi games. They're simply enhanced on the DSi.
I've been making a comic of my run in PBR tbh, so it'd be interesting to see some "blind" runs of B/W around, hopefully without my style of comedy of mocking the RNG for letting the opponent CH/Cause 10% Status Effect/Etc. on me.
