5th Gen PRNG Help / Info - Latest: RNG Reporter 9.96.5, PPRNG 1.15.0

Just had a quick read over of this, I need a little clarification lol.

I don't have an AR, and I'm planning on getting a flawless Tornadus. wat do?

What I do know is that I can't verify my seed without an AR, so it's basically gonna be a complete crapshoot until I get the right one yeah? Can't be arsed with that to be honest, since I always get something wrong with my first go at a target. Once spent a whole afternoon trying to get a Zapdos before I noticed I'd been calibrating to the seed I'd got Suicune on the day before so yeah...

Calibrate on something easier to catch first, using Seed to Time to compare your IVs with those of nearby seeds. Then you can use those calibrations and go after Tornadus.

Decimal to Hex converter. Windows calculator does it.

Possible, yes. Difficult, yes. I'm not sure you'll have access to non-cgear since a code is usually used for finding some of the parameters and cgear abuse requires finding IVs. It's going to be hard, but it can be done.

Hm. Well I have a basic guide to it in my thread... It's not the best since I'm not good at explaining, but it can give you basics on what you need to do. :)
 
Can anyone give me some suggestions on searching for my DS Parameters? I'm using a DS Lite and unfortunately I'm running on a flash cart. The parameter code posted earler didn't work for me ): Right now my settings are:

Seconds: 34-45
VCount/RWTimer: 0-FFFF
GxStat/Vframe: 0-F

The search has been going on for 6 hours with still nothing found. Should I change anything or just let it run on until it finds something?

Also, does anyone know if there's an AR code for IV check or seed viewer for the US version of the game? Googled it, but couldn't find squat.

Unless you're using a Japanese cart, you won't be able to find them. RNG Reporter only supports Japanese carts at the moment.

No. It's just like Platinum in that regard.


And I would also like to take the time to point out the difference between C-Gear and non-C-Gear. Non-C-Gear is way easier, but the seeds are heavily encrypted by values exclusive to your version among other things. RNG Reporter does not support Non-C-Gear for English and European carts. Just Japanese.

C-Gear seeds, on the other hand, are not so heavily encrypted but require a delay to be hit. Your version does not matter for your C-Gear seeds. I can use the same C-Gear seeds that I used on my Japanese White on my English Black.

I'm pretty sure both are possible, and other people have done it on both. I successfully RNG'ed non C-gear Pokemon on my TTDS. Going to attempt C-Gear seeds later. The only issue I'm running into with the original cart is AR codes for US versions :P

Does this mean that the MTRNG code is the same for for every trainer no matter what delay/seed you hit? (Kind of like a second SID)? If so, if I do not have an AR could I get someone to ID/SID abuse for MY ID and then check THEIR MTRNG code? Will it be the same?
