Lemee correct myself. You influence the starting IVs the same as you would a wild Pokemon (use an initial frame of 10 for eggs, versus 3 for wild Pokemon).I know I can't RNG for Nature/etc. since Non-C-Gear is still not done, but I've heard of people RNGing Egg IVs at least.
Great, and how am I going to check the IVs of a level 1 pokemon?
Idk why you're RNGing Zoroark's event though, it's perfectly Breedable.
try saving before capture, as that helps increase the chance. Alot of it I find is luck but hope you get it.
Hello, I already had two successes in RNG with Virizion and Terrakion, but now that I started to RNG Kyurem, some problems started apearing.
I want to capture a normal timid Kyurem with 31/22/31/30/31/30 HP (Fire). My Seed is 155A8996 with Frame 3 and Delay 3002. My MAC adress is 497DD1 and I'm using the white Version.
So I started preparing everything to capture Kyurem and saved after standing in front of it. Then I used the EonTimer to know what Delay I hit and updated EonTimer. From there on my problems started. I captured it like 150 times already, but it only had a timid nature like 20 times (I'm using the same timid Elgyem with Synchro which I used to capture Virizion). Either I got extremely unlucky or.. I'm doing something wrong.
Furthermore, the Kyurems which were *not* timid, were VERY often (>50%) modest (And again, I'm using a timid Elgyem at my lead position). And what upsets me the most.. during all these tries, the Kyurem with my wished IVs never showed up. I invested less time for Terrakion/Virizion together then for this Kyurem.
I really don't know what I'm doing wrong.. I'm doing it the exact same way as for the other two. And since my frame is 3, I don't even have to advance it like I had to do for Virizion..
Here's my initial problem for those who didn't read it:

that happens because the PIDRNG's advancement is always the same, if you hit the same seeds. did you try to save\turn yourself in order to advance the PID frame?
Egg RNG is half based on inheritance, and half based on the MTRNG. You can control half, and the rest is luck.
Egg RNG has been figured out for non C-Gear abuse, which will be possible on english games in no time.
Is 5G RNG easier than 4G RNG?
What exactly do you mean with "did you try to save\turn yourself in order to advance the PID frame?"?
If you're asking if I advanced the Frame, then no I didn't. Since this Seed has a Delay of 3002 and Frame 3, I thought I don't have to advance it because its's -3 -1 (+1) = 3.
The initial frame for the PIDRNG is +40 to +60. It applies to all Pokemon encounters, not just eggs.
Does a synchro efffect the nature of Zoroark? I cannot get the desired nature i want even with a pokemon with the ability. I'm getting too many different natures far from the nature i want.
Heh...I see what you did there, OD.
Not yet, but it will be "in no time."
There are two different RNGs in this generation: the IV RNG, which is what you hit your delay for, and the PID RNG, which determines nature/ability/gender and you can't control yet. However, even though you can't control it to get a set nature 100% of the time, you can still advance it by turning, saving, and/or letting the C-Gear run a bit longer and thus land on a different nature than usual.
