Oh sorry, I thought your Ludicolo had Fake Out. I would still use Breloom though
^I don't even get what Ludicolo is doing without Fake-Out though. I thought that was like standard for him.
Is Soak abusing a good strategy in the VGC format, cause the ability to cause an opponent to become extra-weak to Thundurus and loose all their STAB is a wicked idea to me.

It's a bit gimmicky, and is stopped by Storm Drain. Also, many of the Pokemon with Soak either aren't very good, or have better things to be doing.
Actually, Soak is the only water move that isn't absorbed by Storm Drain.
Well then, it's time to contact Bulbapedia about this issue then...
That seems strange, you'd think something listed as a specific exception would have been tested better than that.
Hey guys, I'm planning to attend the Toronto regionals on April 15th. This will be my first VGC and I have some questions. Basically, my only copy of BW is a Japanese copy of Black, and I don't have an English account for anything (only Japanese ones) but the rules say that I must have a North American copy of BW. I can borrow a friend's North American copy of White and put my team there temporarily for the tournament. Can I do this or would there be problems? Thanks.

Scrafty is in the Field group, so all egg move combinations are valid through Smeargle.
I got my plaque for winning the Regional yesterday in the mail, and it is about what the people who won the TCG Regionals or other TCG tournaments got, to my knowledge. Is a medal still supposed to come or is the plaque a replacement? Has anybody else who placed at a Regional gotten their plaque yet?
No medals this year. I've heard many other players have gotten their plaque's already.
Pretty sure Pokemon is done with medals seeing how they originally made medals but changed back to trophies after the medals failed inspection. I don't think we'll be seeing medals from Pokemon anytime soon. (Thank god, we have enough already! :P)
Just for future reference, TCG has received trophies for all their larger tournaments this season. (Small ones for Cities, bigger ones from Fall Regionals and our recent round of State Championships)

Oh and also be aware that spectators are allowed to queue for a while too. But make sure they don't accept a wristband, and point out they're just there to watch. At least until they get asked to leave the queue they'll be fine.

In paris, they specifically said if they were not entering to leave the queuing area, even when it was just railings set up outside.
Liesek told me at RI that the medals were made and were about to be shipped out, but apparently, they count as jewelry and because of that had to follow specific guidelines. The medals passed the original guidelines, but before they were sent out, the guidelines were revised and the medals failed. Seeing how Pokemon failed to get the medals on time to last year's TCG States/Regionals, I think they're just going back to trophies now.
Bah, I want some medals to be pimped out like you were at RI! Can't tape that plaque to myself, it would take away from the point somehow. I guess mein Drifloon Hat should suffice lol. So no more medals at all though?
