Someone suggested ScarfRachi and CB Szicor, but neither can really stop set-up sweepers. Help?
Yes they can. Jirachi can carry 3 Elemental Punches to handle Gyarados, Lucario, and Salamence, while Iron Head can handle Tyranitar. It can also take Draco Meteors. Scizor can revenge kill Salamence and handle non-Babari Tyranitar while U-turning and Pursuiting everywhere, and it's Steel-typing lets it take Draco Meteors also.

I'd acually recommend Jirachi due to your Gyarados weakness or run an Offensive Suicune set with Leftovers.

In Platinum Rotom can be had as soon as you get access to the Old Chateau, which is once you have cut. It's in a TV, and at level 20. You only get one chance, so don't screw up.

How many Attack EVs can I sacrifise off of a Flame Orb SD Heracross, while maintaining the KO's (Or only loosing 1 or 2). I'm currently using 252.

Alright, so I just joined, and I've been trying to get the 100 steak in the battle tower for I don't know how long! I've looked at the records that people have gotten and the distribution of EV's they used. My question is, do the Pokemon that are used by these people with 300+ records have perfect IV's, or are they you're own Pokemon bred at the day care and hatched?

Yeah, they were probably obtained with the RNG in mind, so they'll have perfect or near-perfect IV's. I got a streak of 138 with Peterko's team, so I suggest using that one.

Humm...well that's a bit of a problem them. I'm using a Garchomp, Starmie, Metagross combo all legit and I've gotten to 67 but can't get the 100! And I have a Mac so RNG is out of the question...is it possible to get someone to breed a pokemon with the better IV's and trade it to me lol?

What is the best moveset for a bold Suicune (In Platinum that is)

Also: What are the best counters for Infernape, Salamence and Lucario?(I would be happy if somebody would show me the top 5 of each)

To answer your question, no, Metagross cannot learn it becuase it is genderless. This is because both parents of the baby Pokemon must learn a move that the baby would learn during level-up (only) if it wants to have that move on Level 1. This is how, say, you would get Endeavor on a level 1 Rattata for F.E.A.R. Metagross, however, can only breed with Ditto, and Ditto can't learn any natural moves outside of Transform. Also, Beldum can't learn anything other than Take Down, so you're not going to get anywhere.

If you want a Metagross with Meteor Mash at level 50 (for Standard Cup wireless play), it's simple. Metang learns it at level 48 (not entirely sure), so don't evolve it until it learns Meteor Mash, then evolve it.

Here is Suicune's analysis.

Personally, I am a fan of the infamous Crocune set. Its a great late-game Pokémon assuming all of Suicine's threats are demolished. Suicune also has great longevity, enhanced by Calm Mind+Rest. Just set-up Calm Minds, Rest if necessary, then clean up the opposition with Surf.

Does anyone understand how the RNG for Mac works and want to explain it to me in normal terms lol? I was looking over it, and it confuses the crap out of me!!

I'd probably use Swords Dance on Garchomp if it's for 'OU' play. See the analyses.

EDIT: Rotom can TOAST bread ;-)
Rotom can breed with Ditto. Despite being a unique encounter with the legendary music, Rotom is NOT a legendary.

Are Dusk Balls supposed to have a better effect on Dark typed pokemon? I ask because I was catching Smeargles at night in my Diamond, in Acuity Lakefront, and in the first turn I False Swipe'd the heck out of them, then threw quick balls or Dusk balls. Most quick balls would actually fail, 3 or even 4 times (consuming all 5 first turns). However, the Dusk Balls never failed, even once. Tried too many times for it to be a simple coincidence.

Anybody has any info on this?

Dusk Ball: x4 capture rate at night
Quick Ball: x4 capture rate first 5 turns, x3 second 5 turns, x2...

No, being a Dark-type does not affect the capture rate of a Dusk ball. Smeargle isn't even Dark-type...

The two balls should have the same probability of catching the same Pokemon in the first 5 turns.
