Question about ev training. I lead with a scraggy holding power anklet against a basculin. I then switch out to something else to kill the basculin. From what I undstand the scraggy will receive 6 speed Evs and the other Pokemon receive 2 speed Evs correct? Im only asking this because when I ev trained in platinum you could see your speed stat get +10 or so when you level it up but in black white it is only saying it gets like +1 in speed when scraggy levels up. So if I'm doing it right at what level will scraggy get all of his Evs translated into actual values?
You are doing it right, but in B/W stats are recalculated after every battle.
Is Scizor's bullet punch 80 BP or 90?
90, 40 X 1.5 (STAB) = 60 X 1.5 (Tech) = 90 BP.

I'm bored so I'll ev train any pokemon for free first come first serve I will accept first 3 adn ahs to be on fifth gen.
p.s I get to keep 1 copy too
p.s.s vm me if you want my services

anyone know why in gen 5 unburden isn't activated by trick? It used to work in gen 4 so I'm just wondering if its PO exclusive or if an actual game mechanic changed

How long does it take for one pokemon in your party to catch pokerus from the infected guy in your party?
you just have to put ut infected pokmeon in front slot then battle a random pokemon and run away then check to see if ur pokemon has caught it if it doesn't repeat the process guaranteed won't take long

You can't make them appear more often then they appear. You can run back and forth constantly, but otherwise, there's no way.

Buy LOTS of Max Repels and go around in Victory Road next to the doctor guy. Easy access to outside and healing if you need.

I'm going to be frank, and say that no one's likely to read that entire log. Because its boring to read any log.

But I did read some of it. Or tried to, at least. I decided to stop at the first stupid move I saw. That came turn freaking 1. OHKO'ing a weather starter? For one layer of Hazards? And that starter not being Abomasnow? TTar's useful. It'd be hard to justify that, and I think many people would catch on to that very quickly. Still, prove me wrong, I dare ya.

@Benny: aren't Super Repels more cash effective, as in a higher steps-to-money ratio?

Not every Swampert has the raw power to OHKO Ttar.. Uninvested Swampert never OHKOes uninvested TTar. That, and it was fairly likely that I would just set up SR, because, you know, that's what Swamperts do... But I'll try my best :P

ok so this a while ago in heartgold but im still wondering how can an earthquake miss?? i was battling just for fun over wifi and i send out my electivire and my opponent a nidoking so i decide to use EQ but when my electivire goes and uses it it misses and i couldnt think of a reason why it would miss so can anyone tell me or give an idea as to how it would miss?

well remember this is in HG so no air balloon and brightpowder would be the obvious explenation knowing that person i asked them to take a picture of its summary and no there was no brightpowder

You receive an item with Trick. Unless I misunderstood your question.
Yes as it says in unburdens description that trick should still activate it. In Gen 4 on shoddy battle this happened no problem, yet now Gen 5 on PO it doesn't activate. My question is did unburdens mechanics change from Gen 4 to 5/ does PO just have it wrong/ or did shoddy have it wrong in Gen 4. Furthermore has anyone tried this in game in either generation?

Neither you or your opponent made any worthwhile plays and the actual battle is not very exciting, even with good commentary it wouldn't be better than average.

He had no weather enducer of his own and perhaps his opponent didn't think he had SP, either way it wouldn't be terrible to be less of a jerk and suggest constuctive criticism.

While it didn't affect the weather war, to lose a Pokemon turn 1 for the sake of SR is not good. Given that Swampert is likely to pack a powerful water type move, and TTar is part Rock, it isn't exactly a very smart move to leave TTar in, especially since Swampert can go Mixed to hit on TTar's physical side which isn't boosted by Sandstorm (and taking a SE hit isn't exactly very nice, though whether that's worth it for SR or not is a personal preference sort of thing). Since that happened turn 1, I said it would put a lot of people off, like me for instance. He asked whether it would be good, I told him my opinion. So don't call me a jerk, alright? Especially when we both came to the same conclusion that the log wouldn't be very good for a Warstory, and you weren't any nicer about it.

At any rate, it's time for my question: given there is no item to prolong Gravity's effect (unlike Light Clay for Screens, for example), is there any way to help keep Gravity up, or a strategy to make it easier for a Pokemon to set it up? Smogon's guide doesn't help too much, the best I can think of is a Reuniclus carrying TR.

Coming to the same conclusion has nothing to do with why you had to call anyone stupid. None the less I appolgize about the "jerk" comment as I just don't like when people could clearly Of chosen better wording.

As to the gravity question it is very difficult as the pokes that set it up cam rarely abuse it, leaving you wasting 2/5 turns. I think special Jirachi sets and abuses it nicely with a set of:

Thunder
Gravity
Psychic/Flash canon
Calm mind

As far as bulk dusclops/noir and chansey/blissey provide a lot of bulk

in my opinion eviolite dusclops is probably your best bet since it can not only set up but also abuse gravity with a set consisting of
gravity/pain split/earthquake/???
the last move slot could be anything from a coverage move to maybe trick room? very gimicky but then again whats wrong with that?

How do you teach Swords Dance to Shedinja in Gen V? I've leveled it up to 25, evolved, and then taught Ninjask Swords Dance like every online search tells me to do. Is it even still possible?

If I spot a mistake in an uploaded analysis (such as a spacing or grammar error) who do I tell or where do I go to inform someone?

For example, the Parasect analysis used to mention "Herbivore users", but it was recently corrected to "Sap Sipper users"

(I personally think Herbivore makes more sense as the name, but Sap Sipper is the official translation)
