From Untiereds to Ubers

The unfortunate thing about there being over 800 Pokémon in existence is that some are bound to be left in the dust. For Smogon, these neglected Pokémon fall into the "Untiered" category, due to their lack of unique or strong traits that make a Pokémon viable. Many Pet Mods are created with the sole purpose of buffing those Untiered Pokémon, and others like them, so that they can be viable in the higher tiers. This begs the question, though: what would happen if we buffed these Pokémon so much that they could even do battle with the gods of Pokémon?

Well, welcome to From Untiereds to Ubers, where we aim to do just that! The idea of this Pet Mod is to, as the name suggests, take completely unviable mons and give them so many new tools that they would be banned to, or at least be viable in, Ubers. Ideally, buffs should be less focused on crazy stat increases, and more about exploring unique ways of making a Pokémon good enough to compete among the best of their kind, whether that be through expanded movepools or access to new or underutilized Abilities and type combinations.

Rules
  • Have fun with your submissions! A lot of Pet Mods are designed around OU, and thusly require some restraint for their submissions. Not here! While there will be a couple limits (as listed below), remember that the Ubers tier is filled with ridiculously overpowered Pokémon, so go ahead and indulge in whatever brokenness you desire.
  • With each slate, you can submit up to three Pokémon. These may be any of the Pokémon in the list above, as long as they haven't been a winning submission yet.
  • During the voting phase, you may vote for up to five submissions. You may self-vote, but only once per slate.
  • Only one custom Move or Ability per submission. The custom Moves and Abilities should also be a clone of an existing Move/Ability, unless you provide a code for them.
    • Custom Abilities must not be the effects of two or more abilities combined. This would effectively give the Pokémon two abilities, which isn't a very creative or fun way of making a Pokémon broken. Keep any custom Abilities actually custom.
  • As far as the more busted abilities are concerned, I will establish some limits now:
    • I will allow Delta Stream, but not Desolate Land and Primordial Sea. From my experience with Ubers, it's clear that the latter two are too broken to just get thrown on any Pokémon, and I don't want this Pet Mod to become overrun by the weather wars. However, Delta Stream could make for interesting submissions considering its current absence in Ubers, and its effect of canceling Primal weather will be invaluable to checking the Primals.
    • If using any clones of Huge Power, I am establishing a limit of 70 to any affected base attacking stat. As both Mega Mawile and Medicham have shown us, these abilities have the potential to be way too broken without some sort of limit.
    • Parental Bond is allowed, but I would appreciate some flavor reasoning if used.
    • Shadow Tag and Arena Trap are not allowed. Both Dugtrio and Gothitelle have shown how trapping is generally uncompetitive and not fun.
    • Water Bubble is allowed with a limit of 80 on both base attacking stats.
    • Fur Coat and any clones have a limit of 90 on any affected base defending stat.
    • Fluffy and any clones have a limit of 100 on any affected base defending stat (i.e. Def for contact moves and SpD for non-contact moves)
    • Wonder Guard is banned. No ifs, ands, or buts about it (except on Shedinja).
Of course, submission rules are subject to change. I'm reasonable, so if you guys disagree and want one of these abilities unbanned or a limit lifted, I will hear you out. Just remember, we're designing for Ubers, not Anything Goes.

Custom Ability Description (if applicable):
Stats:
New Moves:

Custom Move Information (if applicable):
Custom Move Description (what effects it has):
Competitive (niche in Ubers):
Pokémon: Marshadow
Typing: Ghost / Fighting
Ability: Technician
Technician: This new ability would boost the power of the user's moves by 1.5x, but only if their Base Power was 60 or less.
Stats: 90 / 125 / 80 / 90 / 90 / 125 | 600 BST
New Moves: Close Combat, Spectral Thief
Spectral Thief: Ghost, Physical, 90 BP, 100% Acc, 10 PP
Description: This move would steal the target's stat boosts, then deal damage.
Competitive (niche in Ubers): With the simple addition of the Fighting-type and two amazing new STABs, Marshadow goes from one of the worst Pokémon ever to one of the best!

Council (PM me to apply):
Hoothoot
Jamis361 (Creator and Co-leader)
Slaking
OM! (Thread Owner, Co-leader and Discord Server Owner)
Mega Gallade
SteelixPrismGX
Mega Charizard X
charizard8888 (Coder)
Shuckle
Scoopapa (Coder)

We have a Discord and a Spreadsheet!
This post hosts all the code (in case of server issues).

One last thing: try to keep your changes within the bounds of the Pokémon itself. I'm sure if Magcargo was a fast special sweeper, he would be great! But that doesn't really fit his design, or the point of him, really. Also, for non-legendaries, let's keep the BSTs at or below 600. That way, we can focus more on making a Pokémon great through more interesting ways.

Primarily serving as an all-in-one at the cost of not excelling in any one thing. Samtendo09

Ability: Light Power
is a Pre-Contributor
I really wasn't expecting a Pet Mod about Ubers, less so involving making the Untiered into Ubers level. I'll like to see where this is going, and I couldn't help but imagine an odd scenario where the likes of Delibird, Unown and Luvdisc going head-to-head with the god-like Pokemon.

My only concern is that Silvally is mechanically similar to Arceus, except that Silvally doesn't change Type from the Z-Crystals, and with the BST limit in mind, Arcues would be still more powerful overall. As a result Silvally might be still overshadowed by Arceus unless we give Silvally tools that even Arceus doesn't really have.

Samtendo09 Silvally is kind of in a rough spot. BST limit isn't a hard limit, especially since Silvally is a Legendary. Personally, I think the most logical thing to do would be to not slate Silvally at all since he's literally Arceus but worse, but there are ways to make Silvally somewhat distinct from Arceus through stats, moves, etc. which is why I left him on the list.

Pika Xreme I would agree with you on slating cuz that type works well in other mods but the problem I saw is that there would probably be a lot of subs for some mons and not many for others which would lead to unbalanced slates. i might change it down the line so thanks for input
umm but yeah so i'm thinking it'd cool to group megas together like counterpart mons are gonna be but i wasn't totally decided which is why i left it out of the first post. It's kind of a challenge to make both the base and the mega broken in different ways so ppl actually use the mega over the regular, but I can get some feedback from you guys on this

that reasoning is totally flawed because once a mon has won it presumably cant be submitted again.

Ok well by popular demand: I'm gonna change the slating rules, you can submit any 3 Pokémon you want. With that, Slate 1 has begun! Feel free to submit whatever you choose.

Dewgong
Type: Water / Ice
Stats: 90 / 82 / 82 / 115 / 119 / 112 | 600 BST
Abilities: Thick Fat / Hydration | Adaptability (HA)
Moveset: +Freeze Dry, +Focus Blast, +Calm Mind, +U-turn
Reasoning: Water and Ice are collectively only resisted by Water types, and STAB Freeze Dry deals with most of those very well, making Water / Ice a godly offensive type for Ubers. Thanks to Adaptability it hits as hard as Kyurem-W and can OHKO common pokemon like Yveltal, Arceus Ground, Mega Salamence, and Giratina-O with a +1 boost or Specs; it also 2HKOes most sets of the primals and Necrozma-DM with no boost. It can easily run Specs or Calm Mind sets, with a speed tier above most Ubers and decent SpD.

Furret
Type: Normal / Ground
Stats: 120 / 115 / 85 / 70 / 75 / 135 | 600 BST
Abilities: Moxie / Keen Eye | Skill Link (HA)
Moveset: +Earthquake, +Tail Slap, +Rock Blast, +Bone Rush,
Reasoning: Furret is a fast offensive pivot with a decently good STAB combo, if somewhat low power for Ubers. Skill Link is nice for Sash Deoxys / Marshadow, and Lugia's multiscale. 135 is a great speed tier, ahead of Mewtwo-X, Ultra Necrozma, and Skymin. Coil pairs well with its stats and various inaccurate multi-hit moves.

Wailord
Type: Water / Flying
Stats: 255 / 105 / 65 / 105 / 35 / 35 | 600 BST
Abilities: Thick Fat / Drizzle | Delta Stream (HA)
Moveset: +Hurricane, +Defog, +Haze, +Milk Drink
Reasoning: Many, many reasons. Mostly it counters Groudon-P and Necrozma-DM like few others could.

Here are my subs to start us off:

Pokémon: Wigglytuff
Typing: Normal / Fairy
Abilities: Thick Fat / Competitive / Magic Bounce
Stats: 180 / 80 / 85 / 105 / 90 / 60 | 600 BST
New Moves:
Puff Up, Moonblast, Slack Off, Boomburst
Puff Up: Normal, Status, – BP, –% Acc, 20 PP (32 max)
Description: Raises the user's Def, SpA, and SpD by one stage each.
Competitive (niche in Ubers): Wigglytuff brings a unique form of set up to the Ubers tier: defensive set up. While seen somewhat with mons like Z-Geo Xern and Calm Mind Rest Talk Ogre, it has yet to be explored quite like this. Tuff would be able to tank hits thanks to its natural bulk, and then be able to buff both its defenses, while increasing the power of both Boomburst or Moonblast, and its choice of coverage. Slack Off is a necessity, and in combination with Magic Bounce, this mon would be nigh unkillable once it gets going (save for a crit). Yveltal and Zygarde give Tuff perfect set up opportunities. Once set up, Tuff can beat down nearly the entire tier, and its immunity to Taunt and Toxic make it a potent threat.

Pokémon: Drifblim
Typing: Ghost / Flying
Abilities: Speed Boost / Unburden / Flare Boost
Stats: 150 / 105 / 56 / 120 / 64 / 105 | 600 BST
New Moves:
Puff Up, Blimp Blast, Air Slash, Hurricane, Flamethrower, Fire Blast, Heat Wave
Blimp Blast: Flying, Special, – BP, 100% Acc, 15 PP (24 max)
Description: Damage increases the faster the user is than the target (Electro Ball formula).
Competitive (niche in Ubers): Another puffer, but more offensively focused this time. better description later

W H I S C A S H M O N E Y
Typing: Water / Ground
Ability: Simple / Oblivious | HA: Wonder Skin
Stats: 130 HP / 148 Atk / 83 Def / 76 SpA / 91 SpD / 80 Spe
BST: 608
New Moves: +Slack Off +Swords Dance
Competitive Niche: Whiscash combines one of the best defensive typings in the metagame with good bulk to be.....one of the most threatening sweepers in the metagame? Whiscash has the bulk to set up on threats like Mega Gengar and then proceed to then tear apart teams with its access to Simple Dragon Dance. With this combo, it can quicky run through offensively inclined teams, or it can opt for Swords Dance to do a number to defensive ones. Its held back by being unable to fully handle defensive behemoths such as Lugia and Giratina, while also being hilariously counterswept by Choice Scarf Marshadow even at +2. Even with these flaws, Whiscash can prove to be a menace to build against.

Watchog
Typing
: Normal / Ghost
Ability: No Guard / Illuminate | HA: Analytic
Stats: 106 HP / 130 Atk / 90 Def / 156 SpA / 90 SpD / 110 Spe (Great stats you got there)
BST: 670
New Moves: +Hyper Voice +Shadow Claw +Phantom Force +Shadow Sneak
Competitive Niche: Watchog is here to wreck face. A stunning wallbreaker with Nasty Plot and 156 SpA while having the coveted Normal Ghost typing immediately gives it a fantastic niche as a check to the likes of Mega Gegar, Marshadow, and other Necrozma DM. It has plenty of hilarious tech within its movepool to abuse like Hypnosis, various coverage, Twave and Super Fang. Flaws include its not the bulkiest thing around, and while it outpaces the 90 Speed tier, faster threats like Ultra Necrozma and Mega Salamence can threaten it.

BST: 653
New Moves: +Swords Dance +Hydro Pump +U-turn +Grass Knot
Competitive Niche: A Primal Groudon check. A very competent one at that. This niche is probably so big and obvious, I shouldn't need to explain it, but know that this Pokémon would effectively make PDon quiver in its primordial boots.

Pokémon: Regigigas
Typing: Normal
Abilities: Slow Start / Maker of Titans
Custom Ability Description: Maker of Titans - Boosts the power the user's of Rock, Ice and Steel moves by 1.2x.
Stats: The usual.
New Moves: Rest, Protect
Competitive (niche in Ubers): Normal Regigigas stuff except you don't have to wait. Smack things with strong physical moves. Also it gets boosts on Stone Edge and Ice Punch so thats neat

Pokémon: Basculin-Red
Typing: Water/Ghost
Abilities: Reckless/Adaptability/Mold Breaker
Stats: 120/122/65/80/95/118 (600)
New Moves: Shadow End, every Recoil move that it doesn't already get (except Volt Tackle and Light of Ruin), Swords Dance, Dragon Dance
Custom Move Information (if applicable): Shadow End - Physical Ghost-type, 120 BP, 100% Acc, 15/24 PP, user takes 33% in recoil, 190 BP Never-Ending Nightmare
Custom Move Description (what effects it has): ghost recoil move
Competitive (niche in Ubers): just spam shadow end and hjk, gg.

New Moves: Skill Swap, Wood Hammer, Hammer Arm, Ice Hammer, Stealth Rock, Bulk Up, Recover, Rest, Protect

Pokémon: Heatmor
Typing: Fire/Dark
Abilities: Gluttony / Flash Fire / Tough Claws
Stats: 85/137/69/135/69/105 | 600 BST
New Moves: Drill Run, Earth Power, U-Turn, Dark Pulse, Grass Knot
Competitive (niche in Ubers): I focused on an intriguing move Heatmor gets: Fire Lash. Fire Lash is a very spammable attack that can break walls and limit switchins. It can also score KOs that it would not do had it not had Fire Lash. Its special attacking side is okay as well, but there isn't anything special there, and it also doesn't get any Tough Claws boost (besides Grass Knot). Heatmor can be walled by many support Arceus like Water, Ground, Dragon, and Fairy.

Pokémon: Kecleon
Typing: Normal/Ghost
Abilities: Color Change / Protean
Stats: 80/100/85/100/120/85 | 570 BST
New Moves: Pursuit
Competitive (niche in Ubers): Kecleon is an interesting mon because of its wide physical and special movepool, so I think it would be a good candidate in Ubers. It can switch into Lunala's Moongeist Beam and Pursuit trap it, as well as revenge kill mons with Fake Out + Shadow Sneak. It can also go for a more defensive set with Recover and Stealth Rock. On the other hand, Kecleon's physical bulk is lacking and its offensive stats are low compared to other wallbreakers.

Pokémon: Gumshoos
Typing: Ground/Dark
Abilities: Stakeout / Strong Jaw / Adaptability
Stats: 90/120/90/65/90/45 | 500 BST
New Moves: Knock Off,
Competitive (niche in Ubers): Gumshoos' new Ground/Dark typing has the very useful Electric and Psychic immunities, as well as Poison and Ghost resistances, allowing it to force more switches and take full advantage of Stakeout for truly powerful Earthquakes and Knock Offs. However, it is terribly slow, and can be walled by the likes of Yveltal and Buzzwole.

Slow Start can actually be used to replace the foe's ability and be an annoying support.
This takes too much setup for very little payoff - special attackers don't care for Attack drops and walls don't care for either Attack or Speed drops, so I don't think it deserves much of a mention here.

might want to remove untiered 'mons with a mega as all megas are tiered

Pokémon: Solrock
Typing: Rock / Fairy
Abilities: Levitate
Stats: 95 HP / 105 Atk / 130 Def / 95 SpA / 105 SpD / 70 Spe | 600 BST
New Moves: Recover, Volt Switch. Moonblast, Paleo Wave
Paleo Wave: 85BP Special Rock move with 20% to lower attack by 1 - already coded into Showdown
Competitive (niche in Ubers): This thing already just goes through Primal Groudon without buffs. Now solve its U-Turn weakness and make it have better defensive stats for Ubers and it becomes a monster. Losing Psychic means its no longer pressured by U-Turn, Yveltal, or the many ghost types in the tier. It can gain momentum on any of the many Fliers with Rock + Volt Switch, and the prime ground type can't hurt it - meaning Solrock can put Toxic or Stealth Rocks up. Fairy typing prevents Dragon Tail and also maintains a Fighting neutrality. Marshadow doesn't want to stay in due to potential Wisp or Moonblast but can chip it easily. It dies to any Steel move, including the ever common Necrozma-DM. It also doesn't have amazing matchups with CM or Ghost Arceus.

Pokémon: Electivire
Typing: Electric
Abilities: Motor Drive / Neuroforce / Teravolt
Stats: 75 HP / 138 Atk / 67 Def / 115 SpA / 85 SpD / 130 Spe | 610 BST
New Moves: Fusion Flare, Fusion Bolt, Volt Tackle, Freeze Shock, Ice Beam, Icy Burn Earth Power, Dark Pulse, Knock Off, Play Rough, Close Combat, Flying Press, U-Turn, Meteor Mash, Energy Ball, Calm Mind, Bulk Up
Competitive (niche in Ubers): If this thing just got a speed buff, alone, it would be actually good. Now, it abuses even more ridiculous mixed coverage options and Neuroforce in order to threaten just about anything. If something thinks it can wall it, Electrvire can always run a Neuroforce boosted coverage move to end them. It can then set up on the switch and Turn out. Fires off strong Z-Volt Tackles or Freeze Shocks if using the most likely BoltBeam coverage. Threatens Arceus and Marshadow with a speed creeping Taunt and Turn, respectively. However, Electrivire can't cover everything in 1 set, and its most often used Electric / Ice has to rely on the relatively weak Ice Punch or a worse SpA. It also doesn't like any sort of priority or Scarfers that outspeed it.

Pokémon: Regice
Typing: Ice
Abilities: Clear Body / Frozen Body
Custom Ability Description (if applicable): Frozen Body heals the user during Rain or Hail by 1/4 max HP.
Stats: 100 / 50 / 100 / 140 / 230 / 50 | 670 BST
New Moves: Freeze Dry, Earth Power, Calm Mind, Trick Room, Recover
Competitive (niche in Ubers): Remember when Regice was actually used in Gen 3 Ubers? Neither do I. Regice can switch in to any special attacker with impunity and threaten them (instead of using the Blissey line), especially Kyorge. Still suffers from a Rocks weakness so its pressued easily. And with a poor type and physical defense it'll switch out quite a bit. Also Trick Room.
This takes too much setup for very little payoff - special attackers don't care for Attack drops and walls don't care for either Attack or Speed drops, so I don't think it deserves much of a mention here.
doubles
also stuff like Ho-Oh, future Fur Coat users, and the primals rely on their ability even as walls
that reasoning is totally flawed because once a mon has won it presumably cant be submitted again.
the problem is that more popular mons will continue to get submissions if/when they fail and will get too many subs even in the round they win

Pokémon: Slaking
Typing: Normal
Abilities: Truant (Now effects BOTH sides while Slaking is in play. The loafing turn for enemies might not be the same as Slaking’s) (Intimidate)
Stats: 150 / 160 / 100 / 75 / 85 / 100 | 670 BST (Swapped 20 SpAtk to SpDef)
New Moves: Wish, U-Turn, Spikes, Quick Attack
Competitive (niche in Ubers): Truant is annoying! Sacrificing a turn of your own to force the ENEMY to switch, Slaking is a great user of U-Turn, or racking up residual damage with Toxic or getting a nice wish off. Is it perfect? No, but a sweeper will find itself loafing about the turn after Slaking switches in, a perfect time to revenge it. Slaking itself will probably force itself to switch as well, but putting a turn of Truant on a Xerneas after it sets up ends it’s sweep before it begins. In short the loading turn occurs if the Pokémon acted on the turn truant becomes active. If a mob sets up on the turn Slaking gets in, then they have to wait a turn to start sweeping.

Or you could ignore all of that and just go for Intimidate.

If new Truant is too much, Because it is incredibly controversial, I will replace it with something else.

In my opinion, I'd drop its speed 15 and increase its attack by 5. This way you hit 600 even and Electivire hits harder with a great Speed Tier.

p sure we aint doin doubles here
also skill swap is a pretty niche move that doesnt work so well if your desired partner is ko'd

also stuff like Ho-Oh, future Fur Coat users, and the primals rely on their ability even as walls
It still requires a turn to Skill Swap. Ho-oh can just Toxic or Sacred Fire burn Regigigas, Fur Coat walls can Toxic, and primals still get their weather because Regigigas gets their ability and uses it.

In my opinion, Slaking is Ubers already with just Intimidate, it doesn't need any stat shuffling or new moves (although U-Turn is pretty useful). Intimidate with 150/100 bulk is fantastic physically, even unboosted, and it has good offensive presence already. Putting a Choice Band on this thing would make it break through walls easily:
252 Atk Choice Band Slaking Return vs. 252 HP / 64 Def Arceus-Water: 237-279 (53.3 - 62.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252 Atk Choice Band Slaking Return vs. 252 HP / 176+ Def Yveltal: 232-274 (50.8 - 60%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252 Atk Choice Band Slaking Return vs. 252 HP / 56+ Def Groudon: 190-225 (47 - 55.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock

Stats: 100 / 0 / 100 / 140 / 230 / 30 | 600 BST

Might as well throw my hat into the ring

Pokémon: Sandslash
Typing: Ground
Abilities: Sand Stream / Sand Rush
Stats: 105 / 135 / 110 / 45 / 100 / 101 (+30 HP, +35 Atk, +45, SpD, +36 Spe, BST: 586)
New Moves: Flare Blitz, Shore Up, Spikes
Competitive (niche in Ubers): A very good hazard and weather setter, Sandslash can very quickly become a problem thanks to a well rounded combination of bulk, speed and power. Sandslash beats both hazard setters and removers alike, including Necrozma-DM, Dialga, Excadrill, Mega-Diance, and Ferrothorn/Skarmory/Celesteela if running Flare Blitz. Most weather setters in Unbers are unviable due to the ubiquity of the Primals, but Sandslash is a fantastic check to Primal Groudon thanks to a STAB Earthquake, recovery, and enough bulk to not fear any move other than Overheat. It struggles with four-moveslot syndrome, and is absolutely destroyed by Primal Kyorge, however.

Pokémon: Unfezant
Typing: Flying / Ice
Abilities: Super Luck / Moxie (HA: Speed Boost)
Stats: 80 / 168 / 80 / 65 / 55 / 113 (+53 Atk, +20 Spe BST: 561)
New Moves: Brave Bird, Close Combat, Fake Out, Icicle Crash, Ice Shard, Meteor Mash, Swords Dance
Competitive (niche in Ubers): Based on the idea of a "glass cannon", Unfezant even gets a new type to represent this (Ice being the closest to glass). While a base 168 Attack stat is high for Ubers, it is not unseen, and does not make Unfezant a good Pokémon by itself. Probably the most intriguing part of Unfezant is its two abilities; Speed Boost is one of the best sweeping/cleaning abilities, while Moxie lends Unfezant more to wallbreaking. Both sets benefit tremendously with access to Unfezant's new fantastic offensive move pool and set-up opportunities. A 4x Stealth Rock weakness and being walled by one of the most common Pokémon in the tier, Necrozma-DM, hold Unfezant back slightly, but it definitely cause damage to even a well-made team.

Oooh, making horrible pokes broken? Count me in!

Pokémon: Bastiodon
Typing: Steel
Abilities: Sturdy / Filter / Bulletproof
Stats: 117 HP / 82 Atk / 168 Def / 30 SpA / 156 SpD / 27 Spe | 580 BST
New Moves: Anchor Shot, Gyro Ball, King's Shield, Knock Off, Parting Shot, Slack Off, Spikes
Competitive (niche in Ubers): Say hello to what might be the best Xerneas counter in the whole game. Thanks to its absurd bulk, Xerneas can't make a dent in this walking shield due to its great defenses and awesome defensive abilities that can mitigate any coverage it has. Bulletproof ensures not even Focus Blast variants of Xern can break past it, while Filter can reduce damage from all its super effective coverage. In addition to that, it also can trap passive foes with Anchor Shot and wear them down with the combination of Slack Off, King's Shield, and Toxic. Other utility options include Knock Off to remove pesky Eviolites from Chansey, Parting Shot to act as a bulky pivot, and Spikes to gain chip damage on foes. However, its very low offenses and vulnerability to Primal Groudon should be able to keep this thing in check.

Pokémon: Rampardos
Typing: Rock / Fighting
Abilities: Mold Breaker / Rock Head / Sheer Force
Stats: 91 HP / 175 Atk / 87 Def / 50 SpA / 84 SpD / 113 Spe | 600 BST
New Moves: Accelerock, Close Combat, Drain Punch, Mach Punch, Gunk Shot, Boulder Crash, Knock Off
Custom Move Information (if applicable): Boulder Crash, Rock-type, Physical, 110 BP, 85%, 8 PP
Custom Move Description (what effects it has): 10% chance to lower foe's Defense
Competitive (niche in Ubers): Rampardos now finally has a chance to shine as a powerful wallbreaker due to its obscene base attack stat, which only 3 pokemon are higher than it in Ubers, and two of them can't even hold other items. Its potent offensive typing allows it to shred through many bulky Pokemon in the tier such as Ho-Oh, Lugia, and Ferrothorn. It can use Sheer Force to abuse its new toy in Boulder Crash, which lets it hit a lot of pokemon super effectively as many Ubers are weak to Rock. Rock Head can also be used alongside Head Smash for a powerful nuke that ignores recoil. Despite this, its typing is horrible defensively, leaving it weak to many pokemon, as well as having low defenses, which makes it easy to revenge kill.

These may be any of the Pokémon in Untiered, as long as they haven't been a winning submission yet.
  • During the voting phase, you may vote for up to three submissions. You may self-vote, but only once per slate.
  • If two or more submissions tie, a tie-break will proceed during the submission or discussion slate.
  • Only one custom Move or Ability per submission. The custom Moves and Abilities should also be a clone of an existing Move/Ability, unless you provide a code for them. Custom Abilities must not be the effects of two or more abilities combined.
No ifs, ands, or buts about it. Except on Shedinja, but we'll get there when we get there.
Of course, submission rules are subject to change. I'm reasonable, so if you guys disagree and want one of these abilities unbanned or a limit lifted, I will hear you out. Just remember, we're designing for Ubers, not Anything Goes.

But that doesn't really fit his design, or the point of him, really. Also, for non-legendaries, I'd prefer to keep the BSTs below 600. That way, we can focus more on making a Pokémon great through more interesting ways.
