I think so, I've seen a lot of Dragon Dance + Fake Out/Follow Me/etc. partner teams from Japanese players in particular.
I seem to get a lot angrier when I'm alone with my DS than when I'm battling someone in person.
Not too many DCs for me so far, probably a little under a third... Though, I think the connection on my end dropped twice before getting to the team preview screen, so sorry if I did that to anyone.

This loss infuriated me so much, even more than all the DC's today. I managed to stop myself from DCing, but it was tough lol.

It doesn't even seem like major hax and I could be wrong since I haven't watched it back yet... But at the time it was literally like every time I was about to KO his Metagross I would suffer some kind of misfortune that meant he survived and I just couldn't beat him. The critical hit Bullet Punch was also REALLY lame!

My only loss of the tournament so far. We both played pretty terribly, with big misplays on turns 1 and 2 by me. I have no idea why I protected with Metagross on turn 1; I have never done that on PO before vs TopCress leads. I tend to just double target Hitmontop with Metagross and Rotom-H, so I really have no idea what I was thinking there. On turns 2 and 3 I was expecting Tyranitar to come in to take the what I thought was a pretty obvious Zen Headbutt, which was pretty flawed logic again since he didn't even know I had Zen Headbutt at this point and wouldn't want to risk the Meteor Mash on the switch-in. I think I missed a Meteor Mash but it didn't have much of an effect, if any.

Anyway i'm at about 1730 and if you didn't know my OT already it's CO♥. The only person i've recognized so far is massi.
Shockingly enough I've only found one battle so far (against a Euan, 1701 rating), and the battle was close. I only won by some shameful parafusion after a tide-turning misplay. It was gracious of him not to quit.
Anyway, I'm going to have to try everything to get the Wifi connection at my dad's up and working. Otherwise I'll be unable to compete all weekend.

Yea I know.. :/ but will they really crack down on it as hard as they make it seem? Other than DQing you if you have a too high DC rate, I don't see what they can do
Not only your internet, I think it's because the servers are just overloaded. Even when browsing battle videos I have lost connection quite often today.
I don't know about you, but being disqualified is just a a huge "MARTIN LUTHER KING you" in the face. I'm never going to get back those countless hours I spent on the Autumn Friendly.......... lol, just kidding. It's just really annoying to hear that you've been disqualified because your lineup of opponents were incredibly RAINBOWS AND UNICORNS and couldn't take a loss. Last time, some people just got lucky (esp. considering how many of the Top 10 personally admitted they dc'd a couple of games on purpose...), and it'll probably be the same this time.
