League of Legends: Let's Talk About uhhh??

That happened to Dan Dinh in a tournament, was stunned it didn't get fixed after that given that it was a pretty high visibility event(though I can't recall which one now).

my friend (xerath, who took promote idk) finally convinced me to play a normal game with him
i played renekton because he's by far my most comfortable champ, and i picked up first blood by baiting pantheon
no really it was so great
he flashed in right as i healed then i ignited him and used my Q
and i was so happy

But yeah, so basically Graves DCs very early but it wasn't immediately a big deal because we were so far ahead, but then I made some dumb plays getting caught in the jungle, and we lost map awareness because Lulu just ignored everyone who told her to buy wards.
So my item build is kinda screwy because I was only using 5 slots.
This is only a decent game but I felt very proud of myself ;,-((

The legend of SilSol

My favorite Malphite fail is giving first blood instead of getting first blood top lane, all because a point-blank ult failed to pop-up/damage the enemy Irelia. *thumbs up* Next to Viktor in general and Yorick/Morde breaking the game with every new champion release...

What's a SilSol?

yorick always breaks the game

-long irc log-

i have no real idea what using attack move as opposed to the default movement entails, but i think this video matches the scenario described perfectly and i don't have much problem doing this with the default after some practice.

also: make lee sin ult interceptible please, quality of life change for when somebody dashes in front of it last second

kiting in LoL is extremely similar to vulture micro in starcraft 1, if anyone else can understand that reference

attack+move will let you hit whoever's in your attack range (this may not always be the person you want to hit) and is faster than right-clicking them every time

however the latter will ensure that you kite who you want to kite and while more micro-intensive, is probably safer and more accurate

[16:13:35] <az> as far as i can see
[16:13:38] <az> the justification so far is
[16:13:44] <az> "in case your reflexes arent good enough to click the guy
[16:13:48] <az> click the ground and you'll get him"
[16:13:50] <az> and that's it
[16:13:53] <az> in the brush example
[16:13:55] <az> i can understand it
[16:13:58] <az> in the chase example
[16:14:01] <az> it doesnt make any sense

thorns?? anyone???

it is less micro-intensive and actually more efficient, given that there is only one eligible target who is chasing you (the one you want to kite)

if you are able to run away while consistently right clicking the person you're kiting be my guest but you will slip up eventually and die, attack moving the ground will always get a hit off

so i have been fooling around on pbe and decided to buy nautilus

any advice for him, i tend to solo top as him

abuse the fact that your W is an auto-attack resetter. whenever you harass it should be autoattack->W immediately after->E->auto->Q if possible->auto again

the DoT from W really stacks up, don't underestimate it

also past level 5 it basically becomes impossible to trade with nautilus if his W is up since the shield is so strong and lasts for so long

build GP10 and CDR

harass frequently and you'll win lane, after level 6 you can burst anyone down from half health with your full combo and ignite

general build is R>W>E>Q with first few skills being WQWEWR if you're worried about level 2 ganks, or WEWQWR if you're not, or EWQWWR if you're up against someone who can zone you out level 1 and you just want to try to CS with E

nautilus is hella powerful and oddone has been using him a LOT more as a jungler, but he's good top lane too

Just had an awesome play as Gragas. Game was pretty boring and I wasn't doing so great kda-wise but I had way more CS than anyone on either team. Our team was winning slowly. We got baron, aced them and then pushed but we couldn't do much pushing because our team was Ram/AP TF/Corki/AP Teemo/Gragas. Grag can push minions but none of us could really hammer down towers. We take inhib but can't do anymore because it takes so long. Game goes on, they start to come back. We try to baron but they ace us because Akali is fed and pretty good. We fight back and it's pretty even. We try to baron again (every time we baroned I told them to wait until we win a fight first but they never listened.) and Malph ults in while Baron is really low. I throw my barrel on baron, use my steroid and dash into lulu and press Q again with perfect timing to secure baron. I throw my R and push most of their team into Rammus's ult. I throw another Q that gets me a double kill on Akali/Lulu. Warwick tries to kill me but I use hourglass. Corki gets a double kill on Malph and WW. Kennen tries to run but I throw a barrel in his path and get the ace. We push and win.

TF and corki can clear waves about as fast as you, and anyone on your entire team would be fairly hard to gank when split up

lol 0/12/0 katarina, how do you play that bad without intentionally doing so

also seriously rodan, get a hextech on ryze

He's talking about a Revolver into Wota. Get it after Frozen Heart and Banshee's Veil, but don't upgrade Tear into Archangel's until you have every other item in your build.

Yeah what vonFiedler said. Tear gives you more mana on quick combos, and Archangel's isn't really that important for Ryze.

Manamune gives him 67 AD, with no Attack Speed, Crit, Armor Penetration, or Lifesteal. Archangel gives him 100 AP, which is 20 damage on Overload, 60 damage on Rune Prison, 35 damage on Spellflux, and then another 20 for the second Overload, adding 135 damage to his full combo. Since this is magic damage it benefits from his CDR, Magic Penetration, Spell Vamp, and becomes AoE through his ult. Archangel is definitely the better choice.

manamune is MAYBE arguably better for early and mid game but you shouldn't be upgrading tear until your sixth item anyway, so I gotta agree with vonFiedler on this one.
