League of Legends: Let's Talk About uhhh??

What are you supposed to do when your game goes crazy and you find yourself (Irelia) tanking for your team of squishies at 10 minutes? Buy more health items? Farm and ignore the noobs on your team?

Assuming you're the initiator on your team, I'd build enough tank items for you to not get instantly bursted down. After you feel you have enough bulk to survive, then start building into your damage items.

MINIONS ARE NO LONGER OP!

New changes are going to be intersting esepcially in the jungle.

it seems Clothe+5 Pot may not be necessary, and Boots+3Pots might be more of an option.

Also Full Clear will most likely finish off at Lvl 3, with much less gold.

But to counter that it also means, we can expect Jungling to payout more Gold and XP at later stages of the game.

Just played Miss fortune for the first time and went the completely standard build of six fully charged bloodthirsters. I ended up 5vs1ing them and gained more health than I started with.

Also I'm gonna jungle with Viegar next patch. :)

> Make game more new-player friendly
> Make laning phase more aggressive

what

I know that when I was a new player, I was very very timid in lane. Jungle changes also mean more map awareness, which is also not really something seen in games for players just starting out, so I just don't see what Riot was trying to accomplish.
I dunno, I'm still pretty new to the game, so someone let me know if I'm thinking about this all wrong, but that's how I see it.

I'm about to hit level 30 and am 115-101 in normal games and I have still only seen like six people last hit. The game should detect whether you are last hitting or not and if you aren't it should force you to watch a 30 minute video on last hitting before you can play again.

This. I just got underfarmed and even got close to feeding on a game as vayne because my stupid lane partner teemo kept auto attacking every wave that passed the enemy turret range. Every now and then leona would aim right and zenith strike me or him and continue to burst us down with the help of their teemo.

A simpler and more realistic approach: make it so the bots in the vs. AI games don't constantly autoattack. That's probably where most people pick up the habit, "oh, they're just sitting there pushing the wave, that means I'm probably supposed to do it too". and have it show the money that bots make when they last-hit, so the incentive is clear

I hope the Sivir rework is one of the patch previews where they don't tell us half of the changes, because they reworked the one thing about Sivir that worked well.

At least by changing Ricochet they have no excuse not to put her range up to 550 at least.

I'm.....kind of disappointed with this patch. I mean, I see how health pots are strong early game, but that's mainly because they promote early game aggression (you will harass more because you can negate some damage with healing). And low base health champs like the health pots...I don't know, it just seems really counter-productive on their part.

Mixed feelings about the jungle changes. Less gold is sadface, and I assume the buffs will last for a lesser amount of time if respawns are quicker/a buff exists at every camp. And since the mastery buff is 20% as opposed to the previous 30%, that's shaving a fair bit of time off. Of course, that's speculation on my part, but it seems like what they would do.

I also have mixed feelings about the minion debuff. Yes, they would sometimes be the death of you if you rush into a giant crowd of them, but you can usually avoid that sort of thing if you play smart. I feel like weaker minions will lead to more aggression, but.....I don't know, I just don't feel like it sits well with me.

Sivir getting a rework is cool. I've never had a problem with her existing kit, but then again, I don't play ranked games, so I guess my opinion on that doesn't matter, lol. Though her new passive sounds like a weaker version of Vayne's. Meh.

So is Volibear a joke? Isn't there usually a video that shows the new champ before they're released? Or does that usually get posted on Tuesday?

No, some champions just don't get spotlights until some time later. I think it's because Phreak doesn't have time to make them. Volibear is coming in the next patch.

Blue buff is now infinitely better than it ever was.

lolhuh?

Looking forward to the jungle changes; it's going to make all my favorite champs more viable. :D

I am starting to wonder whether it is more Rodan's hidden ELO that's drawing out these players. No offense Rodan but I've been level 27 on two servers and I don't remember ever seeing double boots and revives at that level.

just had an opportunity to watch the IEM EU qualifiers Sk vs Empire, which is where the Nunu Karthus combo clip is from. Have a look at the series if you have the time because some of the team comps and plays by Empire are wonderful. It's not often you get to see Candy Panda manhandled by Urgot and Magic Pen Malphite.
