Most Generation PRNG Help / Information

This is weird but how do you go about RNGing for only the Nature & Ability but not shiny?

Lol I was stumped when I tried to figure it out.

Okay, can you guys tell me exactly how long did it take you guys to rng capture a pokemon like heatran and other legendary pokemon on the game?

I mean how many times do you guys have to keep resetting until you get the right iv set for the pokemon that you're looking for?

I spent about hour on my first try because I wasn't used to hitting such a high delay. :x But it gets better after a few catches.

When you understand the correct process, it will be easy to hit your seed.
Until that time, it'll take hours to correctly RNG. The first times it's one part luck, two parts skill and three parts patience.

Okay, Well... I have spent like 5 hours trying to rng capture the heatran that I'm looking for, and I still haven't found the one that I'm looking for.

If it really did take you and the others a hour or less, then I really don't see how you and the others were able to do it in a short period of time and I wasn't able to at all. =/

@Umbreon - I see. I just wish easier when you start to do it.

Did you input your coin flips in to the seed to time finder to find out how far you were off the mark? It helps to know if you're hitting your delay early or late so you can rectify the error.

I didn't say it was going to be easy. If I can do it, and some know how dense I can be with new things like these, then I can't see why you can't do it. Stick with heatran with the best IVs I laid out for you earlier, not the sucky non-RNG stats as those are far unacceptable.

@Expert evan - Well, can you tell me which iv's you laid out for me again?

@Shella - Can you tell me what do I have to do in order for the coin flip in the time finder to work? Cause the only thing it did was disappear after I clicked "ok" when I put the right coin flips in.

@Diabolico: here you go:

@Diabolico: So far as heatran is concerned, I did not specify shiny, but if you want to abuse for a SID with such a shiny spread then that's a challenge that most of us really haven't been as far (including me) and don't expect that of you, but is still considered a bonus. There are 4 different naive spreads to possibly go for:

Naive: 30/31/31/31/31/31
naive: 31/30/30/31/31/31 hp-ice(70)
naive: 30/31/31/30/31/31 hp-grass(70)
naive: 31/31/31/30/31/31 hp-electric(70)

How to go about any of the above, is our challenge for you.

The coin flip window is supposed to disappear and if you don't get an error message, the delay that you hit would be highlighted in blue in the Seed to time function of RNG reporter.

I'm assuming here that you have already:
1) Put the seed into the seed (hex) box.
2) Clicked DPPt and the first generate button.
3) Selected the date that you are RNGing.
4) Put your possible delay range and seconds range and clicked the second generate button.

If you did steps (1) to (4) the delay that you actually hit will be highlighted in blue in the second table you see. If you forgot to do Step (4), the coin flips window will just disappear and nothing will happen.
