I believe most of the successful Goodstuff Abomasnows are using a Quiet nature, right? Are they using a 0 IV or a 31 IV in Speed?
I've thought about redoing my team for the VGC, since I don't want to use Ho-Oh anymore.
Togekiss@Chilan Berry
sassy, 252 HP, 252 Speed
Follow Me
Air Slash
Encore
Endeavor
You can go without Protect on Togekiss since its primary goal is to secure Dialga gets TR up. Your original post had Lum on Dialga. If you're paranoid about sleep, use Chesto Berry, otherwise Chilan is nice to live through one boom with about yellowish HP. Encore really messes with stuff and can buy you time to run rampant with your sweepers. Endeavor is a Platinum move and I recommend it because after using Follow Me, you will probably on low health and with this you can deal major damage to the Poké most threatening to your squad to hopefully kill it off with Giratina's or Aboma's priority.
Dialga@Lum Berry
Quiet Nature, see rating regarding EVs
Draco Meteor
Fire Blast
Trick Room
Aura Sphere
Drop the physical moves. Apart from the fact that Brick Break really isnt that powerful and useful if no screens are up, a mixed set requires an EV spread that hampers its defensive capabilities. PM me if you are interested in what I came up with. Also, item choice is really difficult here but Lum Berry is probably the best because if Smeargle Dark Voids, you will get TR off. That is also why I suggested Chesto Berry on Togekiss. The moveset is the one that will net you the best coverage. Aura Sphere is good vs Tyranitar who gives your team quite a bit of trouble >_> You don't really need Thunder since without rain, it hits only 70% of the time and the slightly higher constant damage only makes a difference vs Lugia; you just won't OHKO any Kyogre with Thunder so you could as well simply Draco Meteor it.
Abomasnow@Life Orb
Quiet Nature, 252Attack, 252SpAttack, 6 HP
Blizzard
Ice Shard
Wood Hammer
Protect
Nice offensive set. Be sure to have it have 0 Spe IV to be faster than Tyranitar under Trick Room.
Giratina@Griseous Orb
Brave, some HP and SpAtk and Atk so that they can kill common stuff.
Shadow Force
Protect
Shadow Sneak
Dragon Claw/Draco Meteor
Yeah, I know what I said about mixed sweepers earlier but this is different. Mixed sets normally need Life Orb to deal enough damage on both sides of the spectrum but here you have an item that gives you a x1.2 boost on your STABs, be they physical or special WITHOUT recoil. Protect really must be on there since the Origin forme already gives away that it doesn't hold Haban Berry as some Giratina-A do and therefore you will often find yourself opponents who focus-fire on Giratina-O with their own Dragons. The last slot is up to preference but Draco Meteor is perfectly viable here, also because Giratina-O isn't useless after the drop.
Is there an Early release for HGSS at rockafeller?
Honestly why not? It hits Kyogre harder and that's what you'll be used your grass move on anyway. I have even been using it with Focus Sash since I don't care much if I take out my 1 HP Abomasnow if it means taking out Kyogre with it. Obviously the recoil is a problem and you will probably be taking away defensive EVs to put into Attack but to me it seems at least worth considering it maybe I'm wrong though.please no one use Wood Hammer
"around that time"so I guess locations are being revealed tomorrow?
my guess would be a week or so afterso I guess locations are being revealed tomorrow?
Not totally true. I'll assume Hasty Life Orb with 100 Attack EVs here (probably not a good idea, but just for the sake of argument). Assuming the defender has 252 HP EVs, many pokemon will survive the explosion, Explosion will never OHKO 252 HP Togekiss/Kyogre/Ho-Oh/Lugia/Rayquaza (and Cresselia obviously), will only do 39% to Tyranitar, and doesn't even guarantee OHKO on Abomasnow (a pretty high chance though). It also doesn't guarantee OHKO on Gyarados (without Intimidate) and will never OHKO with Intimidate. There are others most likely. Chances are, Gengar wouldn't and shouldn't be running Life Orb, so the damage will even be less.Exploding Gengar can 1HKO pretty much anything not a ghost, not Steel, and not Bulky Groudon.

Ok, so question:
What happens if you go to the VGC with your team, and half of your team you got online, and you don't know if they are hacked or not? I think that my three shinies may be hacked, and I am really worried about it.
I figured that I could use my Ho-Oh to replace one of them, and one of the ones I caught myself is kinda weak, so I was gonna replace that one with Latias, but I have a shiny Snorlax and a perfectly EVd shiny Metagross. Both are big players on my team, and I am really worried.
So, what should I do??
re-breed or recaugh them xD
btw, i've noticed that the complete rules has been anounced: http://www.pokemon.com/us/organized-play/championship-series/video/
The only interesting thing is that you can have 4 ubers on your teamsheet
And the entry method is the same as last year's one
