Platinum Challenge II Update! Coal Badge Edition!

Challenges:
I restricted the Starter to one of Squirtle, Bulbasaur, Chikorita, Mudkip or Torchic because I was tired of Sinnoh starters. I also had a requirement that one Pokemon only be available after the Elite Four, as my challenge goes until post National-Dex Cynthia.

OK, you get Joe the torchic. The reason it's called Joe is Blaziken, in the 4th gen anyway, is just considered average compared to Infernape. This torchic, however, has a burning desire to see that changed. It wants to prove that it can be better than Infernape, so it must solo any and all pokemon that are weak to fire or fighting, and it must have one of both of these moves at all times. On top of that, it must solo any chimchar/evo that it sees. (start with a turtwig, so your rival will have chimchar) It must solo your rival's chimchar every time. To evolve it must prove to itself that it can beat chimchar, by defeating your rival's chimchar. Then to evolve to Blaziken it must prove itself against something that is usualy called a hard-counter to itself(i.e. a bulky water type at full evo.), as well as beating your rival's chimchar/evo. 3 more times. Re-nickname it "Master." Now that it has evolved, it steels itself for its final challenge, so it must learn and keep Bulk Up as well. The final challenge will be to solo your rival completely on the final match up before the E4, and solo the Fire Type E4.
HotDave, I'm giving you a bad ass, and useful, HM slave. It is the most bad ass of all HM slaves you will ever encounter!

It must learn only HM moves when it's possible to teach it HMs (pre-evolved it can learn Surf, Strength, Rock Smash, and Waterfall. After evolution it can learn Rock Climb). It must also be the highest level Pokemon in your party at all times. (edited to be a bit more fair)
*edit* Saw you had a nickname requirement. Nickname it Aspirin, because it's going to need a lot of it.
You get Will the Drifloon.
He must be male. To show off his vast masculinity, Will can only use physical moves (status moves are fine too). Once the Fly HM is obtained and once he has evolved into Drifblim, he must be taught the move. Once you get Blackglasses from Celestic Town, he must be equipped with them.
@HotDave: Take a Meditite named Broken. Your Meditite has mad skills when it comes to fighting, but it is mad that Medicham is NU. Your rival, named Eo, is one of the greatest OU battlers ever; for this, Broken hates him. Broken must KO three of his Pokemon every time you fight him after you get Broken (I don't know how many times this is). Broken must learn at least one HM move to show its superiority (it rocks with bad moves), and it must learn one STAB move of each type. It sympathizes with its NU brethren and may not even attack any Pokemon in the Elite Four that is in NU as of the most recent Gen IV tier list. However, it must KO every Pokemon in the Elite Four that is in the OU tier. It must also solo Cynthia's Garchomp.
@Hotdave: You get Boxer the (male) Duskull. This Duskull has seen Fighter so many times and has watched WWE for so many years that he HAS to be a fighter. It has to punch everything into the ground. Teach it Shadow Punch and any other elemental punch of your choice. Its nature determines it's next move

+Atk- Earthquake
+Def- Will-o-wisp
+SpAtk- Night Shade
+SpDef- Substitute
+Spd- Shadow Sneak
Neutral- Confuse Ray

To evolve into a Dusclops, it must solo Maylene. It has to evolve into Dusknoir after defeating Iron Island but before beating Byron.
You get Dancer the Cacturne. It must know the on-site Evasive Subseed moveset (You will need a Heart Scale for Leech Seed). Have it solo Bertha (2nd Round).
Notable things that happened:
My official starter, a Turtwig that I named NotTorchic for the small amount of time I had him, defeated my Rival Eo's Chimchar by Tackling the crap out of him while Chimchar kept Leering at me. While my original plan called for someone to trade me a Torchic Egg, no one wanted to, so instead of waiting until after Roark to trade for the Egg, I got to do it upon reaching Sandgem Town. I caught a Starly in order to be able to trade, and did a bunch of laps around Twinleaf Town in order to hatch it. At some point before the battle with Eo, Joe learned his first Fire move, Ember. As he was the only Pokemon on my team, he soloed Eo, and his Chimchar by scratching it to faint. This allowed him the right to evolve into Combusken.
I had one wild Pokemon battle in the Oreburgh Gate, and it was with Aspirin, who was caught, and then taught as many HM moves as I could teach him. One. Rock Smash. While training Aspirin to be my highest level Pokemon, Joe evolved into Combusken and learned his first Fighting move, Double Kick. Once Aspirin was properly trained, Joe went into the Oreburgh Gym and fainted everything there with absolutely no problems whatsoever, and will likely do the same to Gardenia. Upon my return to Jubilife City, Joe took care of some local ruffians in ugly costumes.

Things I learned about this team:
Joe must solo everything weak to Fire and Fighting. Aspirin must always be the highest level. These two challenges do not mix well. 7 out of 17 types are weak to Fire or Fighting, including roughly half of Team Galactic's Pokemon, 4 of 8 Gym leaders, and Aaron. I'm changing Aspirin's requirement from "Must always be the highest level" to "Must start a major battle (Rival, Galactic Commander, Gym Leader, The Elite Four as a whole) as the highest level Pokemon", otherwise this basically violates my rule against forced grinding. Also, soloing with starters from 1 to 5 sucks a lot.

The current team:
Joe the Level 18 Combusken
Lax (+Def, -SpD)
Blaze
-Double Kick
-Growl
-Peck
-Ember

Aspirin the Level 17 Psyduck
Adamant (+Atk, -SpA)
Damp
-Water Gun
-Scratch
-Tail Whip
-Rock Smash

I have done this before on dutch anime forum, with this Pokémon Team: Furret, Ariados, Quagsire, Cyndaquil, Pikachu, Teddiursa.I had pictures of it but they don't work anymore Did it on Pokémon Gold. Now I want do it again on Pokémon HG/SS. I can Trade. The fist own who gives me a Pokémon say on which game Heartgold or SoulSilver.

Thank You.

Reserved for Kiara. This should be fun, I won't make it very difficult (for a change).

Kiara, you get Bill's Eevee. Evolve it to Jolteon as soon as you receive it. Teach it this moveset as soon as possible:
- Thundershock/Thunderbolt/Thunder/Discharge
- Shadow Ball/Thunder Wave
- Protect/Substitute
- Light Screen/Hyper Beam

@Kiara: Your starter will be a Cyndaquil named Heatblast. This little guy has been watching entirely too much Ben 10 and thinks he's Heatblast! As a result, he never knows fewer than two Fire moves (when possible). He must also wipe the floor with Bugsy to evolve into Quilava, and Jasmine to evolve into Typhlosion. As a Typhlosion, his other two final moves become apparent: he loves Heatblast's attack that looks suspiciously like Hyper Beam and Heatblast's hand-to-hand Fighting skills! He also decides to take on the strongest in the land and annihilate them a little at a time!

Recap:
~Take a male Cyndaquil named Heatblast.
~He may never know fewer than two Fire moves, when possible.
~He must solo Bugsy to evolve, and Jasmine to evolve again.
~As a Typhlosion, his last two moves must be Hyper Beam and a Fighting-type move.

As soon as you can Surf, you must go to Mt. Mortar and challenge the Karate King to a battle. Take a Tyrogue. You must grind him to Level 20 (shouldn't take long) and evolve him. Your restrictions depend on the evolution.

Hitmonlee: You have great attacking prowess and must solo the following Gyms: Misty, Brock, and EVERY part Ground or Steel pokemon belonging to a Gym or E4 member, besides Jasmine.

Hitmonchan: You can take hits exceedingly well and must solo the following Gyms/E4: Chuck, Bruno, Koga, Janine, and Karen.

Hitmontop: It is balanced and cannot learn the following moves: Foresight, Rapid Spin, Close Combat, Sucker Punch, Rest, Fake Out, Revenge, Mach Punch, Stone Edge, Bullet Punch, Bulk Up, Low Kick, Pursuit.

reserving for Kiara

EDIT: You get a Poliwag. I can't think of a decent nickname so name it whatever. This poliwag is a loyal pokemon, and wants to help out as much as possible, therefore it must learn at least 3 HM moves, but still be involved in the battling. He must never be the lowest level pokemon in your party. To evolve to Poliwhirl, he must simply know 3 HM moves. To evolve to Poliwrath, however, he must solo one full gym. Once a Poliwrath, he must solo 5 Elite four pokemon. Loyal to the end, he must be the one to take out RED's Snorlax and Charizard

Kiara, take a Slowpoke and name it "I see..." (with the periods). It can only evolve after being taught Ice Beam and fire blast. It must solo an elite four member or gym leader of your choice once evolved.

Karen won't be horrible, The only problems might be Double Team hax from the Umbreon, general damage from the Murkrow, and Destiny Bond from the Gengar..

I'm starting a Platinum Scramble challenge
Rules
· No trading.
· No honey tree only.
· No forced grinding
· Whoever names my starter gets to name the Trainer.
· Whoever names the first non-starter gets to name the Rival.
· Team must be able to learn all moves necessary to beat the game, and Fly.
· I must have a Pokemon that can use an HM move before I need to use it in order to advance.
· All Pokemon must be nicknamed.
· This Challenge ends with the defeat of the Elite 4 for the first time.

Finally I've got an update. Actualy I've had no lack of what to update for, but I just finally got around to it. enjoy

also, reserving for Fire Blast

EDIT: ok Fire Blast, you get Bidoof!!! This awesome little beaver gets left in the dust by most players about half of the way through the game, so this run-through you're going to show how it's not worthless! The requirements are very simple, just like the pokemon. To evolve you must solo a gym and learn 2 HM moves. After evolving you must keep it within the top 3 pokemon as far as levels, and it must solo Bertha of the E4. Simple right?(if you haven't guessed, must have simple as the ability)

double edit: Dangit Random, are you serious? dang, I remember that now. Oh well, I'll meet the requirement in Kanto then. btw, you can name the rival, since I don't want to

Reserved for Fire Blast. Taking a non-starter & your Rival's name is Random.

EDIT: Fire Blast gets Capers the Gligar, who must know & keep Earthquake, Swords Dance & U-Turn before Giratina. If you evolve it, you must replace Earthquake with Roost, & the move of your choice may not be Earthquake. Have it solo 5 Pokemon in the Pokemon League. Have fun.

@Lightsabre: You do realise the only trainer you fight on Victory Road is your Rival, right?

@Fire Blast enjoy your new Chingling (first one you catch)! NN it Peek'A'Boo! Evolve it ASAP!.
You may give it whatever moveset you fancy but if it has one move for example Wrap it must learn another move of the same type so in this case that could be Take Down. It must solo one gym leader or E4 memeber to prove its coolness this depends on its nature.
+Attack-Flint
+Defense-Bertha
+Special Attack-Lucian
+Special Defense-Volkner
+Speed-Candice
Neutral-Your choice.
Have fun!

I'm gonna start an emerald scramble.

Rules:

-No trading
-No forced grinding
-I need fly =P

1.
@BlocksRcool, your starter is Torchic. It so badly wishes it could learn Fly! Alas, it can't. However it hates that it is a Fire/Fighting type, therefore it can only know one Fire and one Fighting move at a time (its remaining two move slots can be any other type), because it refuses to learn! Soft-reset until it is Female. Nickname it HM02
2.
BlocksRcool gets my signature Flapper the Cheri Berry Zubat. It must hold a Cheri Berry to fight, if it loses it mid-battle, you must switch it out. It can evolve into Golbat Whenever, but to evolve it into Crobat, have it solo 10 trained Grass Type Pokemon (Watch out for Stun Spore!!!).

Have fun.
EDIT: oops, for some reason i thought it was trading lol. Sorry 'bout that.

3.
BlocksRcool gets an Oddish. This Oddish must know Acid, Giga Drain, Stun Spore and Rest, and must solo three trainers in Juan's gym.
4.
BlocksrCool-Take a Jigglypuff. Teach it Pound, Sing, Rollout, and Rest. It can forget Pound eventually, but not the other three. Can't evolve until it gets Rest by Level Up or reaches Lilycove City. Has to solo every Pikachu, Pichu it sees.

5.
Recap:
  • Get a Timid Whismar, NN Snookums
  • As a Whismar: Can’t use STAB, can’t use or be hit by sound based moves (if you do get hit, you must ether switch out or use a healing item), cant enter trainer battles.
  • As a Loudrod: Can’t use or be hit by sound based moves, can’t use STAB.
  • As an Exploud: Can only use STAB moves, Cant use or be hit by sound based moves.
Grats on 100 posts!

I need a pokemon with surf >.>

6.
ok heres your surfer
you must take a makuhita from the entrance of dewford cave and escort it at the front of your party to the back room where steven is. You may switch in other pokemon to battle but it must be in the front of ur party and must not die. From here it must retain arm thrust and belly drum ( when it learns it) after beating dewford gym, you realise the makuhhita had a fear of flying types, because of this you must not fight any flying types and it must not evolve until you solo winonas altaria with your makuhita. After this point it may evolve into a hariyama. It must also defeat on of wallaces pokemon. Enjoy!!!

Golbat evolves into Crobat via Happiness, not Trading.

Fireblast- you get a Skorupi. It thinks it's a Croagunk, and it cannot be used against a Croagunk or Toxicroak in battle. If Skorupi is the last Pokemon in your party when battling the Croagunk, you lose the battle. Because of that, it may not use its Bug STAB in battle. To evolve, it must solo ten Galactic Grunts and two of Byron's Gym Trainers because they're weak to Fighting. Once it evolves into Drapion, it goes to a mental health clinic and realizes that it is not a Croagunk, and feels that it wasted so much of its life pretending it was a Croagunk, and feels angry at Croagunk and Toxicroak. Because of that, it may not use its Poison STAB as a Drapion. It must solo every Croagunk or Toxicroak it meets, but cannot be used against Candice.
Recap:
Take a Skorupi, cannot fight against Croagunks or Toxicroaks, can't use Bug STAB
Has to solo 10 Galactic Grunts and 2 Byron Trainers to evolve
Once evolved, must solo every Croagunk and Toxicroak it sees and cannot learn Poison STAB. Can't be used against Candice
