Okay, I'm quoting it.

I meant while you were posting when you quoted it so you saw my post in this:

Um so I've been lurking on these forums for a while and finally decided to make an account. My question first of all is that I need a few opinions on what pokemon to choose for a Doubles team I'm making and I'm not sure where to post. Can anybody tell me where to post threads like these? Thanks.

Well the simple answer is you DON'T make posts like that.

If you already have a team you need finalizing, post it in the RMT section of the forums.

But if you're looking from team building help from the start, your only option is to sign up for a tutor in the battling 101 program, which only takes applications every now and then and probably won't fit your timeline.

Otherwise, just throw some shit together and learn through experience. If you're thinking about doubles then I suggest you check out the VGC sets in the database and just read until you get a general idea of the metagame. If you don't feel like researching, just throw some random ideas together and get out there. You'll learn from your mistakes and such.

Generally, asking people to help build your team is GREATLY frowned upon in this community. We don't mind helping you make minor changes after you've developed your team, but the starting stages have to come from you. There's lots of material to read around the site if you feel you need help getting started, so just read up if you feel like you have no idea where to start.

For future reference, you can use [noparse] tags to show the raw code in the final post. Makes demonstrations a lot easier.

Does anyone know whether it's likely, if a console Stadium-like game for Gen 5 is made, that new forms will be usable in its battles, provided that it's open to all Gen 5 games? I remember thinking Stadium 2 had some problem with gender when a Crystal cart was used, so I was a little worried that new forms wouldn't "translate" well if such DS cartridges could be loaded to it that couldn't accept those forms.

If such a game was made I believe that yes the therian formes would be usable. This is because they would exist prior to this new stadium game and thus be easily programmed in. I think the problem with stadium 2 was because crystal came out the same day in Japan. Seemed like they would've had less time to test I guess :)

Does anyone know whether it's possible to fake GTS Therian formes onto BW2 (or otherwise get them without the extra game)?

I'm assuming you meant "onto BW instead of BW2" since the Therians were introduced in BW2 and naturally work fine in BW2. The Therian formes do not exist in BW and can't be moved to BW

Would a Golurk set abusing Gravity (similar to Landorus) have any merit or is it just too slow?

I dunno, if you mean on an OU team I think I'd definitely not use it. Gravity is already a bit of a gimmick and it doesn't change the fact that Golurk doesn't do much in OU besides check terrakion. Landorus is in my opinion much better, also be sure to try out Landorus' smack down set, it works a lot like gravity would. Hope that helps :)

What are some good enablers for a trick-room Reuniclus sweeper in sandstorm? I run a bulky Hippowdon with Curse, Ice Fang, Slack off, and EQ.

Steels in rain are my biggest problem.

THanks!

how i can check if my id/sid combo of 3 gen generate a shiny spread that i wanted, I am currently learning rng abused on ruby and Sapphire.

Enablers? I'm assuming you mean "teammates". Well it sounds like running hazards will help your team out. TR Reuniclus doesn't usually have room for Calm Mind or Nasty Plot, meaning that it isn't quite as powerful as it wishes it was. Running lots of hazards (mainly SR and Spikes) can help wear down pokemon to ensure a Reuniclus sweep. Spikes will also help against Jirachi and Ferrothorn, the two most common Steels used in Rain, since both are grounded. As for your setter, I'm recommending a Ferrothorn of your own. Ferrothorn can set up hazards, is immune to Sandstorm, and uses the opponent's Rain against it. Even better, Ferrothorn is slow enough to abuse Reuniclus' Trick Room should it faint early. Here's a set for your team:

598.png

Ferrothorn@Leftovers
Sassy Nature, 252 HP / 200 Att / 56 SpD
Spikes
Gyro Ball
Bulldoze
Leech Seed/Power Whip/SR

This isn't standard Ferrothorn, but it works well for your team. Spikes is there for the explained reasons, while Gyro Ball is your main STAB, boasting perfect accuracy and usually 120 BP. The interesting move on this set is Bulldoze. Bulldoze lets Ferrothorn damage Steels who normally wall it all day long. Unfortunately, it's not very powerful so Ferrothorn needs to invest heavily in Attack to break SubCM Jirachi's Substitutes. The last move is more open ended, but I recommend Leech Seed or Power Whip. However, if you don't have anything else to set up Rocks, then Ferrothorn can do that as well.

It's important to not play this Ferrothorn the same as the standard one. It's not as bulky, and will get worn down faster. If you'd rather have a bulkier variant, it's probably not even worth it to run Bulldoze at all. Either use the extra Attack EVs or run a standard move set.

Do it all in the main window of RNG Reporter. Set the seed to 5A0 (I'm assuming your internal battery is dry; if it isn't, you're probably not going to be able to do it), set the max frame for however high you're willing to go, put your ID and SID into their respective places, check the Shiny Only box, set any restrictions on IVs, nature, etc. if you're looking for something specific, and hit Generate.

Also, in the future, please direct RNG-related questions to the help thread.

I search with the seed b10c0347 by method 1 for ruby and sapphire stationary legends etc.
and the following results are displayed. Also i use 3gen pandoras box to search the frame for the sid/id. this results work for ruby and Sapphire legends?

Nice. This set works very well, even with Tyranitar, who shares a fighting weakness. Thanks!
