Yay for the Battle Hall!

+12 CC and +12 KOs to use for Glow. 4 go into EC to turn her into a Lucario. She picks up Dark Pulse, Metal Claw, Metal Sound and Bone Rush for free upon evolution. Additionally 8 KOs are used as MC to get Heal Pulse, Aura Sphere, Close Combat, Extremespeed (LU), Psychic and Earthquake (TM). She's still far from complete but this is a good start.

  • waterwarrior: APPROVED
  • C$FP: APPROVED
  • Yarnus of Bethany: You should say how Aipom gets each of those moves (eg, level-up, BW TM) so that approvers can more easily work out how many counters you should be spending and if the move actually is or is not in that part of the pokemon's movepool. APPROVED anyway, but it's something to consider.
  • deadfox081: APPROVED
  • Orcinus Duo: 4 KOC in one match? That's gotta be a record! Anyway, the prizes say you only get 2 CC, bringing your CC total to 5. Fix that and you're APPROVED
  • Lord Jesseus: APPROVED
  • Destiny Warrior: APPROVED
  • EspyOwner: Endure is only available as a past-gen tutor or past-gen TM for Electrike, meaning it costs 3 MC to get the move. Since Electrike only has 2 MC after that battle, he can't afford it. Also, Deino's EC should be 0/9, not 0/6. NOT APPROVED (EDIT: These have been fixed now. APPROVED)

This brings my UC to 35.7. Then, from this battle, I claim 3 CC, bringing my CC total to 3.

Ursula the Jellicent gets 3 MC and 1 KOC. The KOC goes into her MC, bringing it to 4. Using those 4 MC, she will learn the BW TMs Psychic and Trick Room, bringing her MC to 0.

Oogie Boogie the Dusknoir gets 3 MC and 2 KOC. The KOC go into his MC, bringing it to 5. Using those 5 MC, he will learn the BW TM Brick Break and the past gen TM Focus Punch. In addition, I will spend 4 of my UC to teach him the BW TMs Psychic and Rock Slide bringing my UC total to 31.7. Finally, since I purchased Oogie Boogie as a Duskull on May 22, which is before the last change made to the stat system, Oogie Boogie still has a free nature change. I will use this to change his nature from Brave to Quiet, changing his attack to 4 and his special attack to 4 while leaving all other stats the same.

Gaston the Machamp just gets 3 MC. They'll be used to teach him the past gen TM Bide, bringing his MC to 0.

Gantu the Gyarados just gets 2 MC and 1 DC, which combined with the 2 MC he already has gives him 4 MC and 3/5 DC. Those 4 MC and 1 UC will be used to teach him the BW TM Payback and the past gen TM Body Slam, bringing his MC to 0 and my UC total to 30.7.

Claiming from this battle.
Dratini gets 1 EC, 2 MC, 1 DC and 2 KOC, which I will magically transform into MC.
With its (now) 4 MC, I'll purchase Dragon Dance (level-up), Outrage (level-up) and Double Team (BW TM).
Rebble gets 1 EC, 2 MC and 1 DC. With 1 MC, I'll purchase Earth Power (level-up).

I get 2 CC (I'll save them for now) and a win.

Okay, lets spend some UC in getting ready for a TLR.

First off Spika the Omastar: Rock Blast (LU, 1) Smackdown (TM, 2), Hidden Power [Grass-7] (TM, 2), Icy Wind (Tutor, 3) for 8 total.

Next up Woosh the Tomohawk: Sky Drop (LU, 1), Hurricane (LU, 1), Yawn (Egg, 3), Solarbeam (TM, 2), Grass Knot (TM, 2), Hidden Power [Rock-7] (TM, 2), Reflect (TM, 2), Focus Blast (TM, 2) for 15 total.

Okay lets claim from this great lot of fun (said sincerely for one of the first times in my life).

+4 CC (not UC as IAR said) and counters for the middlemons.

Metang got 1 EC, 2 MC, 1 DC, 1 KOC. KO slots into DC while these 2 MC plus 3 UC are spent on Agility (LU), Flash Cannon and Grass Knot (TM).

Golbat only got 1 EC, 2 MC, 1 DC. 2 MC + 3 UC buy him Giga Drain (Egg) and Double Team (TM) while his Dream World ability (Infiltrator) is also unlocked.

Whirlipede grabs 1 EC, 2 MC, 1 DC, 1 KOC and given its one of my Bugs why not evolve it now. KO + 3 UC go into EC to give me a Scolipede which also nets Megahorn for free. 2 MC + 6 UC gets me Earthquake, Rock Slide, Substitute and Swagger (all TM).

Monferno earned 1 EC, 2 MC, 1 DC, 2 KOC. 1 KO each goes to EC and DC which unlocks Iron Fist. I also appear to have purchased Torment via LU twice so I will redeem 1 MC from that (Chimchar got it as <25 and I must have bought it again for Monferno) so those 3 MC + 4 UC buy Counter (Egg), Grass Knot and Aerial Ace (TM).

Zweilous just gets 1 EC, 2 MC, 1 KOC. KO adds to the EC and 2 MC + 3 UC buy Taunt (TM) and Fire Fang (Egg).

Last off is Luxio. He gets his total HP fixed to 90 along with 1 EC, 2 MC, 1 DC, 1 KOC. KO goes into DC and 2 MC + 5 UC buy him Crunch, Wild Charge (LU), Volt Switch (TM) and Quick Attck (Egg).

By my total count that's 27 UC spent, and thanks to my previously unapproved post my total should be at 51 UC which now drops down to 24. As before I will post all the involved mons here to be checked over/for my own convenience.

ok: so...

I got all the MC, EC and DC from the different games... but I did this a long time ago, so I might need some help in getting things fixed up...

Anyway, I'd like to use 1 KOC to unlock Bulbasaur's DW Ability, that's all!

I get two HC, which I turn into EC, so Caterpie gets to evolve!

(I also get 2 CC.)

  • Professor Science: APPROVED
  • deadfox081:
    • Post 1: APPROVED
    • Post 2: APPROVED
  • Yarnus of Bethany: Your Deerling battle is fine, but unfortunately the second battle you linked to only ever got one round completed, meaning nobody gets any counters from it. In other words, first battle APPROVED, second battle NOT APPROVED
  • TheMogRunner: APPROVED
  • Ziposaki: APPROVED
  • TheWolfe: Light Clay only costs 6 CC. Give the extra 4 CC you spent on it back to yourself and you're APPROVED
  • Its_A_Random: That battle wasn't one that ended in DQ, it was one you subreffed, which means claiming prizes follows different rules. Specifically: "The Subref will received Counters equal to the the size of the remaining match." Since the size of the remaining match when you came in was 5v5 singles, you get 13 UC from it. So give yourself the extra 3 UC and you're APPROVED
  • typon77: APPROVED
  • Dark Pulse: *ahem* DO NOT EDIT THE PRIZES INTO YOUR PROFILE BEFORE THEY ARE APPROVED! That said, your prizes are APPROVED as long as you don't add them in a second time, and you can actually evolve your Bulbasaur into Ivysaur now if you want (though doing so means posting the new Ivysaur in another post in this thread).
  • AOPSUser:
    • Post 1: APPROVED
    • Post 2: You also get 2 CC. Plus, even though Metapod's DW ability is the same as its regular ability, you still need to list it twice since the fact it has a DW ability is the reason it has a DC. Finally, evolving into Metapod does not grant Metapod a free Iron Defense. You have to buy the move with MC since it is a past gen tutor move (which costs 3 MC), not a pre-level-25 level-up move. NOT APPROVED
  • Pwnemon: You should say which pokemon gets the EC, MC and DC. APPROVED as long as you put those counters on Hot Potato the Embirch. Also, since you're putting the KOC into EC, that brings his EC to 4/9, meaning you could evolve him into Flarelm if you want (though doing so means posting the new Flarelm in another post in this thread).
  • C$FP: APPROVED
  • King Serperior: Like I said to Yarnus, if a battle does not get at least 2 rounds completed, then nobody gets any counters from it, so NOT APPROVED

This gives me 1.5 UC, bringing my UC total to 32.2. This UC gain is SELF-APPROVED

Also, an important announcement for anyone claiming prizes here:

When you claim prizes from a battle, state in your post what the prizes are. For pokemon-specific counters gained (ie, EC, MC, DC, KOC and HC), state which pokemon gets those counters. I have been lenient with this up to now, but from now on, if I am approving prize claims, any claims that fail to meet these criteria will get an automatic NOT APPROVED until this issue is fixed.

4 UC

EDIT: 10 UC

EDIT: Raid. I assume each of Metagross, Bronzong, Magnezone and Aggron get 6 MC, since all of their DC's are full and zarator said this for rewards:
2 Evolution Counter
4 Move Counters
2 Dream Counter
4 Trainer Counters
7 Valor Counters
16 KO Counters - to be used on any of the Pokémon brought for the raid
I get 4 CC, and an additional 15 CC for beating Articuno on Hard Mode for the first time.

Metagross: Mimic (3), Block (3)

Bronzong (using 7 KOC): Iron Defense (1), Calm Mind (2), Telekinesis (2), Rock Tomb (2), Charge Beam (2), Flash (2), Psych Up (2)

Aggron: Protect (1), Taunt (2), Endure (3)

Magnezone (using 9 KOC): Agility (NYPC; 3), Natural Gift (3), Curse (3), Take Down (3), Rage (3)

I believe Magnezone's movepool is now complete.
